Majestic Drywall

Majestic was hired by our general contractor, Aaron Williams. At first and in general, the crews seemed to be well staffed and courteous. Problems came later when our painter made comments about the quality of the work. There problems with the finishing, tape buckling, and sanding that was left to do.

The big issues came as we were trying to schedule crews for the punch out and repairs. There were many instances of missed communication through our builder. Overall we lost about 2-3 weeks out of our schedule because crews they promised to be scheduled never showed up. No one ever called, and we were left to call and complain. I even called the owner, Robert, but mostly got voicemail and few calls back.

At the end we were forced to hire another provider to finish the work.  I would never hire Majestic again, nor would I recommend them. Although the people were pleasant, the work was average, at best, and the company is very hard to work with. I hope we do not have problems later because I dread the idea of having to call them again.

They were definitely conscientious, nice people.  The quality of their work was acceptable.  They showed up on time and completed the work promptly, which I really appreciated as it needed to be finished before other work could begin.  The amount of effort it took to stay in communication was a bit much, and something they could improve upon.  If I had a job that was not time dependent, it probably would not have been as much an issue for me.  Since his was something that had to get done quickly, I would have appreciated more, timely communication.
Overall, they were fine, and I would use them again.

The work itself was pretty good. The communication left a little to be desired. The price was excellent.

Everything was fine and they did a good job. The workers were fine. They did break the sink but they replaced it at their expense. I would use their services in the future again.

Good. Majestic Drywall was chosen as the drywall and paint subcontractor by my general contractor, Trio homes. Majestic was always on-time, and showed up to work when they said they would. They did good quality work and took some steps to protect the other areas of my house. They could have taken a few more steps to keep my house clean, but overall I had a good experience. I did have a few communication issues with some of the crew and their understanding of English, my lack of understanding of Spanish. Overall they did a good job.

This repair was a result of faulty construction by my builder from 12 years ago, however, I was able to coordinate this repair with the builder. The builder picked up part of the cost. Majestic did a good job. They completed the estimate in a timely manner and when we cleared it with the builder they were able to schedule in less than a week and knocked out the project on a Saturday (repair and Mud 4 hours), Monday (texture ceiling, final skim coat on joints 4 hours) and Tuesday (sanding 1/2 hour). I had no problems with setting up the appointment with Bob. As seems typical now, they had an all Hispanic crew which did a great job, but can make communication difficult at times. I stayed with them on the main part of the job and they explained what they were doing as I asked. Overall, I feel they did a good job.

We had half of our house drywalled this year and Luis came and measured our house and talked about everything we needed to have done with the drywall. We needed drywall put in for walls and ceilings. We had 7 rooms done. They were courteous and on time and did a great job doing the drywall and ceilings. They had somebody else come in and do the popcorn work in our ceilings but they were just really good. They do A+ work, great quality.

We put the general contractor and the drywallers in a bad position by asking them to perform all their work in the winter, while we still lived in the house. Despite these challenges, and having to come back on multiple days to accommodate us, they did an outstanding job. They always showed up as agreed upon. They worked well in to the evenings and on weekends when asked to do so. They were very flexible, and at the same time, delivered a very high quality of work. Is in other recent reports, I don't actually know the cost since it was part of a large addition/remodel.
