This project was a huge project for my family. We had to move out of our house while it was ongoing because the renovations were so extensive (we have three young children and a dog there is no way we could have lived through it). Pomante Contractors was on time (actually early) and on budget, probably the two biggest concerns for any homeowner undergoing a massive renovation project. Jason our project manager was professional, personable and thorough. We met (for the most part) weekly to assess project timeline and how things were going. He was helpful in making suggestions when questions arose concerning selections or design. We could not be more happy with our "new" home. PCI gave us the home that we have always wanted for our family. Any concerns throughout the project were discussed and addressed in a very timely manner. I would absolutely recommend Pomante and am so happy we chose them to do our project.

My husband and I were very hesitant to trust another contractor as we had been disappointed several times. After meeting with Bo Pomante we were immediately excited to get our addition started. Bo is very knowledgable, personable, and was able to answer all of questions. Our new space has exceeded our expectations as Pomante was also able to provide us with ideas we hadn't had before we began our project. Overall, we would highly recommend Pomante Contractors as they provided us with an affordable, amazing, and trustworthy experience!

Job was started and completed in a timely and precise manner. Have had no problems at all with any of the work or materials, We did not go over budget. I would highly recommend them. We will certainly use them again when we need any work done They were very professional and cleaned up after they worked every day. Great company.

We thought the work had been done satisfactorily until October 2015 when the roof started leaking in one of the apartments in the building.  We reached out to Pomante beginning Oct. 2, 2015.  After giving us the run-around and trying to blame the problem on windy weather, and trying to charge us $250 for someone to come out and look at the problem, they finally sent a contractor out to look at the problem.  This contractor found that there was a problem with the flashing that was not properly sealed when the roof was put on.  He was to report his findings to "Bo" Robert Pomante the owner and Bo would be in touch with us.  We have been waiting and made several attempts to phone Bo and have him get in touch with us, with no response.  We also believe we paid for a 30 year roof.  Because we have tenants in the apartment we had to hire another contractor to repair the roof and the inside of the apartment where water damage was done.  This contractor informed us that the roofing was not 30 material but 20 year material.  We had to spend over $500 to repair this problem which was caused by faulty work by Pomante Contractors.  Today is November 18th and we still have not received a call from Bo or Robert.  We have left 4 or 5 messages with no response at all.
We used this contractor to apply a roof to our own residence as well.  We like the service that we received there and decided to give our business to who we thought was a reliable contractor.  This has not been the case with our rental unit.  We will be contacting our attorneys as well as the Better Business Bureau concerning this matter.

We were pleased with final product. Most of the subcontractors were professional and did quality work. The owner, Bo, is knowledgeable and was good to work with. The biggest plus was that he lives in the area and was usually accessible . Upstairs bathroom was gutted...bathtub moved to end of room...new doorway and window installed. Basement divided in two projects.. One side was a utility room with new cabinets and countertop. The others side was a media room with a wall to wall built in for TV...also had a small bar. Floor had to be leveled...new drywall throughout ...and recessed lighting. Concerns include the length of the project...it was way over time estimated. Also we were not please by the service we got from the Sims Lohman sub contractor. He was responsible for the built in unit and for the granite for bathroom and bar.. We felt his price for the built in cabinets was relatively high compared to the quality. He also made the wrong delivery on granite which added to more delays. Overall we were very displeased with his service and would never hired him to do work for us. Bo May have stopped doing business with him also. Bo did step in and brought in new workers to finally get the job done. The final pair of carpenters were experienced and excellent! Overall, this company did a nice job. I would consider using Pomante Contractor in the future..

Overall, Pomante Contractors did an excellent job on our roof.  We solicited several bids from different contractors and their bid was very competitive.  Everything was explained and presented well.  They were able to work around our schedules to get the job done in a timely manner.  The workers were friendly and hard-working.  The foreman was always available when I had questions or concerns.  A new roof isn't very exciting, but it is important and needs to be done right.  Pomante delivered.

Wnen it was pointed out to them their story was that was not on the job list. They would fix the remaining for more money.

They did a great job on gutters and siding. I then used them for the kitchen and they did a horrible job.  For the sidings they did a great job. For the kitchen, it flooded.  It flooded because the garbage disposal was broken. They came in and it took three months. They had a key and lock to my house and came whenever they wanted. No privacy in my home. They ordered the wrong cabinets. I went from nice wood cabinets to particle board that you can not get wet. They did not finish things, and did not put the baseboards back on.  I left them antique white paint for the trim and they painted it with their white so now they are white and antique white.  I talked to the owner about it and he was really rude and he said he did not know what I expected from them. At that point I had them take the key off the door and not come back.  The owner wanted the key on the door to come in and out and they never told me when people would be coming.  I finally told them I was not comfortable with it and told him it was over.  They had like one guy working by himself and he was creepy. They were not suppose to be there until 9 and he would show up at like 8 or 7 when I was not dressed. One morning I had let the dogs out and he walked into the backyard and I was still in my night gown.  During the middle of it he left on paternity leave for a month and left his foreman which is part of why it took three months.  Their address was local to my neighborhood so I wanted to support that. It turns out he was not local. 

Went like clockwork! From estimate to the one day replacement -- no mess -- very professional.

It looks great. We are happy with the work. It was a little bit pricey.

We are thoroughly satisfied. Pomante is a local company, a family operation. We know them and we like them. We had estimates from other bigger companies and they were  much higher.

On time, fullfilled installation

I plan on using Pomante again in the Spring to replace the shutters on my house. I am so happy I have found such a great, honest, professional and helpful group to work with. Bo, Dave, Rob, Bones and crew are amazing!!

This went great, had no idea who to contact to get this work done. Called Pomante on Monday 6/14, had the estimate on 6/15, they did the work on 6/17. Very pleased!

They have also done roofing. They were very good.

Requested a quote on oversize gutters/downspouts. Quote was furnished quickly Schedule was delayed due to weather and other projects -- no problem Finished job in one day Removed all trash and cleaned up very well.

They fixed my roof and my siding. They did an excellent job. They were very good with working with my insurance company and me as well. Overall my satisfaction with the work was fine.

Initially, it was difficult to reach anyone to come out and give us an estimate. Once we received the estimate and agreed to have the work done, the project went quickly. The workers seemed to want to do less than was required by digging the holes shallower and narrower than described in the estimate. One call to Mr. Pomante and things were back on track. When the job was finished, we had to wait to see if the floor would continue to sink. When it did, the workers returned and leveled it again. Once all parties involved were satisfied that the job was a success, we paid for the work.

Beau Pomante, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. He made himself available to me and made this job a high priority. Rob, the foremen, was professional, punctual, personable, knowledgeable, and did excellent work. Both Rob and Beau seemed very knowledgeable of code procedures, working with the county, and general basement remodeling. They gave me suggestions and insights that I hadn't considered and ended up choosing. I am happy with the results. I would highly recommend this company and especially Rob for any basement remodeling.

They were professional, capable and I was very pleased with the job. They stayed in contact with me so I was kept up to date on delays or change in schedule. The manufacturer delayed sending the new garage door and they made sure I understood the delay and keep me apprised. I appreciated their willingness to add to the original job by also repairing my chimney. Good job!!
