I was very pleased with his work. He is a one-man operation, but he is efficient and prompt. His rates are reasonable. I paid $200 for his services. He has a lot of experience. No matter what the issue is, I will call him first. He has done a lot of different things for me. My neighbor, who saw him work, liked him. He is very responsive; he will call me right back. I would recommend him and I will use his services again in the future.

Great! Showed up on time and completed the work in the promised time, at the promised price. Was very nice and answered all questions completely. I would use again anytime!

Mr. Fix-It was very responsive to our voice mail message. He returned the call within the hour. We set up a time and he visited with us to survey our projects. He gave us a responsible estimate so we scheduled a time to have the services done at a later date. He came back and did the repairs/services. He explained to us what he was doing and he was very mindful to be neat and courteous to our children (and dog). We are very happy with the results and his prices were very affordable. We will call Mr. Fix-It again if the need arises.

I was in the hospital when he did the work but my family members took care of it. He did the work. We did have an issue with one of the doors but he came out to repair it without any difficulty. Everything has been good since.

Its always a great experience when Walt comes to fix stuff..this is my second time and I would not have anyone else come to help me. Walt is very reasonable with his fees and there is such a confidence knowing that Walt will get the job done in a timely manner..Its nice to know there are wonderful people who truly enjoy their job and are trustworthy..Walt is that handyman!!

Once again, Walt came through in the clutch. Great turnaround time and further consultation in finishing up the trim for the basement. Further, as I've been banned from painting in my house, he was able to finish up some other elements of the painting. While I've had no issues with Walt as it relates to his quotes, (it's always been what he said it would be), it's worked real well to explain to him what I'm planning on doing for the entire project, not just for the specific job that he's performing. That way a) he can plan that particular job around the overall project and b) there are no surprises as to who's doing what. Again -great job!

There's absolutely no way for me to overstate this individual's value to me over the course of my project to finish my basement. I am an amateur at best and Walt has been extremely helpful in both doing the work and providing consultation. He is timely, responsive, and takes great pride in his work -illustrated by the consistent quality I've seen on everything he's touched. I've recommended him to everyone that will listen and have several additional projects in mind, for which I will most definitely use him. I won't derail his pricing strategy if you will, but will say that several dollars were saved (vs. contractor or Geek Squad) with no loss in quality (if anything, an increase in quality)

My last experience with Walt was so fabulous, I was happy to have him back. This experience was not the same. Walt was punctual and professional in the beginning, as he had been in the past. As time progressed, he was less so. Some days he did not show up when we were expecting him, or would be several hours later than I expected. Some days he showed up unannounced to start working when we were not expecting it. We did not discuss how long it would take to complete the work, but I did not expect it to take well over a month, and more than twice the amount of the original estimate. And the original work discussed did not get completed, as we ran out of money before he could do the flooring. In all fairness, he was trying to keep the kitchen functional during the work, so that I could continue to cook in the evenings. He also was nice enough to fix odds and ends around the house when he noticed something was not working quite right (self-initiated). I still was extremely upset that the cost of the project was so much higher than the estimate. As in my last report he still lacks attention to detail, I reminded him to do things like put down a drop cloth to protect the newly installed countertops. In the future I might call him for simple repair work, but not for painting, as this does not seem to be a strength for him. He knows his way around handyman type repairs though, and is always polite. This was not a good experience overall for us.

When I called Mr. Fix It, he said he had a cancellation that afternoon and could come then. He was very prompt and did an excellent job with the requested grouting job and clean-up. He also tightened the faucet and replaced a missing screw, besides making adjustments to the tub stopper and front screen door. We were very pleased with his work and it was a pleasure working with him.

I asked Walt how much he would charge to replace the slider mechanism if I found I could not do it myself. He said since he had work to schedule in our area he would do it for $35. He even told me where to go to buy the part. I found that I could not do the work since was more complicated than it appeared. He did the work and charged $35 as promised. Since it took a little over an hour I gave him a little more than the $35. Many service providers charge $60 just to show up at your door; and their time clock starts running as soon as they step in the door. Walt is far more than fair in his pricing. His work is excellent and he is very honest and dependable. He can do many kinds of work . I would highly suggest that you call him first for your work needs.

Walt did a superb job installing the framing and was meticulous when he finished the uprights to the railings and the hand rail. We also had him install removable lattice around the base of the stoop to mask the block wall. His work was carefully performed with great attention to detail. Walt is obviously a person who takes great pride in his work.

Mr. Taylor was a few minutes early for our 7 p.m. appt, which was nice, didn't have to wait. Also, it's nice that he's available weeknights. He worked quickly and did a great job and showed us the completed work. He is nice and professional and seems to enjoy his work! We will definitely recommend him to friends and family. In fact, we already have work lined up for him in our new house! He was incredibly reasonably-priced as well.

Overall, a great experience for me as this was the first time having a handyman come to fix things.

He was fabulous. He is extremely professional and punctual. He could have had a little more attention to detail, but he did everything I asked of him and more. We were very happy with him and would absolutely use him again.

Seems simple but was full of complications. This house was built in 1924, plaster/lath walls. Routing, fishing and finishing the cables exactly where I wanted them took quite a bit of improvisation. Walt was precise with the work, moved the furniture back into place and cleaned up with no trace of drilling residue.

He came out and really took a detailed look at what the job would entail. He removed the old lighting to determine the hardware he would need to purchase. He came back the next day with everything and hung the two ceiling fans in about 2 hours. He even took the time the evening before he came to paint the ceiling shields (the plastic things to cover the hole in the ceiling) brown to match our ceiling.

Overall it went great. Walt is very professional. His work is excellent. He is very neat and also very plesent. We would reccomend him to anyone.

Someone else had looked at the leak and said it could not be fixed and he fixed it the same day. He was professional and nice. He took off his shoes and cleaned up his mess. He even took some time to pay attention to my son who was about 15 months. He was so nice. I would highly recommend him.

They were very clean and efficient. They came out on-time, they were very courteous, nice, and knowledgeable. They were successful at the job.

The cost was very reasonable and he does very good work. The cost listed is for the sump pump replacement and grounding. The carpet work is still being done so I have not been charged for that yet.

Excellent. Walt was on time. He went into the home. Took care of the problems, he also found other items that needed to be repaired and he took care of that work as well.
