Ron and his crew from Richardson Exteriors were nothing shy of incredible to work with. Ron was very honest and extremely helpful throughout the process of picking out siding, etc. His crew worked hard and did an amazing job and were very professional. I would highly recommend Richardson Exteriors.

We called Richardson Exteriors to inspect our home for hail damage. Ron was very helpful. He worked with us and our insurance company for months to have our siding and gutters replaced. He met with us several times, gave us samples and very helpful suggestions. He was able to include the venting of bathroom fans that were not vented properly before. The company did a nice job, and we are pleased with the results. They are very busy, so sometimes it took a while to get a response or they'd not be able to keep a meeting date for a while. They did eventually keep all their commitments, but the delays did add to the process. Richardson Exteriors does good work, and Ron is likable and very helpful, and if they could respond a bit quicker and keep their meeting dates, we would not hesitate to use them again.

I can't say enough about Richardson Exteriors!I I will only use this company for all exterior projects!! Our roof and new gutters look great! The crew was fantastic, they worked hard to get the job done and cleaned up nicely at the end of the project. Ron Richardson, the owner is fantastic, he is extremely honest, helpful and friendly. Ron is extremely easy to work with. Although we might have saved a few dollars on "on sale" windows, his quote for the project was fair and reasonable, and we are very pleased with the quality and look of the finished work. The project involved 7 windows with exterior coil trim, the front door (with storm door), and attic insulation in two spaces, including removal of the old insulation and addition of new insulation. He gave us a time frame of 4-5 weeks for the door and windows and called to set up the installation right on time. He set up having a dumpster delivered and coordinated the window replacement and attic insulation so that the entire project was completed in one day! This was very convenient for us and the installers were efficient and professional. We feel that Richardson Exteriors was an excellent choice for this project.

Richardson Exteriors installed a new roof on my house in June 2019. They did a great job and for a great price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

The entire project went very well. Ron responded to my call promptly. He was professional, knowledgeable and helpful in providing information that helped me make decisions. I am a relatively new home owner with a 56 year old home. The siding team was prompt, professional and expert in their craft. They measured much of the siding and were precise and efficient. Rod was helpful, answered my questions, and worked independently and needed little help from me. Rod was friendly, yet very professional in his approach to his work. After agreeing to price and work to be performed. Ron never called to scheduled time to complete work. I called multiple times and Ron promised I was on the top of the list. I given up on hearing back from Ron or having them do the repair work.

Ron was excellent to work with. His quotes were in line with others and certainly represented a fair cost. This project started in the late fall. The roof and new garage door installation were completed quickly, but the siding and soffit work was slowed by the weather and an electrical situation that required the involvement of AEP, which naturally took 6 weeks for AEP to resolve. During this ordeal Ron assisted in hiring and communicating with an electrician and worked around the situation as well as he could, having work on the gutters and shutters completed. Ron also assisted in contracting with a company for concrete porch repair which was required before new columns could be added. Once these situations were resolved the work was completed promptly. During the project Ron was readily available for any phone calls or questions I had. He also kept me informed of worker schedules and came out to my house several times to ensure both quality and that the project was being completed as written.

After interviewing several contractors, meeting Ron was like a breath of fresh air. He is not a particularly good salesman, actually -- and I mean that in a good way. No high pressure tactics. He could have sold us extra stuff, I am sure. All his suggestions were to get us the best value for our money. In particular he talked me out of a few things that I was sure we needed to do, and I am very grateful he did -- all the other contractors just nodded right along with me. But he used his many years of experience to tell me that I didn't need it. We did have to wait 4 months for his top crew to be available, but it was worth the wait. Rodney (siding installer) is so good. In every profession there are some people who have exceptional attention to detail, and Rodney is definitely one of those. He was always willing to talk me through different options for minor decisions that needed to be made. I am sure he could have gone faster and moved on to other jobs, but he took his time and got it right. He even went out of his way to accommodate some silly requests on my part. We are so happy with the exterior of our home, and have gotten many compliments. We are also very happy with the windows we had installed. The windows themselves were installed in one day, and the trim was done in small pieces over parts of 3 or 4 days. The windows are so solid and look great. The trim work was good but not great. Just minor details that most people would probably not notice -- like for instance, some of the trim was cut with a saw blade that clearly needed to be replaced. Just not clean cuts. And some of the trim was installed without sanding at all -- it clearly needed to be sanded. Kirk was committed to making sure we were happy with it, and all in all, we were. Just some finer details that I thought could have been better. But I am nitpicking -- I would highly recommend Richardson exteriors to anyone looking to do new siding or exterior work.

