Muetzel Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

I was very pleased with the work. I called in the morning, and they arrived shortly after lunch after phoning me first, prepared an estimate, and then did the work for exactly that estimate.

It has never worked that well in 35 years.

I found this company difficult to deal with. Refused to provide a quote over the phone. Insisted on personal visit to my home which they would only do during business hours and indicated they would charge me for this "consult". I only needed a simple residential water heater replaced, which other providers were willing to quote over the phone without a visit. Those that insisted on a visit were willing to come after hours and at no charge. I declined to work with this company.

It went fine. However, the problem was thought to have been solved with the first visit, but unfortunately, the second visit was necessary.

I enjoyed the high quality of their work and we haven't had any problems since.

The workman was prompt, skilled and did the work promised. The one drawback is that he estimated the cost of the PVC pipe replacement at $100 and then charged me $200 for that part of the job, saying it took him longer than expected (but I didn't think it took that long).

They came back out a second and third time because the toilet kept on running still after the repair. The third time they must of sent out their top service person, and he said that the bowl was cracked, and we needed to replace it before it leaked. The amount that I paid for the repair was put towards the new toilet. I was very impressed with the company.

David was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened carefully to my description of the problem as well as carefully checked connections, lines etc. and explained what he was doing. David was patient with my three year old who loves watching repair work being done and answered questions for him as well.

This company is listed with coupon offer in publication, which means a lot in terms if labor costs. They are also listed in my church bulletin with some amount & price of labor. As long as they don't knick my faucets or damage any other part in my house, I will continue to use them.

He told us what he would do and did it at a fair price. Nice guy.

Shawn called 1/2 hour before he came as promised. He was able to come to our house earlier than he thought; thankfully, because it took about four hours to complete the work. He provided us the written estimate as promised, allowing us to decide whether he should perform the work or not. He was meticulous, polite, conscientious about using cloth coverings on his shoes while in our house and used a rubber mat on the floor when working in the bathrooms. We found out within four days that we were overcharged by $6 when a check from Muetzel arrived in the mail.

It went just fine. They checked and explained that the situation was normal.

Heard a loud pop in the middle of the night. It was a Saturday night. The water softener valve had broken and water was flowing in the back of our basement. Fortunately, it wasn't far from the floor drain and we discovered it before it got into the finished part of the basement. I called three plumbing companies for this emergency early Sunday morning. Muetzel got back to me within an hour. One company didn't do emergencies and I never heard back from the other even though I spoke to the answering service. The Muetzel plumber was very prompt, professional, and clean. We were able to take hot showers within 4 hours of the original call.

The Plumber arrived on time, listened carefully to my complaints, knew exactly what to do, worked efficiently, and took care not to make a mess. I thought the price was a little high, but it was a weekend call.

Since my house is on a crawl space, this really required 2 people. One to snake the camera and one to read the monitor. Fortunately, the tech video taped the process and was able to review and advise. Reported arrival time earlier than actual time.

At first I was happy when the dispatcher told me I could save money by buying the sink myself direct from the warehouse. I did, and Mike Caesar from Muetzel came and installed it. What would have been good to know, and what I didn't find out until later, was that if there was a problem with a part, there was no guarantee unless Muetzel had supplied the hardware. So when the sink proved defective, and Mike had to phone the warehouse, go there and buy a new one, and return to install it, I had to pay another hundred bucks or so. After that, I found it more difficult to tolerate Mike's gum-chewing buddy-buddy patter.

Their price is a little high, but they do a good job.

We called on a Wednesday morning and had an appointment for noon the same day. The plumber was quick and thorough. He completed the job in less than 1 hour.

Quality of work was good. Arrived on time and cleaned up well. However, pricing seemed high

Mike was the technician. He was a riot. Great attitude. Very friendly. He was very careful to put on shoe covers upon entering the house and did an inspection while he was here. I had peace of mind when he was done that my gas fireplace was in good shape.

That price doesn't include any suppliers. They are high in price. They found the leak, cleaned out the drain to the basement. They raised a little plastic pipe in the basement and cleaned out bathtub drain upstairs.

Service was great, Mike(?) was prompt, gave knowledgeable answers. I suggested several alternatives and he discussed the pros and cons of all. He accurately estimated the time to complete the work and was professional and great to work with!

We called Muetzel because we wanted a gas line run outside to our gas grill and to convert our wood burning fireplace to gas. David looked at all of our other appliances that require a gas (stove, hot water heater, furnace) and found that by adding new lines, we would not have enough supply. He installed a larger diameter gas line from the meter to the opposite end of our basement. He reconnected everything to the new line and ran two new lines; one to the deck for the grill and the other to the fireplace. It was pouring rain the day he worked outside, but everything was completely neatly. He even trimmed a large shrub to install the fireplace gas line so that it could not be seen from the street. We would recommend Muetzel!!

It was excellent. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service. It was a complicated job and they took care of all the details.

We purchased our home knowing that there were some plumbing issues that needed corrected. Muetzel Plumbing has been very responsive and thorough. David is the absolute best! When they come to the house, the truck is stocked. So, they provide an estimate and can correct most problems in the same visit. Very considerate, very professional, very neat and clean. We will be using them for our future plumbing needs.
