Scott took a look at the basement and agreed it needed work done. The dingy, broken, mildewed acoustic tile and the two inadequate fluorescent lights made the room an unpleasant place to work. Scott tore out the ceiling, found faulty wiring, and rewired the ceiling for twelve LED lights. He then dropped electrical lines so that four working electrical outlets were added to the drywall walls he installed. He also installed a drywall ceiling. The holes for the lights were cut perfectly. Trim was added to the bottom of the walls and was painted a soft white. Scott's painting was meticulous as he painted the ceiling, walls, stairs, and stairwell. Several problems arose during the remodeling of the basement: the previously-mentioned wiring, a water meter sticking out from the wall, a storage area under the stairs needed a door, and the floor needed an attractive covering. Scott's carpentry skills came out when he designed a box-with-plant-shelf to hide the water meter and a door with hinges to hide the storage area. When it came to installing the tile floor, several areas of the floor were uneven, so Scott evened the concrete so that the tile lays flat. The basement now has a welcoming, well-lighted feeling and is a lovely addition to the house.
Description of Work: A cinder block basement room with old acoustic tile ceiling was remodeled into a lovely room with LED lighting and plenty of storage and outlets. Walls were dry walled and painted and the floor was tiled.

Scott Meyers repaired, sanded, and caulked the exterior trim to the garage door as well as had several coats of paint applied. He did the same to an exterior door and power washed, prepared, and painted a section of fence. Scott helped me pick out a color of paint for the bathroom walls that would work with the already competing colors of fixtures the previous owner installed. He then helped me choose a bedroom color that complemented the colors of the bathroom. I asked Scott to complete all painting projects within a week and he did.
Description of Work: Scott Meyers repaired and painted the trim on our garage door, an exterior door, and fencing. He also stripped wallpaper from a bathroom, painted the walls and ceiling of the bathroom, and painted a bedroom.
