Excellent company. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Quality of work is very high. Staff always took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. Very responsive to calls and emails; always kept us informed as to scheduling. We are very satisfied and have no complaints. Would recommend without reservation. Note that the A rating we gave for price does not mean that they are inexpensive, but rather that the price is consistent with the quality of the work.

We needed some soffit repair on our 90 year old home because, well, wood doesn't last forever. We've Nicholson do some work for us before, always with outstanding results. For this job, some of the boards that needed to be replaced had a bead-board pattern that you won't find and Lowes or Home Depot. Nicholson found a place that was able to 100% match the existing pattern. Unlike other handymen I've worked with, Nicholson does as great job of letting you know when your project is going to start and when it does, the workers actually show up every day, on time. When the work was complete, it matched so well, you couldn't even see that repair work had been done! Finally, and this is a small thing, when I got the bill, the return envelope already had a stamp on it! That significant because, no matter how much you owe someone, you always end up paying for the postage. Nicholson is perhaps the only vendor in North America that provides return postage in the cost of a project.

Recently Nicholson completed a major remodel of our home in Upper Arlington. The quality of their work and service was superb --beyond compare! And so we were quite pleased to learn that their small projects and handyman division offers the same excellence, and feel quite satisfied & also relieved to have found the handyman service that we will use from now on. Nicholson Builders are entirely trustworthy, highly skilled, and just plain nice to have in your home.

They do A1 work. They will come right and do a job for you. No job is too small for them. They're very good.

I have used the Handyman and Small Projects Divisions of Nicholson Builders many times for several difficult jobs - from very simple to building items to problem solving tasks. Will continue to work with them.

It took a while to meet with the sales consultant but he was very helpful in providing some ideas and a cost estimate. I also met with a designer to finalize all the plans. She was helpful in going through all my options and making the best decisions based on my budget. The technician was excellent and made it a point to meet with me every morning to get input and provide an overview of what he was going to accomplish each day. I did experience some electrical issues with the pedant lights but the molding, casing and paneling turned out beautifully. I do think the price was a little on the high side but it was easier to go through Nicholson rather than several independent contractors. Overall, I was pleased on how everything turned out!

The Carpenter was on time worked fast and efficiently. He was done in about three hours, cleaned up the work site and was on his way.

2 workers completed the 2 protects. However, light did not work properly, another worker returned several times, replaced unit till it worked!

Everything was perfect. No complains-I'm very happy!

This is a very professional company who generically cares about the quality of their work. The planning stage through the final inspection is perfection.

Nicholson put up plastic sheets each day to try to limit the dust to the work area. They vacuumed and cleaned-up at the end of each work day. They installed new quarter-round to replace the quarter-round removed during tile removal. They painted the floor trim. Our floors now look wonderful, and we suspect we’ll have no more loose tiles. The work required 14 work days, with as many as 4 workers present during the tile removal stage. Joe, the lead technician, kept us informed about the progress. The workers were friendly and courteous to us. We enjoyed listening to the interactions between the workers; they respect each other.

Project turned out great. Al and his team were professional and hard-working. Initially, there was a mixup in the custom ordering of the window. This was resolved and handled in a professional manner. Install was smooth. Great attention to detail. Would highly recommend her for any small jobs/handyman/Major renovation projects. Good quality people. Not the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. Great work.

I could not be happier or more satisfied. They will be back soon to complete some small projects.
