Radon Systems is a locally, family owned company, conveniently located in Westerville, Ohio. Radon Systems has been in the business of protecting home-owners and businesses from the dangers of radon and indoor air pollution since 1977 throughout the Ohio Region. With over 40 years of experience, we are the oldest in Ohio. Radon Systems is proud of its reputation of prompt, reliable service, quality installations, and attention to detail. Our primary service is Radon Reduction and Vapor Intrusion. We are proud to work with homeowners, real estate transactions, business and commercial properties. In our company, we have fully licensed Radon Specialists (radon testing and mitigation) with more than 50 years’ of combined experience in radon gas testing & mitigation. All Radon Systems technicians have been professionally trained to properly install radon mitigation systems as required in the U.S. EPA Radon Mitigation Standards.

Description of Work: There was a radon system in my house when I bought it. A few years ago the motor went out and I contacted this company as their contact info was on the equipment. Fall of last year, the motor wasn't working right so they replaced it. It was under warranty so it cost me nothing. They've always been very nice to work with. Definitely will continue to call them for radon removal needs.

Description of Work: Called with general questions regarding radon measurement and mitigation. Spoke directly to Dan who answered my call right away. Dan was professional, courteous, and honest. He recommended that we test the radon levels ourselves (short term and long term test, if needed) and then call him should we find that we need tp talk further about radon mitigation options. I appreciated Dan's recommendations and honesty and would not hesitate to use his business for radon mitigation in our home if we find that it is needed after testing.

Description of Work: We called a couple companies for estimates. Radon Systems was slightly higher, but we were impressed with the quality of the explanation of what would be done and what to expect. After the evaluation we were able to set an appointment within a couple weeks. Technicians came at 8:30 (as promised) and installed a fan and a sub-slab suction system drawing from three points (one basement, two in crawl spaces), leaving an adapter in case they need to add an additional pipe in the future. They left a radon meter and were gone by noon. Five days later the meter was picked up and read. Our radon levels had dropped from 20 to just under 4, which is the guaranteed level. They recommend we have our radon levels tested again in the winter when the house is closed up longer, and if the levels are higher than 4 they will come out at no additional charge and do whatever needs to be done to get the level within the limits.
