Ramos Roofing & Remodeling

We initially had Ramos come out to inspect the shed roofs. Erin Maloney did the inspection. She looked at the house roof and sheds and found some weather damage. She encouraged us to have our insurance company out to examine. We ended up getting our main roof replaced with our sheds and the insurance paid. I appreciated her thoroughness and her communication throughout the project. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Erin or Ramos out to fix any other problems we may have.

Installation of our roof took a day. The crew was efficient & respectful. They did a great job with the installation and clean up. But our contact person was Erin Mahoney & she was AMAZING, from our first contact, to the call & follow up with the insurance company to the follow up after the job was done, she was the very best!! I love our new look/ new roof & look forward to the next big storm with our new gutters!!

Karl Rabold and the whole crew did a great job roofing our home, start to finish. You and your crew were professional, courteous and had a concern for our satisfaction that far exceeded our expectations. We had recently put in a new concrete driveway and Karl and his crew went the extra mile by placing plywood boards down to protect our new driveway. Ramos Roofing was exceptional to work with. We are selling our home and had timelines we needed to adhere to. The team was responsive, provided great follow up and met every deadline they said they would. The roof looks great and we're very pleased with the finished product! I would recommend this company to others and will use them again if needed in our next home!

They were able to tear off two layers of roof and put a new one on in a one day and two hours time span. Rob was very professional and quick with response time. Definitely recommend!

They were doing a job for one of my neighbors, and Ramos manager asked if we had anything that needed done. I showed him the soffit and we agreed on a price. He said that he would get me a copy of the agreement in writing. They were slow in getting back to me (2 weeks), but eventually did and we set up a time for the work. The carpenter called me the day befor and the day of to let me know when he would be there. He repaired the problem to my satisfaction.

The team that arrived did a quick and thorough job replacing the roof. They had to remove the old one, replace all the materials serving as the foundation upon which to place the shingles, and do the flashing. They were friendly and hard working. The job was done in the amount of time estimated. I'd been given several options on the color of the shingles, but I wanted guidance and Derek was helpful. He also made me aware that when Mr. Roofs of Ohio does a job, any and all the current code specifications are met at no extra charge, no matter what type of roof is being repaired or replaced- this assures the customer that he's not getting the cheapest, most basic job. Derek explained things in a way that I was able to understand. 
What impressed me: 1. Derek came back a few days after the job was done. He personally went back up on the roof to make sure the job met HIS satisfaction. I didn't ask him to do this- he followed up voluntarily. 2. My neighbors needed a new roof, and Derek's company went up to examine their roof and give an estimate. Apparently my neighbors had already had a few companies come out to give estimates. When Mr. Roofs of Ohio's team went up, they immediately came down and said they recognized evidence of someone "tampering" with the roof to make it appear that there was damage. Apparently this happens- to gain business some dishonest contractors have been known to deliberately damage what's currently there in order to get business, and it can be quite obvious to experienced companies when this has occurred, and MY roofing company recognized it! They made my neighbors aware immediately, and an investigator from my neighbor's insurance company was sent to determine if this was indeed the case. She confirmed that a fraudulent company had tried to gain a job by attempting to destroy part of the roof. The investigator was a SIU Field Investigator from the Special Investigation Unit of the home owner's insurance company my neighbors use (I'm not naming the insurance co. of my neighbor because it's their business, not anybody else's). I only found out about this because the investigator came to my house to inquire about my experience with Mr. Roofs of Ohio, since it was they who found this condition; she wanted to rule out Mr. Roofs of Ohio as the perpetrator of the crime. I assured her I was completely satisfied with my experience with Mr. Roofs of Ohio.  
1 more thing- I experienced some leaking in another area of my house just recently- within the last month- we're talking about 10 months later. This time, water was coming into the kitchen through the soffit, and I was afraid the gutter or roof was the culprit. Perhaps an ice dam, or something. Derek didn't hesitate to come out. He didn't find anything. I ended up finding out that unfortunately, a drain under the upstairs shower was the source of this water issue (it's exciting around here), so I had to deal with a plumbing issue- but Derek didn't hesitate to come out at no charge when I called! Nobody ignored my calls or failed to be responsive to any question or issue I ever had! I have recommended this company to my neighbors and friends and have shared their info with the Westerville Area Real Estate Association, as I'm a Realtor and serve as the tour director and member there since 2014.

Work was performed very timely and professionally.  Very thorough job.  Contractor held price despite finding some material surprises during tear off of old roof.  Made a complicated job look easy.

The work went very well.All workers in my home were very pleasant and seemed to work very hard. They seemed very knowledgeable about what they did.They kept to a very good schedule and were done when they said they would be.

The service was impeccable professional in every aspect I would be more than happy to refer any of my family or friends to this company. I had constant contact with the owner Robert, and he was a pleasure to work with.

