Actually I have used them a long time and I just did not realize they were Angie’s List members until I joined.  They are very conscientious and they do an excellent job.  If for some reason they’re unable to start the job when they had planned to do it, they keep in touch.  So they keep me in the loop.  My husband wouldn’t do anything if he thought they were too expensive.  He does not over pay when he gets good quality service.

They were very good.  They were attentive to our request.  They were flexible and patient with us.  They helped me pick up  some colors; it took me awhile to make the decision but they were very helpful in making me make the decision.  They even repainted the walls when they started painting then I don't like the color.  They were always on time.  They met our expectations correctly.  Their price is reasonable and there were no hidden charges when we got started; it was just exactly what they said it would cost.  They were fast; they came back after couple of weeks to clean up the floors because I noticed that there were some residue from the tape.  They came back with no charge and clean it up.  They were nice guys and they cleaned up after themselves.  They didn't leave paint in our sinks. 

I was extremely happy with the quality and job that was done.  I love the feel of the lacquer and protection it gives the cabinets.  THey really feel like new.  I definintely will use Alan again, as he also does renovation.  I already have a few friends that want to have him come out and give a quote. He is really quick about giving a quote and his prices are really reasonable.  His price was the best I had and I believe his quality of work to be the best.

Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. Allen & crew were punctual, professional and courteous. They were also very hard-working--the painting of basically an entire house was completed in about 2.5 days (including the entire hall/stairway needing repainted because we changed our mind on the color after the fact). Cleanliness was never an issue--they made sure to tape & drape everything before painting, and when they left for the day they cleaned everything up & you could hardly tell that they had been there. Installation of the french doors went smoothly, and only took 1-2 hours a day for 3 days to get it installed & stained to match existing doors/woodwork. Allen also patched an area of our ceiling that we found to be damaged after taking down an old light fixture, even though this wasn't in the original estimate.

The experience overall was very good.  Allen and Josh were always punctual and professional.  He willingly accepted feedback and made corrections to things we noticed.  The finished product looks incredible and we are very pleased with it.  Bottom line, he did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it and did it very well.

The only slight downfall was the job took a little longer than expected, which left our house in disarray an extra weekend.  However, if that is the tradeoff for the quality of the work they did, it was well worth it.

I would definitely recommend them for this type of work.

Allen and his crew arrived punctually every morning at 7:30 a.m. (we chose the time) and didn't leave until 4:00 p.m. everyday. They were painting in our house for three weeks (huge house and tons and tons of trim). They were polite, professional and extremely accommodating to our family needs. The painting looks AMAZING! The trim is so well done and everything looks so great. They were also very clean and took great care to protect our house when they painted. Even our garage which they set up for a spray area for all the doors look like there was never painting done inside there. Our kitchen cabinets (over 20 years old) look like they are brand new. I easily saved thousands of dollars not having to replace my worn cabinets. Any errors or problems we found they immediately addressed and took care of it. We trusted them entirely in our home and would use them again without any hesitation. We're considering them for our bathroom remodeling because of how great of a job they did.

I have used them before, and they are meticulous. I like their work. There was really nothing that I disliked. They are good painters. Their prices are good, and they are dependable. They use good products.

on the built in :great job. he was always punctual. returned calls and emails immediately. he was clean and very quick with the job. love the piece he did to death. it was just as we imagined it to be. on the painting: i got a great discounted rate of 250 for the painting due to him doing the built in job. i was concerned with it because i never saw any drop clothes over the floor or my furniture, but to be fair i told him the carpet was being removed that week, and he didn't get a drop of paint on anything. he was faster than superman having it completed. my only complaint was that i specifically told him a paint brand that i wanted used and he went with something else. i didn't realize what had been used until after it was done, and again to be fair to him he did offer to go out and get the other brand and repaint, but it looked fine as it was and i declined his offer. he does great work that i would highly recommend to anyone. extremely professional and takes a lot of pride in his work, with good reason to.

