The job went smoothly and was completed on time.

Excellent! Our rating fell from a 14 to a 4. Since I use the basement for a workout room, this lower rating was a must. The service team was polite, respected our dog (!) and were clean during the install (paper booties on feet to keep my carpet clean) and after (cleaned up all left over materials). The service team called before arriving and kept the agreed upon appointment time. I forgot to tell them I was an Angie's List member and still got the great service.

It was easy to make a appointment. They gave the test first and if you do the service they don't charge for a test. It was easy to set up an appointment, they were prompt, quiet and courteous. They get the work done. They test again and if they have to come back, there will not be any more costs.

They were very polite and helpful. They told me I could get a test kit at a local store and do the test myself to save myself some money. If the test showed a problem then they would need to come out.

They were on time. They were professional. They were courteous and kind. I thought their price was fair. The quality of their work was excellent. Their responsiveness was very good.

Very good experience. The estimator showed up on time (always appreciated) and was very professional about what they would do. The installers showed up on time also and worked very hard for most of the afternoon. The installation looks great. They were very neat and cleaned up afterwords. They showed me what they had done and explained how the system worked. I would recommend this company to anyone needing to have this done.

Dan came out to give me a quote in September of 2007 and offered me two alternatives as well as a 5% Angie's List discount. Although we hadn't tested for radon yet, he told me about a home test kit which was substantially less expensive than the Radon Systems $150 test. I got the test kit at Home Depot and spent about $30 to get somewhat less accurate results which confirmed what I already expected; we have radon! In early March of 2008 we decided to move forward with the installation of the system and it was super easy to get an appointment. The person in the office was very nice and professional. The guys who showed up were here for about three hours and did their thing without needing anything from me.

I asked Dan west to come and speak to me after one of his employees wrote up an estimate. I was glad I did because he pointed out that my basement which has a wall down the center and a footer down the center which meant that I needed two pipes sucking on either side and not just one. In my old home, the radon systems was not ever put in properly so his special attention meant a lot to me. For people considering radon litigation, this is the only company I recommend. It is extremely important to have radon litigation done.

Prior to refinishing my basement, I purchased a home radon testing kit and received the test results which indicated that my home exceeded the EPA limit. for radon. I checked Angie's List and selected Radon Systems from the list. The choice was based on the high number of positive reports found on the list. I contacted Dan West via email on a Friday and he came out on the following Monday to do an on site inspection. He emailed a proposal the same evening. Since I had a system installed in another state, I was familiar with the process and had some questions which Dan was able to answer. Due to a cancellation, the crew installed the system the following Wednesday. They were on time, efficient and professional. The installation was finished in three hours. However, the electrician was delayed and came 4 hours after the installers were finished. However, he kept us updated on his arrival time. Two days later, the test results verified that the radon was fully mitigated.

I decided on another very highly rated company. The decision between companies was very close, and hinged upon the type of warranty and how it applied to our particular living situation and plans for this house.

This system was installed as a result of our home purchase which is why there is no dollar amount on the entry. I believe typical cost of this install would have been around $1500. The system was installed quickly and works well as proven by the test they run after installing the system. The system consists of sealing the sump pump, and putting plastic over our crawlspace and installing a fan to draw the Radon out of our home. Very pleased with the work done and if I ever have problems will call them for service.

They were excellent, very professional and courteous. We no longer have radon, so that speaks for itself!

First guy came over to make an estimate. He told us the options and where the pipe/fan would be located at the southeast corner of the garage, far away from any bedroom windows. However, the installers said that the work couldn't be done as estimated because the first guy had diagrammed the space wrong. The two options they gave were to send the pipe very close to the SE BR window - barely the 10 ft required by code - or to run the pipe diagonally inside the garage, which would have required more money and delays to tear out shelves, workbench, etc. They recommended option 1; we trusted them and agreed to recommended option 1, but the fan is now just too close to the BR window so the loud fan noise makes the room uncomfortable. We called them to complain - wanting a discount (offsetting original design mistake) to redo piping through garage but were told they could do nothing. We get the impression that now they've been paid they don't really care anymore.

Brad, the sales person, was very professional and knowledgeable. Also, the two men who installed the system did a great job! We are very satisfied and would recommend the company to others.

They came to look at it, came out to test, then came follow up.

They came promptly to give the estimate. They explained what was needed clearly and gave me time to decide. The work was done on the day scheduled.

When I called this company, I specifically said that I could meet with them between 9 and 11 a.m. (their time slot) but it had to be between these times. I asked if it was possible for it to be earlier rather than later in that time frame. They could not promise me an earlier slot, but they said they could be here by 11:00 a.m. I canceled my morning plans and waited. Ten minutes before 11, they called and told me that they were going to be late. I feel robbed of my morning. I had to schedule my work around this appointment and was very specific about my needs. I canceled the appointment and I am very disappointed in their lack of concern about wasting my valuable time.

The entire process was great. The guys showed up on time, and it only took about an hour and a half. The electrician showed up later that afternoon, and was finished in about a half-hour. They were all polite, and cleaned up the job site when they were finished. I was very satisfied, and will be sure to have them install the system in our new home, too. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

I did one of the mail-in tests in my basement and came back with a level higher than 4 pCi/L. Called Radon Systems and one of their sales directors came to my house and explained the different options available. We decided were to connect the system and he gave me the estimate for it ($775). When their crew came to install the system (2 guys), I had change my mind and wanted to install it from the sump pump pit (one of the options offered) instead of the original location. They had no problem with the change of plans and the price did not change. Between the two of them sealed the sump pump pit, installed the pipes to the exterior and up to the roof and installed the fan. Their electrician came and did all the electrical connection at the same time. The whole thing took about two and a half hours. They left a computer monitoring the radon level for two days (included in the price) and then sent me the report (0.5 pCi/L). Everyone was very professional and friendly.

Over a weekend of bad storms, our sump pump failed and our finished basement flooded with water. We already have an existing radon mitigation system with this company. Radon Systems came out the next day and replaced our sump pump without any hesitation. They were fast and---as always--professional. We have used this company in the past without any problems. We have been extremely pleased with all of our work done with them. I would not hesitate to recommend them at all. Great company, excellent service, very responsive.

My levels were much less than the EPA action level so nothing was needed to be done.

Initial installation was done on 11/06/06. Work was very sloppy and the plastic pipes were not connected properly. Called the company office and expressed my dissatisfaction with the work. The women I talked to was very helpful. She agreed to send a different crew out to fix the problems. Two days later the crew arrived. They essentially redid most of what was done on 11/06. They did a much better job, all items were taken care to my satisfaction. The system is working fine, and I am happy with outcome.

They came out when they said they would. I think the estimate was fair, but I did not select the company because I had to select my own roofer and plumber for the job, and I was too busy. Estimate was $1075.

He was very helpful in light of the situation.