Our new front door looks great, it add much more light and looks so home-y. In and out for the door in less than a day. We also had our wood trim replaced on 80% of our home, this project took longer but the end result looks great!

Ron was prompt to provide me with his estimate for service and he was professional in his discussion with me about the planned work. He was able to get the job done despite my schedule (which is not conducive to being home to provide workers access to the house/back yard). I am satisfied with the work as performed (my only reservation is that it took longer than I had anticipated to get started) and will not hesitate to use Richardson Exteriors again in the future.

We have an older garage with a sloped roof, every time it rained water would pool in the middle of the garage roof and this caused the roof to leak over time. Richardson Exteriors re-sloped the entire roof and installed a thick new rubber roof. Now drainage is not a problem and the garage stays completely dry. We consulted with a number of companies and Ron had the best warranty and price point so we decided to go with his company. The work was done quickly and efficiently within one day. Very happy with the results!

So far no leaking! The work was done earlier than expected. It was done timely. They cleaned up great after. They were very professional. I felt bad they were doing the work in the extreme heat.

From start to finish we were very pleased. Ron was very helpful in selecting the right product and Dan was efficient and did a great job on the installation. After talking to a number of other contractors about replacing the door, Richardson Exteriors was by far the most helpful. They were easy to work with and the cost was comparable to quotes we got for doors that weren't nearly as nice.

After twenty-five years without real improvements, our house is now clean from the careful, gentle pressure washing. All the exterior trim exposed to weather is now clad in aluminum for low-maintenance in the future. The five new windows and two glass doors, and a larger decorative gable, makes our house more than just repaired. It was updated. Great curb appeal! All the advice about colors and what would work best for our goals was great, and all work was done efficiently with excellent workmanship.

Richardson Exteriors replaced most of the windows in our house. They did outstanding work. The windows look and function great. They were very responsive to our questions and requests and easy to communicate with. Ron handled the permitting process and represented us at the architectural review board meeting. We enjoyed working with him and felt like he’s a straightforward contractor. When it came to installation, the installers were skilled, hardworking and courteous. They finished on time with a good work product. We will hire this company again for our future projects.

They gave us a quote and performed the work in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. I appreciate that he shared information about other potential roof issues/repairs, but did not try to push us to get a new roof at this time.

Ron and his staff were all amazing to work with. From the beginning quote, to follow up calls and installation, everyone was professional and informative.

Our house has a leak that happens only several times a year. It only leaks when it rains really hard. The previous homeowners and us have had multiple contractors come to fix the leak, but the leak always seems to come back. Nobody has been able to get to the root of the problem. So Richardson Exteriors is the next contractor (and hopefully last contractor) we are using to fix the leak. For the quote and scheduling, I dealt with the owner Ron. He always returned my phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner, and I really appreciated that. Ron said that the leak could be from various areas so he could really only fix the leak by taking all the siding off the problematic side of our house and rebuilding it with new siding (since the old had been caulked so much by other contractors) and putting up proper flashing. This being our third attempt, we figured we'd give this plan a shot. Richardson Exteriors came and removed all the siding and trim. They looked at where the water damage was, and determined the cause of the leak to be from several areas with missing roof flashing, water from the J-channel going behind the flashing instead of out in front, and not having house wrap. So they put new siding, trim, and house wrap up. Also, they replaced rotted OSB, removed two rotted out louvers that were in the siding, and put vents in the soffit instead. They also tied in our 2nd floor gutters to the 1st floor gutters so that water would go directly to the lower gutter instead of all over the 1st floor roof. The contractor working on my house did a great job of communicating to me what he thought the root causes were. He also took the time to answer my questions about how siding/flashing when installed correctly is supposed to keep water flowing out away from the house rather than into it. He even showed this to me with leftover materials so I could visually see it. After seeing how it worked, I'm more hopeful that we've finally fixed our leak. So is my leak fixed? I won't really know until we get some really heavy/windy rain storms. It usually resurfaces within a year or two. Since it is yet to be determined, I left the quality as N/A, but I feel pretty good about this fix.
