Pet Stop of Columbus

Damage was caused to the front of our house during installation of the wires. Repeatedly asked the owner,Chip,to repair it but he has not.

A little rough at first; however, Chip, the owner made everything right. He is super responsive and did not give up until everything was perfect.

Went well. We had the fence installed within 10 days of first contact. Chip came out several times afterwards to work with us and the dog, modifying his approach as he got to oknow her strong and weak points. Everything working fine in the end.

The whole process was flawless! Chip put our mind at ease with his background as well as his knowledge for his product. Sandy (and the rest of the office staff) is always helpful whenever I call the office. The installers were professional, prompt and clean.

Chip was really great to work with.  He completed all of the work on time and the price was very reasonable.  He really understands dogs and had a good approach to training our two on the fence boundaries.

Chip with Pet Stop is amazing!!  We were able to get our appointment for consult and the installation of the fence scheduled when we wanted it.  He was on time and completed the work expeditiously.  He came out 4 or 5 times after that to help train our dogs on the fence, making the appropriate adjustments to make sure they were getting the appropriate correction and made sure everything was in working order.  He also gave us suggestions on how best to keep the dogs trained on the fence, as well as just just basic dog training information that has helped us train our dogs.  We also mentioned how we had wanted a "dog door" but were afraid that raccoons, etc. would get into the house.  He told us about an electronic dog door that they provide that would be perfect for us.  We are going to have him install that as well.  
With respect to the fence, we have now had it for about 8 months and it is perfect!  Our dog Barney has never gone outside of the fence and knows exactly where his boundaries are.  We recently got a new 4 month old puppy. Chip came out, got us set up with a collar for him and set up the appropriate correction level.  We told Chip we thought one visit from him this time would be good and he was totally fine with that.  He told us to call him in a couple of days and he would help us adjust the correction for Moose so it would be effective.  He also told us to call him on his cell phone if we ever had problems or questions.  He has always been more than willing to go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and everything is working properly.  He is a very friendly man and very reliable.  I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to make their lives easier by having their dogs contained in their own yard.  It is well worth the money.  You will not be disappointed if you choose Pet Stop of Columbus.

I wasn't too fond of the guy who originally came out to do the work. He was kind of rude. He didn't seem to have communicated with the installer at all because when he came out to install it he had no plan written up and had no idea of how he was going to install it. The owner was supposed to come back like 3 or 4 times to train our dog, but he only came out twice. It was cheaper than a lot of places and the fence was installed the way it should've been. We ended up just training our dog off the leash ourselves.

I am very happy with the product and the service. They were responsive to phone calls, easy to work with on scheduling, installed the fence with a minimum amount of yard damage and provided multiple training sessions for me and my puppies. They had a thorough knowledge of dog breeds and temperaments and worked with my dogs within their personalities. I am extremely satisfied with the company and the product. I only rated punctuality as a B due to a couple of minor glitches and changes in schedules. Overall a great experience! I won't hesitate to call them with any future needs.

They were fantastic. When the battery went out on the collar, they sent new batteries right away. Their follow-up has been good, and they even assisted us in finding a new home for our German Sheppard as well as selecting a smaller dog from a shelter. He gave us advice on having a dog that we could cope with, and their training was good. However, I could have done with a bit more time on the training. Their rates were reasonable, and I would definitely use them again.

From my initial contact with Chip and Sandi Golden until now I have experienced nothing but total customer satisfaction. Chip originally came out and gave me an estimate on the system. I had three other estimates scheduled and after my time spent with Chip I canceled the other estimates and went with Pet Stop. I was comfortable with his pricing but most importantly, I was comfortable and extremely confident in Chip's ability to train my beloved pets on the system. The installation by Stacey was fast, professional and clean. I was surprised at how neat it all looked afterward. Stacey has always showed up in a timely manner for service and been helpful and friendly. Chip spent so much time training my dogs on the system in a gentle and effective way. All of my worries and concerns were addressed in a patient and caring manner and my dogs are happy and safe. Every contact I had with Sandi scheduling appointments or requesting batteries or service was pleasant and prompt. Sandi always makes the customer feel like they are the number one priority. I recently added an additional dog to my family and again contacted Pet Stop. As usual, they came right out, provided the equipment at a reasonable price and trained my dog on the system. Service with Pet Stop doesn't stop after the sale. It continues until the customer is totally satisfied, the dogs trained and the job is done right. Chip has also trained my new dog and I am thrilled with his expertise and patience and willingness to ALWAYS answer questions, come out quickly and provide guidance. No question is silly or disregarded and he always takes the time to explain his methods. Of course, contacting the office and speaking with Sandi is still a pleasure and makes everything so easy. I can't say enough about this company and the people that proudly own it. Impeccable service all around. Having used their product and services for the last year and a half, I can emphatically say I would recommend them to anyone.

Outstanding. Chip was professional and precise. Installation was done in some very bad weather in December, and the installation was clean and professional. But what we are most impressed with was Chip's true love of dogs. He got to know the individual animals and made sure the fence was properly adjusted. We could not have done this without Chip's expertise. Dogs are now comfortable with going in the front yard and not running away. We highly recommend Chip's company.

His estimate was $600 over a competitor's and it appeared to me that he was in it for the money. I used a different company and was glad I did.

Our experience with Chip, Sandy and Aaron has been fantastic. They are wonderful to deal with-responsive, professional and true animal lovers. I highly recommend them.

After calling several companies who wouldn't repair a competitor's product (we had moved and had no idea who did the initial installation), they came out and were happy to do it. They repaired several cuts in the line and replaced the 25 feet of wiring that had been shredded during my neighbor's new privacy fence installation. The job was done the same day I called and my fence was working within several hours. The salesman recommended that I install a new system with their "pet-friendly" collars for $500 - which comes with a lifetime warranty. If I was to upgrade, I would definitely use this company.
