Jose and Rogerio did an exceptional job of quoting and installing. Even with changes late in the process. Flexible with timing due to HOA and builder delays.

The job I wanted was for a new front of the house sidewalk by tearing out the old sidewalk, removing and disposing of the old cement to prep for a new sidewalk. . When the crew were finished installing the new sidewalk it looked great! The installers were hard workers and did an exceptional job. They were professional and polite. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for professional service at a very reasonable cost. I was so pleased at the job extremely well done!

I contacted Carlos with Special Concrete, LLC after reading many positive reviews on Google. I wanted to have a 10’ x 20’ concrete patio put in. Carlos came out the same evening to give me an estimate, which came in a little lower than my other estimates. We specifically discussed the height of the patio, and how far down they would dig. I was concerned with an existing French drain. He pointed at the foundation, indicating an approximate height between the ground and the bottom of the siding. We also discussed how much damage to the grass he expected, and would they make repairs to the grass. Carlos stated any digging would be done by hand, but the concrete would have to be brought back in a cart. There would be minimal damage, if any, to the grass. Carlos stated his crew could start that week, and I agreed to have Special Concrete, LLC do the work. His crew came out two days later to start, with the understanding the job would be finished within the next two weeks. I was not home when the crew came the next day to start. After viewing my camera footage, I saw that they did use a mini excavator to do the digging, which tore up more grass than he had suggested. Unfortunately, I was not able to be home again the day they came to pour the concrete, and they were gone before I did get home. When I got home, I opened the back door and looked through the storm door. Assuming the concrete was still wet, I started to open the storm door, just to see what it looked like below the door sill. As I inched open the door, I felt resistance, and heard the door scraping through the wet concrete. I walked around and discovered the concrete had been poured to a height above the bottom of the siding, and was in fact covering the siding, the door sill, and the bottom of the storm door. I immediately contacted Carlos and told him what I had just seen. He asked if the wood (forms) were still in place, and I told him they were. His response was, it would be alright after the concrete dried and the forms were removed. I tried to reword the facts, maybe he didn’t understand what I was saying. I sent pictures showing the concrete covering the siding, the door sill and the where the door had drug across the concrete. He replied he would talk to the installers. That was the last I heard from Carlos. The next day the crew came back to remove the forms. I pointed out the obvious, the concrete covering the siding and door sill, and where the door had drug across the concrete, as well as a saw cut that was off. He acknowledged that he “slipped” when making the saw cut, and the only offer to make the patio right was to remove the sweep from the bottom of the door. There is absolutely no way I would ever recommend Special Concrete, LLC.

Amazing experience with a fair price, very strong sidewalk, I park my heavy tractor a few days and still so amazing and in perfect condition, I told José what I need and he gave me something better than he asked for, a wonderful surprise, thank you Jose, my wife loves your art in my back yard, another perfect job!! I really recommend this, professional and friendly people!
