Small Exterior Home or Structure Painting or Staining
He took my deposit and I never heard from him again. Wouldn?t recommend him to my worst enemy. He came highly recommended by my neighbors but, I got scammed

It went well, the price was great, he got it done quick and we think it looks just amazing so our tenants are going to be very happy. We are going to use him on our other rental and eventually on our personal residence when we get some other remodeling done. Don't mine the ugly carpet, that is getting replaced, but notice the trim. It looks like it is brand new after this painting.

They are amazing! Julio was very responsive. They finished a day ahead of schedule. Their work was clean and the team was very kind. My mother was so impressed when she saw our home she recommended them to several of her friends! For the quality and amount of work we had done, you can't beat the price!

Julio was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew did a great job on our kitchen cabinets and interior walls, trim, and ceiling. He was professional and respectful, and I will definitely call him again for future needs.

Sandoval Painting did an EXCELLENT job (quality, professionalism, responsiveness). We had a general contractror finish our basement and upgrade our kitchen/half bath last fall and Julio Sanoval is the painter he uses to do the painting for him. We hired Sandoval Painting to do our exterior painting based on the QUALITY work he did in the interior of our house last fall. He was very punctual - he came to give us an estimate the day we called him. He returned every text/call very promptly. He and his crew worked non stop for more than 2 full days- finishing the last night around 8:30 in an effort to make sure the job was completed timely. Mr. Sandoval mentioned that he used to have a larger crew working for him (now he does every job himself with 2 other workers) but that he doesn't any more due to the fact that their work wasn't up to his standards (which seems to be the issue the other reviewer had). Julio speaks English very well. He was VERY patient with me while I was having trouble choosing a color - he even went to the paint store with me and told me what he thought of various choices. He is truely concerned that you like the work he does. He said anything can be fixed. He walked around the house with us when they were done and fixed any issues we pointed out and he said to just call him if we see anthing else and he will come out and fix it. He and his workers really paid attention to the details. We would not hestiate to hire him again!

We were not happy with the outcome. Painter had one full week to perform the work. Owner had a crew do the prep work (sanding and masking), and the crew did most of the trim and baseboards that had to be hand painted. The crew did not speak English well enough to communicate effectively. It appeared to us that the crew was not well trained. Generally, they tried to do a good job but did not have the skills to do so. They used our ladders; however, when trying to reach trim, they mostly tried to stand on tip toes to reach high areas rather than go get a ladder to do it right. We continually had to point out missed areas, mistakes, and poor coverage. We had over-spray on our floors, mirrored closet doors, and windows that we had to clean up after they were gone. The owner, Julio Sandoval, was an excellent painter; however, his involvement with our job was too limited. Crew worked Mon, Tue, Wed, and Friday. Thursday was a "drying day" where no work was performed. Friday, the crew and the owner worked all day from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM to get the job finished because they had four jobs starting on Monday. Friday was the day that the bedrooms, stairwell, and bathroom received two coats of paint (mostly rolled on). We did not expect them to work until 9:30 PM and had to cancel dinner plans at the last minute so they could finish their work. They simply rushed the work on Friday to the point they did a poor job. In my opinion, the first coat had inadequate time to dry before the second coat was applied. They trashed our bathroom sink cabinet cleaning up some of their equipment leaving watered-down white paint splashes on the black sink cabinet. They cleaned some of their equipment in our landscaping using our hoses and leaving an empty paint can in the bushes. When they tried to mount a bi-fold door, their dirty hands left finger prints in the freshly sprayed door. In addition, when they removed hardware from the doors, brackets, and door hooks, all parts were put into one bucket. When reassembling the hardware, one bracket had three different kinds of screws installed rather than the screw that originally belonged with that bracket. They lost some of the hardware in their rush to clean up, and they took our new canvas drop cloth that cost us about $27 with them. They lost two special wrenches that we needed to adjust the bi-bold doors and we had to go back to the manufacturer to get the special tool so we could reinstall and adjust the doors. The biggest problem was that Julio did not return text messages or telephone calls asking them to return the missing screws, missing wrenches, and the new drop cloth. There was no opportunity to create a "punch list" and get them to fix the remaining problems and cleanup. They took the money and ran!
