Overall the work went very well. The work done on the house was broken up over three parts during the summer, and the first part was dealing with the original issues I had discussed with the contractors (repairing the water damage around the front door and in the basement under the door). Even including finding additional water damage that we had not foreseen, that work was done in a timely manner. They were very communicative when additional surprises arose. I also thought they were very responsive to issues and concerns I had while the work was being done. They did a good job of cleaning up once the work was complete. The second and third parts of the work grew out of finding that the water damage was more extensive than originally believed (it couldn't be seen until the vinyl siding was removed), and they were able to work me into their schedules for coming back to deal with what needed to be done. Now that everything is done, I have not seen any wetness in the basement wall under the front door, even on the rainiest of days, and I am confident that the front windows are equally sealed up.

CLIFF IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL GUY HE WAS ON TIME EXTREMELY NEAT AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON TIME AND ON BUDGET. IT LOOKS GREAT! HE ALSO TALKED TO ME ABOUT SOME ADDITIONAL WORK THAT HE THOUGHT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND EXPLAINED TO ME WHY IT WAS IMPORTANT. I HAD SEVERAL CONTRACTORS COME OUT AND GIVE ME BIDS AND TALK TO ME LIKE I WAS 5..CLIFF TREATED ME LIKE I KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT...EVEN IF I DIDN'T...AND MY DOG, LEVI LIKED HIM THAT IS THE BEST JUDGE OF CHARACTER THERE IS!

I was prepping my house for sale and didn't have time to complete all the things I wanted done. Cliff was recommended to me by my dad, who had a good experience with him. Cliff came out and we did a walk-through where I detailed everything I wanted done before I could put my house on the market. Cliff came back quickly with a quote and worked with me over the phone on Easter Sunday to make sure I was happy and comfortable with the price. While I was away, he completed all of the outside work, i.e. stained/sealed the back deck, power washed the front of the house, and painted all of the shutters, frames, etc. He even took the time to hammer in the nails on my gutters while he was up there, even though we didn't discuss that. On the inside, he completely rebuilt the frame on my front door window and painted the door. That came out looking outstanding. Painted and repaired the drywall throughout the house. Installed a lower window sash that needed repaired. Even took an extra minute to install a new doorbell that I had never gotten around to.

cliff responded timely to come to my home for an estimate of the window installation even though this was a 30+ mile one way trip. he was friendly and respective of my home and family at all times. his estimate was several hundred dollars lower than a prior estimate. when he came to prep the area for installation of the window, i mentioned the drywall repairs. no problem.. the crew he brought in for the window install were very professonal and knowledgable. once the window was set. the trim and finish was completed the following day. the work to the interior wall along with the finished interior of the window on the adjacent wall has my living room looking better than new... as soon as money allows, i plan to have a bow window installed in my kitchen..i will not hesitate to hire rescue 1 again. 4 stars thanx cliff for the help..

Cliff Berman is a lifesaver. I was in the final stages of a massive third-story renovation project when my wife and I got new jobs out of state and had to sell our home and relocate. We had done all the work ourselves up until that point, but we now had to find somebody that was capable of not only doing the wide variety of tasks left, but also able to complete those projects in a similar manner and style that we had established throughout the rest of the house. I was able to schedule all the other sub contractors myself, but we had to leave town before the work was completed, and that's where Cliff was able to really come through for us. He first started with a very complete written estimate ( for labor only) that was reasonable and even broke it down into smaller segments so we had the flexibility to modify certain aspects within the whole scope of work. Even before he was scheduled to start, he came to the house repeatedly to check on the progress of the others and gave us updates almost daily on how things were looking. He started working on his projects as soon as he could, and continued to monitor the progress of the others. We made it clear in the beginning that we were selling the house and that we needed to spend as little as possible to get it ready for the market, and Cliff was really able to stretch our money and gave us exactly what was need to finish the new construction in such a way that blended with the previous (and much more expensive) renovations. I would have liked to have given him a much larger budget to work with for materials and paint to see what his full potential could have been, but this was not that kind of project now and he did wonderful job within the limits we gave him. The results were fantastic, the job was done promptly, and Cliff was able to handle everything we threw at him. We constantly thought of new things that we forgot about in our hast to relocate, and Cliff was always accommodating. From cleaning up messes that others had left behind to fixing damage caused by the movers, Cliff was there for us and treated our home with respect and cared for it like it was his own. We felt like we could trust him from the very start, and will hire him again without a second thought.

I had initially hired Cliff to do some home repairs and upgrades to a home we just purchased prior to us moving in. He took off panels in my dining room, repaired the dry wall and prepared the walls for painting. He removed panel mirrors is our master bathroom, repaired and replaced the drywall (where needed) and preped the walls for painting. He was the first person I called once we moved in and he has done everything else from moving electrical units, hanging mirrors, sconces etc., installing screens and other misc. home odds and ends. He built an amazing shelf unit for our Media center in our basement that matched perfectly all of the existing wall unit structures, made and installed door units to conceal equipment in our master bedroom and is building out a brick paver extension for our outside grill. You name it, Cliff can do it!!
