In January  2013,I started my journey of finding granite for my masterbath renovation. I was looking for granite to replace a double sink counter top. I looked up Angies List for a list of suppliers. I visited several. Because of the size I needed, which is called a remnant, there wasn't much out there. I did go to suppliers that sold slabs of granite but I was told I'd have to pay an extra price to cut from a slab. Much to my dismay. Then I went to Modlich. I found a piece of remnant on their back lot that was the type of granite I was looking for. The sales person Chris DiRienizo was a fabulous help. He told me they had a slab of that granite in the showroom. When I decided that was what I wanted he told me I could cut it from the slab at no extra charge. Chris wrote up an invoice and scheduled a home visit for measuring. I needed to make sure my tile  would go with the granite. I revisited the store with everything I needed to check colors. When all looked good , Linus Modlich took my order for the pice I wanted.  Vinnie Lockridge. came out to measure on 2/18. He was very helpful with my questions and even helped me decide to change the edging on the counter. I called the showroom a couple of times and was greeted with a very pleasant receptionst named Sharon. Delivery of the granite was 2/27/13. I'm very pleased with my experience with Modlich Stoneworks and would highly recommend them.

Worked out great.  Because of my error, the designer (Vinnie) had to reconfigure the piece.  He came out to remeasure and was very helpful.  I was a tad worried how it would turn out, but he did a beautiful job.

Overall they did a good job.

We have just had the absolute best experience with Modich Stoneworks. This family owned business has been operating in Columbus for several generations and it is very apparent to us why they continue to be successful. They do what they say and say what they will do, on time and with outstanding quality. Starting with our visit to their showroom right through completion of installation Modich continued to exceed our expectations! They custom fabricated the granite we selected for our kitchen as well as a granite top for our new 72" vanity in our master bathroom. We can't recommend Modich Stoneworks any more highly. I have used another granite company before, but Modlich was outstanding in their service, installation, helpfulness.....I will definitely use them again.

They were very accomodating and did excellent work.

They have very precise method of measuring and the employee was very nice and helpful.

Everything was fine until the installation. They did some drywall damage. My old countertops overlapped a little bit but they used standard size which did not quite fit. Other than the installation everything else was fine.

They were professional. Always returned calls promptly and arrived when scheduled. They had to re-measure our kitchen because of a change we made and they did not charge us for the re-measure. Our seams look incredible!

From start to finish, it only took 3 weeks! We met with Linda on a Friday afternoon. She described the process from start to finish and gave us a tour of the site, showing us different slabs of granite in all different colors. We were provided with samples to take home that day. By Monday, we had placed our order. Darwin was out the next day to measure. We were able to review the measurements and layout within a couple of days. Our countertops were installed 3 weeks to the day of our original visit to the showroom. Just a note: the new back splash was not the same height as the old back splash, so we had to smooth out the line left from the old back splash and touch up the paint. If we had thought about it, we would have asked them to add some spacers to raise the countertop high enough to cover everything. Or, worked on the area prior to installation. Overall, this was a great experience. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

I thought that they were the best price for the product that I received. I was especially happy with where they placed the seams in our countertops. They were careful with walls and cabinets when installing the granite. Linda Davis was especially helpful when choosing the right granite for our home.

They did a good job. They responded to my phone call. I went to their store and picked it out. The people there were nice. They did great installation. They gave me a name for someone to do the plumbing. The price was right on with or a little lower than others that I had got.

I was pleased overall with the service, selection, price and quality of Modlich. They had a nice variety of slabs from which to choose, good quality and variety of stainless steel sinks, decent showroom to see samples of edges and stone. The process was pretty smooth and I was able to participate in the layout of the cuts in the slabs. This was important to me, and Charlie Dill allowed this to happen. The seams were also very logically placed, and very unnoticeable when the job was complete. We did have a slight glitch during the installation, which was handled very much to my satisfaction. One of the installers nicked the front of our brand new stainless steel refrigerator. Modlich covered the expense of repair for this in a very prompt manner.

LINDA, WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH THROUGH THIS WHOLE PROCESS. WOULD RECOMMEND AND USE THEM AGAIN.

MARK MODLICH WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL, DURING MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY. THE INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONAL. ABSOLUTELY WOULD HIRE AGAIN.

THEY HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF PIECES OF GRANITE TO CHOSE FROM, RIGHT ON SITE. THEY CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND GAVE GOOD ADVICE. OUR KITCHEN HAD A PROBLEM AREA AND THEY WORKED AT IT TO GET IT RIGHT. THEY DID A GREAT JOB, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

AWESOME. WE COMPLETED SEVERAL PROJECTS DURING OUR KITCHEN REMODEL AND THEY WERE BY FAR THE MOST ENJOYABLE AND PAINLESS PART OF THE PROCESS. EVERY PART FROM CHOOSING THE GRANITE, DESIGNING THE LAYOUT AND INSTALLATION WENT FLAWLESSLY AND THE PRICE WAS GREAT.

THE COMPANY PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. THEY HAVE A TERRIFIC RESPONSE SYSTEM. I WOULD CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN.
