I decided to go with someone else who was easier to get ahold of...

It was as painless as it could be! Rachel called me back very soon after I left a message, we set up a time a couple days later, she came out as agreed, and was done in about 15 minutes.

Very friendly. Took 3 weeks to complete the job. Stitching (quilting) on one side is not even, but I didn't notice until after she left. It doesn't seem worth following up with her about. We are able to use the other side, so it looks nice. Fabric stripes are aligned. She really transformed the look of the chair, so we are very pleased.

Her work is phenomenal and her prices are extremely good. She is a very pleasant person to work with and I will continue to use her.

She was friendly and very confident. She did an excellent job and I would use her again. The chair is beautiful.

Rachael did this repair so cheaply, I was embarrassed! She also threw in a couple arm covers in with the repair. I am very pleased with her service!

From the first call to the delivery of the chairs Rachael was great! Extremely friendly, professional, very punctual and adaptive to different schedules and time constraints, she knows her stuff! I called several other businesses before deciding Rachael was the one, my decision was based on price, quality, work ethic, and I am thrilled!

Rachael did great work and is a very fun person to have come into your home for measurements, delivery, etc. We first had her do the slip cover, which turned out beautifully. One end of the back rest cover started creeping down a bit, so Rachael came with upholstery pins (like tiny cork screws), and now it stays in place despite the fact that I sit in that corner of the couch with my toddler all the time. Rachael sets prices according to type and size of the item, but she is also flexible. We had planned to have her upholster the love-seat, but our budget was feeling tight, so I figured I'd do it myself (the original plan when I bought the fabric over a year ago). However, Rachael asked to see the love-seat, said it looked very straightforward (modular modern Dutch furniture that is easily taken apart) and that she hated to see clients not do something because money was tight, and then offered to do it for less than her usual fee.

The slipcover and drapes are wonderful. Rachael is fun to work with. She and I corresponded first via w-mail, and she advised me on fabric choices and linings. The drapes were sewed with an insulated lining to keep heat in the house in winter. Rachael said the work would be done in two weeks, and two weeks later she delivered it. I could have bought ready-made drapes, but by purchasing the fabric myself and having Rachael do the sewing, I got exactly what I wanted and for a price equivalent to what I would have paid for ready-made. Very pleased with the work.

Great experience working with Rachael- she picked up the fabric from my house, re-measured to confirm my measurements for the benches, was timely with her work, and dropped the benches off at my house. She was reasonably priced and did an excellent job.

She did an excellent job and was very prompt in performing the work. When she noticed upon delivery that some of the fabric had become caught up in a seam, she took the cover back and returned it the next day. Rachel is very pleasant to deal with and her charges are extremely reasonable. I will use her services again if I have other home sewing projects.

Rachel did a wonderful job reupholstering two chairs. She found a small flaw in the fabric on one chair and ripped it apart and redid it. She went above and beyond her contract by fixing some zippers on some cushions that my husband inadvertantly broke. I was really pleased and will love doing business with her in the future.

Rachael did such an incredible job! She recommended a web site where I could buy fabric, and she purchased the foam wholesale and gave it to me at cost. She drove to our house to pick up the fabric and cushions, and returned to our home 2 weeks later with 14 brand new cushions for our porch furniture. She only charged us $25 in labor per cushion, which was about 50% cheaper than the next lowest bid I received from a fabric/furniture store. Rachael did a fantastic job and is such a bargain to boot. I would definitely recommend her, and plan on calling her for all of my future sewing needs.

Working with Rachel was a very pleasant experience. I will use her again for other projects.

MY THIRD EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH RACHAEL. THE PILLOW COVERS WERE READY IN JUST 4 DAYS! THEY ARE PERFECT, AND THE PRICE WAS BEYOND REASONABLE. I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING RACHAEL FOR MY NEXT PROJECT.

SHE WAS PROMPT ARRIVING TO PICK UP THE FURNITURE AND THE FABRIC. IT TOOK HER ONE WEEK TO COMPLETE THE WORK. SHE WAS PROMPT IN RETURNING THE SLIP COVERED FURNITURE. BEST PRICE THAT I FOUND. MANY PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED THAT IT LOOKS LIKE THE PIECES WERE REUPHOLSTERED, NOT JUST SLIP COVERED. LOOKS GREAT!
