The sales and scheduling was great, A+. The painters were unprofessional. They didn't listen to me or pay attention to what I told them or what they were doing. Their dropcloths were full of paint that got onto my newly installed floors. The trim painting was sloppy. They painting the ceiling to a room that wasn't supposed to be painted which caused all types of problems. Required 2 punch lists to get the painting completely finished. Found paint spatters on the floor after they left each day. I was so disappointed. They didn't care about the quality of their work. They just "wanted to get out of my hair." Their words, not mine. By the time they were done, I wanted them out of my house. My neighbor used the company twice and was so pleased with them, I took their bid (the highest by the way). All their painters are subcontractors, so it's the luck of the draw. In this instance, I didn't get what I paid for.

This was a big expensive job and unfortunately the trim part was done poorly. It has not even been a year since we have had this done and there are chips EVERYWHERE. We have also noticed (of course after the initial run through) that there are only one coat on some of the trim in areas that are harder to see- it’s terrible. Had them out once to fix area where the paint didn’t even adhere (most likely because they didn’t sand well enough) but now more and more chips, even just from cleaning and dusting baseboards. The thing I am most upset about is the chipping that has happened in the kitchen on the cabinets. We have tried to have them come out one more time to show what this looks like but haven’t been able to get prompt responses. We will end up just doing all these repairs ourselves to make sure the work is actually done with quality and care. 16k is a lot of money to spend and very upsetting this is how it has turned out.

"This customer has been challenging from the start and we have maintained communication and returned several times. They accused us of damaging a toilet which we had nothing to do with, and we still fixed it in good faith. The customer didn't let areas dry/cure as directed causing some issues but we have gone above and beyond to make them happy. After a recent review the concerns are minimum at best and have agreed to return."

Every step in the process was professional, from the initial call to the estimator to the painters. The estimator offered advice on the best color and sheen to hide the imperfections in plaster walls. Two painters arrived on time, and both were super friendly. I had expected the work to take all day, but they were done in 4-5 hours. And they didn't mind being supervised by a curious cat. Great service, great work from start to finish.

Paint 4 You was recommend to us by several friends. From start to finish the experience was great. We received a quick and fair quote on Saturday. The job was completed the following week in one day - which included 2 coats of paint! Everyone was friendly and very professional. Highly recommend this painting company compared to others we have used in the past!

The quote given was reasonable.  Once we accepted the bid, they arrived within two days to complete the work.  All work was done quickly and professionally.  Cleanup was complete.  They were in and out within four hours.  We are very pleased with the work done.

It went great!  We had a dining room that had a lot of faux paint on the walls.  We were painting a much lighter color on the walls and although we were concerned it would would difficult to cover the texture and color.... they did it.  It looks great.  The bathroom was painted a new color also and turned out fine.  It was so nice to have the two guys come in and get this job accomplished in a matter of a few hours.  We have used Paint 4 You for an exterior job and now this interior job.  I would use them again.

The work was scheduled to take 1 day - took 6+ days and the work performed looks TERRIBLE!! They cut into the J-channel of a couple of Windows, and refused to correct the issue; they cut several boards crooked and tried to correct by adding 1/4" + of caulking; painted but missed places around Windows; left paint brush bristles in the paint on the trim; didn't apply caulking correctly in several areas, splattered paint on deck & window panes as well as on paver bricks. One Sunday the painter showed up with his "Uncle" to work on my house - the sales representative assured me anyone working on my house was a company employee who had been licensed, insured and background checked - doubt the "Uncle" was any of those things!!

"We are sorry to hear about Mrs. [Memnber Name Removed]'s feelings. Upon beginning the project we discover pre existing conditions with the initial window/wood installation and explained this to her. We feel we proceeded with the work already behind the eight ball and tried to do the best we could with what we had discovered. Our initial wood replacement was not to our standards due to the conditions so we completely reinstalled all the wood to achieve industry standards. After Mrs. [Member Name Removed] returned from being out of town for several days, we reviewed the final product, offered to take care of a few minor touch ups but were refused the opportunity to remedy. They power washed the house on a Friday and began working on Sunday (we did not mind what day of the week they worked on).  They worked for 2 days and did a great job.  We would use them again for interior or exterior.

