The plumber (whose name I cannot recall right now) arrived on time, took care not to make a big mess and cleaned up when he was done removing and installing new pipes. He was very professional and did a great job.

David was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He did troubleshooting and gave me an accurate quote prior to starting the repair. He was very professional and his cleanliness related to the job was much appreciated. He wore "booties" over his shoes so he would not track up my carpet, and even laid down a rug so the toilet & tools wouldn't damage my floor! He helped me remove my over-the-toilet shelving unit prior to the work and replaced it after the job was complete; he even replaced the towels & misc items on the shelf! He then took the time to wipe down/clean the toilet rim! He went above & beyond by giving helpful advice & tips on how to prevent future plumbing issues. He's highly recommended!

I thought their work was good. The technician was polite, courteous and skilled. Their price was a little high, but other than that it was a good experience.

The serviceman was very prompt and courteous. He found the problem, explained it to me, and told me how much it would cost. I was able to use an Angie's list coupon. He fixed the pipe (a rather complicated connection), tested it and it held. I now have a dry basement.

They were courteous on the phone, showed up when promised, gave an estimate and fixed the problem on the spot. An Angie's List coupon even saved me 20 bucks.

Plumber was on time and professional. Price was a bit high but several difficulties arose during the install so in the end the price was likely fair.

I had used them in the past successfully. I called them and they had a plumber to my house within an hour and a half. There was a lot of work to do to get the problem solved. He did it efficiently and we are now back in business.

They repaired a leaking water tank on two toilets. They cleaned up everything before leaving.

We made an emergency call on Christmas Eve. They came within an hour. The problem was not as bad as they thought. They felt the sump pump was fine but the pipe leading to it was defective and it was fixed. However, I could tell the repairman did not feel real comfortable with what was done but he was conscious of the fact that I was paying a high overtime rate and did not want to bill me more than necessary. The work seems to have be successful. I no longer have water spraying all over my basement. It was very expensive however and they would not honor the Angie's List coupon because it was "emergency services". I did not see that caveat on their coupon but could not argue the point as I was happy to have someone who came out on Christmas Eve.

They repaired the sump pump. They were prompt, courteous and came the time they stated. I would use them and recommend others.

I was very pleased with the service tech Mike. He was upbeat, helpful and reasonable. I appreciated his attempts to try the moderate, less expensive solution of jetting high pressure water through my pipes, rather than excavation (which another company recommended at the tune of $3000 to $10,000 after failing to clear out the blockage themselves). And he explained everything thoroughly to help me understand all my options. The phone dispatcher (Melissa) was also very friendly, helpful and professional. She actually knew quite a lot about plumbing procedures and was to give me price quotes over the phone. She valued my time and made sure to give me a 30 minute lead before the technician arrived. My only gripe is price. They came to my house 3 times and the visits added up. I paid for the initial service call ($29), the camera work ($138 per hour) and then the jetting ($253 per hour plus $198 each addtl hr). They also used water from my spigot to fill the high-pressure tank on their truck (about 250 gallons times 3 fill ups). I will have to pay for that too when the water bill comes. Their rates are pretty competitive with other companies. But if I had more time and patience, I would have liked to do more research to find someone less expensive. The bottom line is that plumbers are expensive.

I found water backing up in my basement about 9 AM. I called Muetzel and a very nice woman took my service call. She said the plumbers were all out on other calls but as soon as one finished she'd send them out. Shawn and Aaron showed up about 12:15. They looked over the problem and went right to work. They put booties on when they came in the house to protect the floors and put a drop cloth on the kitchen floor to protect it. After they got the drain open, Shawn took a squeegee that he found in the basement and did some clean up. They saw a problem in the city main pipe and called the city to report it. They carried a couple pieces of ruined carpet out to the trash for me. They were such nice guys, I felt very comfortable with them in the house. Shawn advised me how to clean up the floor in the basement and told me about a product they have to keep the drain cleared out. I am VERY pleased with the work by this company.

When we contacted Muetzel, they offered to first come out and assess the problem at no cost. Joe Muetzel came out and because we had incurred so much cost from the Drain Cleaning company, offered to camera our drain FREE, in order to determine the best solution. When Mike then came out to do the camera work, he proceeded to determine that we truly had no problem. Apparently, the first company had not cleared the blockage on their first attempt. Mike even went an extra step by sending the camera down the main line out to the street to be sure we were also OK in that direction. They not only did all of this work FREE, but were extremely thorough when they did the camera and assessment. The only thing they gained is an extremely satisfied customer. We will definitely use them in the future.

Shawn did an excellent job! We had scheduled the toilet fix but added the faucet replacements at the last minute and he accommodated us. They had to return to reinstall pop-up drain washer seal that was damaged during install and we asked them to check a toilet tank leak and they fixed it too.

Mike, the gentleman who came to do the service, was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was very friendly and worked efficiently. He also put down something to protect the carpet from getting dirty, and also put booties on his feet. He also cleaned up very thoroughly after himself.

Great, they were fixing something that another plumber had done incorrectly. I needed them to do this in the middle of a new tile installation. They were very accommodating.

We have used Muetzel many, many times since we moved into our home 2 1/2 years ago. This visit was to install a new toilet which we had already purchased. Shaun did a wonderful job! He arrived on time, covered his shoes, and even brought my paper up from the end of the driveway. He installed the toilet and did some repair work to the old flange. He took the old toilet with him when he left. We will definitely use Muetzel again in the future!

I had originally contracted a self-employed plumber to fix a leak originating from the master bathroom on the 2nd floor. I had told him I had suspected both the toilet and the shower drain. He replaced the toilet wax ring and bolts, and caulked/sealed behind the shower valve cover plate. We continued to have leakage, as evidenced by water coming around the crown molding and heating register into the ceiling below when we showered. When I informed this plumber that the leak was not completely addressed, he defended his work, and seemed reluctant to return for re-evaluation and correction, despite the fact that I agreed with him that the toilet was partly to blame. At that point, I sought a plumber from Angie's List. I found one in my area of the city, with good reviews, and when I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member, they were responsive in getting me an appointment with only one business day's wait. David was punctual and professional, and his diagnostic test for discovering the leak was logical, something the original plumber had not done: he plugged the shower drain, filled the base with water, and removed the plug. We observed there were no leaks to the ceiling below, so we knew it wasn't a drain leak. He then removed the shower arm to find the threads broken and the surrounding drywall wet. He replaced the shower arm, and there's been no more leakage.

Excellent experience from start to finish. From the scheduler who made the appointment to the plumber who came out, the personnel were professional, punctual, and efficient. Great customer service. Next time we need a plumber, they will be at the top of the list.

They price by the job and not by the hour which I really like because there is no guessing as to how much it's going to cost. The service men are always very nice & I feel like I can trust them.

Great. He was really outgoing, had a great personality. And I appreciated him giving me options.