Allen and crew are in demand, so plan ahead by about one-two months. Got a quote in late September and Allen said that he was scheduling about 5 weeks out then. I had also gotten a quote for some outside trim work, but I put that on hold. Allen offered the quote by room or task. I got the quote by room and the cost to change out the door hardware separately. This house had been a rental in the 1970's and 1980's, so much of the previous painting had been thick, chipped, or over wallpaper. There were drip marks and trim chips that had been bugging me for 4 years. The crew is all business - they work fast, so it's important to communicate what's important to you to do or not do. For me, it's clean lines, filling in trim and wall imperfections, cleaning up the old drips - neat and tidy. Be clear about your expectations. Allen is laid-back, so he "gets" whatever you need. Allen makes good suggestions and follows through. Always prompt and courteous with visits and phone calls.

Another great experience with Allen at Pacific Painting and Remodeling. Very creative and talented in all phases of remodeling and painting, as well as custom built-ins and trim work. Reasonable rates for fabulous work.

Allen and Allen are now my painters for life. Their attention to detail is amazing. The edge lines are razor straight. From the beginning, they arrived promptly, covered everything (they had come in at end of sawdust haven from all the remodeling) They let me know when I needed to leave the house, ahead of time, when they had to use varnish that caused strong odor. He did a sample of chocolate glaze over linen white for my final approval. Each day they cleaned up before leaving. I was impressed that they wore their respirators when dealing with fumes while doing the varnishing process. I can not stress enough how professional Allen and Allen are. Great experience. Allen is a true professional and does superb work. We ran into several unexpected problems with rotting wood, etc and he handled them all beautifully. Allen is great to work with - very patient with me picking paint colors! I would highly recommend -very reasonable prices too.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP EXHIBITED BY THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING. THEY TAKE THEIR TIME AND DO IT RIGHT. OUR WINDOW SEATS ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND MUCH MORE THAN WE EVER EXPECTED. I GIVE THEM MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. THE PAINTING JOBS WERE AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS POSSIBLE. ALLEN'S WOODWORKING SKILLS ARE TERRIFIC; HIS CABINETRY IS GREAT. THEY REALLY LISTEN TO YOUR REQUESTS AND OFFER CREATIVE IDEAS. THEIR QUOTES ARE CONSISTENTLY THE LOWEST. THEY ALWAYS RETURN PHONE CALLS, LET YOU KNOW HOW LONG THINGS ARE LIKELY TO TAKE AND SHOW UP WHEN PROMISED. THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH CONTRACTORS OF ANY TYPE AND WITH A 75-YEAR OLD HOUSE, WE DO A LOT OF FIXING UP.

ALLEN AND TEAM WHICH INCLUDED HIS WIFE, DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. THE WORK INCLUDED VERY HIGH CEILINGS AND ODD ANGLES. THE WERE PROMPT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EVEN DID MANY EXTRAS INCLUDING CLEANING OUR CEILING FAN. IT TOOK THEM LESS THAN TWO DAYS TO DO THE WORK AND WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED I CAME HOME TO A BEAUTIFULLY PAINTED HOUSE THAT HAD BEEN SWEPT AND REARRANGED BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. EXCELLENT WORK!!

I RECEIVED A RECOMMENDATION FOR THIS COMPANY FROM A FRIEND WHO WAS SO PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. CONSEQUENTLY, I DID NOT TAKE ANY OTHER BIDS FOR THE WORK, SO I CANNOT SPEAK TO THE COST. IT SEEMED A LITTLE HIGH, BUT I WAS WILLING TO PAY THE PRICE TO GET A QUALITY JOB. THEY PAINTED THE WOODWORK WITH A PRIMER AND 2 COATS OF A HIGH-QUALITY OIL-BASED PAINT. THEY ALSO PRIMED AND PAINTED THE WALLS AND CEILINGS WITH 2 COATS OF QUALITY PAINT. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND THEY CLEANED UP EVERYTHING. I PLAN TO HAVE THEM PAINT THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOUSE IN THE SPRING.