Completed the trim work satisfactory. Porch floor was not satisfactory; just 6 months later porch floor showed foot traffiic and explained to Contractor that paint used was trim paint but representative disagreed even though he agreed that work should be redone. Paint 4 U suggested that I could pay cost for paint and their labor charges for the rework of the porch. I disagreed and will do the porch myself. Also the header over the garage is now bubbling and needs to be redone but Paint 4 U will not do work and stand behind their company. We also asked for foundation around house and garage apron to be painted using an appropriate product. The apron is peeling but the company representative said that the wrong product was used So I have paid for work that has not even lasted 6-9 months and they view this as satisfactory and not their problem This is a very unsatisfactory job
Response from Paint 4 You
"We at Paint 4 You are sorry to hear about Mr P's unsatisfactory feelings. As stated in his report, he is happy with the painting of the trim and the majority of the project. Decks are always challenging and in this case we correctly applied the proper deck stain to his flooring. There are no warranty's on any horizontal surfaces and or decks and this is boldly written on the contract he signed. When we reviewed his concerns, we noticed surface dirt, stains and scratches that were present and caused by a moving furniture and several planters with soil/dyed mulch and water residue. These are the reasons for the visual concerns and there is nothing we can do in our application nor product use to prevent them. We offered a reasonable solution to split the cost to clean and re-coat his deck but customer refused. The other concerns are caused by gutter and water run off issues that need addressed prior to re coating. Paint 4 You"

cThis is the second time we have used this company.  Previously, we had them do some interior painting and exterior painting.  We worked with the same salesman, who was very knowledgeable and flexible as we changed our mind about having them remove wallpaper!  They did that quickly and efficiently, so it was worth the money.  They did a great job painting all the rooms--the project leader was in touch with us a couple of times during the work and the two men doing the work were efficient and professional.  We were very happy with the work they did for a second time and will have them back when we need them again!

Started off poor. Was told that I would be contacted with in a couple days to get scheduled. After not hearing from them for a week I contacted my sales rep Michael Byne who then told me they made a change at the office as how they handle scheduling and I would hear from them shortly. In that time I had to remind him that we would need color matching help (we had already spoke about when contract was signed). I then received contact from the owner who I believe was Rich (might not have that correct) about scheduling. He did try to reach me a few times, but was out of town on work. I was then handed off to the actuall painter who would be handling the job. Her name was Jane and did a good job of following up with me to get it scheduled. So when I started I was told I would have just two people to deal with and already was at 3. Then on the first day of painting Jane showed up with her crew and we worked on matching the colors. This was more difficult than I thought it would be, but she purchases some samples for us to try on the walls and worked out great. They did the interior first and started on the exterior later that day. So then we get to my main issue. The shutters I have on the front were to be removed and painted behind them and replaced. I had 3 total quotes from painters for this job and spoke to each of them about removing the shutters. That Saturday they were painting the front when I was told that it was difficult to remove the shutters and replace due to the type anchor they had. I told Jane that this was addressed with Michael during the first visit. So we called all 3 people invoived, Rich the owner (his reply was check with Dustin) Dustin the project manager and Michael the sales rep. Received a call back from Michael and was basically told I was wrong and we didn't talk about that. Then he said the wood was protected by the shutters and would be ok. Well my shutters have slats and are not flush with the hardy plank, so they do not protect the wood. I decided at that point it was not worth the hassel of dealing with Michael and moved forward with the project.
The following week I spoke with 2 other neighbors who have had their homes painted with the same type shutters and both were able to be removed and replaced with no issues. So basically I was lied to and because Michael took the position it could not have possible been his error I will never use this company again. The overall quality of painting was very good and price was not the lowest, but very competitive.
Also the painters are subcontracted and not their actuall employees. Their website makes it sound like they are employees with and quot;detailed trainingand quot; and been with them for years.

Both job were done professionally and with a lot of attention to detail. The inside painter was so tolerant of having our kids around and he did a great job in one day!
Outside they were thorough in taking their time to paint everything and very polite in communicating when they would be at the house to do work and how long it would take .
The office staff was courteous and attentive in working with us to pick colors and coordinate the job.
I don't know how competitive the prices were, but we thought what we paid was reasonable for what they did and the savings in time to us!
We would use them again!