I met with them in late October 2013 to discuss my roof needs and had them give me a quote. The sales rep, Nick, came out to check out the condition of my roof at my convenience, which was after normal business hours because of my work schedule. Nick was very courteous and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain my options and the scope of work needed to repair/replace my roof. He wrote up a very detailed quote which I was then able to submit to my insurance company for authorization. They did all of this knowing that I had no intention of having my roof replaced until this spring when the weather broke. The owner, Robert Ramos, authorized Nick to hold the quoted rate for six months until I felt comfortable having the roof replaced. He then sent his guys over to tarp my roof to hold it as secure as possible until spring.
As soon as the weather broke, I contacted Mr Roofs of Ohio to get my roof replaced and spoke with Robert Ramos. He came out to my home, again after normal business hours, to meet with me to make sure that I did not have any additional work needed and to schedule the roof to be replaced. He collected the deposit at that time and scheduled a day for his guys to come that would be convenient for me. His crew arrived on the scheduled day at the appointed time and got right to work. The roof was completely torn off and replaced in one day, to the delight of my neighbors. All of the debris was cleaned up and removed before they left. My new roof looks amazing!! :)
Robert Ramos called that night and came back over the day after my roof was replaced to make sure that everything looked good and that I was satisfied with the workmanship of his crew. He went over the warranties at that time with me and helped me file the additional paperwork with my insurance company. This was the most professional crew I have had over to work on my home. Everything about my experience was good, from the professionalism of the staff, the lack of pressure to get the work done when I felt comfortable, the timeliness and quality of the work of the field guys, to the following up that was done by the owner of the company. I will definitely recommend this company to all of my neighbors and friends and want all of the Angie's List people to know that this is definitely a great company to use!

Our first interactions with their representative was both professional and we felt they were the right choice for our needs. From then on contacting them and getting any information for installation. We had given them the amount they asked in the beginning for purchasing the needed supplies. Then we began to think we had been cheated by some non-existent company. We went forever with no communication and they did not answer our calls. After a long period of time the installation was scheduled. The work itself was excellent. The workers work constantly during the very hot day. They finished the entire job in one day and it looks wonderful. We still have not had the damage repaired in our kitchen. A representative came to the house with a sample window they would be using and we contacted for that and gave the man the money needed for that job. Since that time we have had 3 different contractors come in to look at the job and say they were making sure the measurements were correct before placing the order. It is now November 19 and we have given up. The owner of the business, Rocky, contacted us twice since the beginning of this and promised it would be taken care of. As of now half of the dry wall in and around the winder has been removed, there is no insulation and the damaged wood has not been replaced.
On the grand scale of things, I would NEVER recommend this company do to their owner and representatives. They are undependable and since our original contact with them we have had 3 different people come to our house to and quot;checkand quot; the damage since they had not been the original contact. Their roofers were excellent, professional, courteous and friendly and if I would rate them independent from their employer, I would give them an excellent.

There was wind damage from a storm earlier this summer to my roof. Their representative came over to my home, took one look and knew the damage was enough to contact my insurance company. From the time we contacted the insurance company, until the work was completed was about 18 days. It was completed on time, within budget and excellent work. Their team was on time, professional and complete.
I would recommend them to all of my neighbors. Excellent work.

After the last wind storm in June I had severe damage to my roof.
Chad Mayes was working in the neighborhood and stopped to talk to me.
I am by nature very wary of people but I agreed with Chad that my roof had damage.
We called my insurance company to start a claim and to arrange for an inspector to come out.
The inspector came out on Monday the 8th and agreed that the roof needed replaced.
The inspector explained what would happen and that hiring the contractor was up to me and that I would have the check ASAP.
I received the check on Tuesday. I then called Chad to express some concerns I had. He thought it would be best if Mr. Ramos came out to address my fears. I am almost 65 and have read absolute horror stories about home repair scams.
After talking to Robb for a while I could tell he knew what he was doing and he explained exactly how the work would go.
The roofing materials were delivered exactly when he said and at 8 am on Saturday morning his crew arrived and let me know they were there. They proceeded to put tarps over the outside ac unit, deck and shrubs for protection. Chad stopped by to verify that I was satisfied the workers were doing what they were supposed to be doing.
They proceeded to tear off the old roof checked for problems, then started to put down the new shingles.
They kept the noise and debris to a minimum. Before they left they cleaned up, checked the yard for any missed debris, even ran a magnet around the house checking for nails.
At 5pm the workers completed the job.
The entire crew was very professional and courteous from start to finish.
Chad came by about 6 to verify everything had gone ok and to inspect again.

I had a lot of damage from the huge wind storm including a number of shingles blown off and I couldn't get any of the very busy well-known roofers to return my call. One of the owners of Mr. Roofs was passing through my neighborhood and saw the damage and offered to work with my insurance company to get me a new roof and put tarps over the damaged part of my steep two story roof immediately. I'm not sure if I got the best price since they basically charged me what my insurance company estimated the cost to replace a roof to be, but the owners were very involved and responsive so I guess with the quality of customer service I have no complaints. As with most roofing companies, you're only as good as the crew that you use and they had a great one. Be sure to ask for Daniel. The owner and the co-owner stopped by throughout the job to make sure that everything was being done properly and I couldn't have asked for a better job. I got the timberline HD shingles and they look fabulous. They also refastened my poorly mounted gutters at no extra charge. They did a great job cleaning up. We've had some pretty strong rain since the roof was installed and there are no leaks. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

First had problems with nails, razor-sharp pieces of flashing left in yard (where my kids play). Roof began leaking almost immediately after work was completed. Had them out multiple times to diagnose the leak and they just put caulk all over the roof. Roof continued to leak. They blamed the siding for the leak. Called another roofer to come check out the job and they said M.R. Roofs had used old flashing in some spots and had put the vent on backwards so it slopes the wrong way with the roof.
