I had a list of problems identified by another car repair company.  I had reason not to trust the quoted repairs.  My husband gets all his car work done at Monroe, so I figured I'd see what they had to say.
I guess there was some a misunderstanding on when they would get to looking at my car.  Fortunately, not having my car for 2 whole days was not a problem.
They found the 2 problems on the quote and told me honestly that one likely didn't need done ever, the other was so minor that there was not way they would recommend the work be done now.
They agreed I needed 2 new tires and a balance/rotation.  Their quote came in lower than the other so I asked them to do the work.  I think I got a fair price and I appreciate their willingness to review the other problems at no cost.

They replaced the starter. Car wouldn't start in their shopping plaza, so we went to them. They quoted us a hefty price, but we got much cheaper quote from our usual shop. We compromised in the middle because we didn't want to pay to have car towed somewhere else. Place did good work but have to push them on price to get a fair deal.

Got us in and out on brake service; got a second opinion down the street, but they weren't willing to get us in that quickly. In and out in under an hour and good, friendly knowledgeable service

The next week my tire light when on. I took it back and they fixed a tire leak for no charge. I recommend this company because they helped me out even when it wasn't related to what I went there for originally.

It was alright. There was nothing special about it. It was like any other brake job I have done. I just dropped the car off and the car was ready at the time they had scheduled. I will possibly use them in the future.

They are honest about what needs to be done in the car. They have a guy in the front that does most of the interactions. They are very good and do good quality work. I had no problems with them. I don’t like their sister concern company for the tires so much.

I have an 11 yr old vehicle that had a rusted exhaust system. I had an estimate at this Monro location which was for almost $800. I checked the price of the parts that they quoted on the internet. The grand total on the parts was less than $350 at the most. I called back and discussed this with the salesman. He told me that was basically their rock bottom price because they were already giving me 40% off because of a web special!!!! In the end, I had the work estimated and performed at another shop out the door for $450. BUYER BEWARE, get several estimates before you go here for muffler work. I can't speak for their other services, but the prices on their namesake service (Monroe MUFFLER) is way out of line.

Awesome. Guys were really helpful explaining everything including showing me the test printouts. They even helped to work the cost down a little bit. I'll be using them again!!!

I went in on Sunday morning (most places aren't open on Sunday). They got it in right away and called me with an estimate shortly thereafter. I had them replace all the brakes, and front rotors. They said I had a few more months on the back brakes, but I went ahead and did them all at the same time. They also mentioned the back shocks are starting to leak, but that I could go another 6 months before having them serviced. The fact that they gave me options was wonderful and helped build my trust in them. The brakes were squealing afterwards and I brought them back in. I was told that that was normal for 1,000-1,500 miles. I brought them back once since that because the squealing continued. They took the brakes apart and cleaned them. They are working fine now.

Oil change was without an appointment and took less than 40 minutes. They pointed out areas of the vehicle to watch that may need maintenance later. They did not push for extra work.
