Mailbox Doctor is a full service mailbox company. Starting out as a summer hobby in 1994, it has blossomed into a year round business that services over 50 neighborhoods in Central Ohio.

Services we offer

We can remove your old mailbox, but we also assemble and install mailboxes purchased by our customers. Additionally, or starightening/leveling., painting/staining, then deliver and repalce it with a a brand new mailbox. We have several lines of popular mailboxes that we install, we can repair damaged or worn out mailboxes by replacing parts

Dwayne responded quickly with questions and he let me know when he could do the work. I ordered the mailbox and he installed it when promised. I ordered the most expensive one offered but he offers a variety of options and his installation cost of $75 is very reasonable. He also hauled away my old mailbox and post, which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend him to others.

The Mailbox Doctor indeed. Finally got my leaning eyesore standing straight and solid. Duane (not sure of the spelling) knocked it out in about an hour with his best tools out with his crew on other jobs. Impressive augur though. Very personable and friendly service all the way through. Well done and I highly recommend.

We had part of our old mailbox pole still in the ground. It was knocked over by a snowplow. He was very friendly and professional. He removed the broken pole in the ground and installed the new mailbox. It is straight and level. He also gives warranty for his work. I would recommend him to anyone needing a mailbox installed or repaired. Reasonable price too.

Called and made all the arrangements over the phone including payment and they were out within a week ( I was not in a hurry) and the new mailbox was there one day when I got home. Nothing fancy, but it's what I wanted and seems very nicely done.

Dwayne came out the day I called and assessed my mailbox, which had been run over and was badly damaged. He was able to recondition the existing parts to look like new, installing them on a new pole, saving me the cost of a new mailbox! He also ensured the work was done to postal code, as not to cause me to run afoul of the USPS and saved me from matters of liability. My mailbox looks better than new, and is planted solidly in the ground. Dwayne is very friendly, knowledgeable, and over-delivered on his promises! He performed great work at a very reasonable price.

Dwayne did great work. He built a custom post to my specifications, notified OUPS (Ohio Utilities Protection Services) ahead of time, removed the old post, and installed a new one—all in the winter. We're very happy, and we'd definitely recommend him to others.

I obtained a replacement bracket and matching paint from the manufacturer. Then Dwayne repaired the post, attached the new bracket, remounted the mailbox, and refurbished the damaged mounting holes that were no longer usable.. The finished assembly looks almost new. Dwayne was punctual, did excellent work on the repair, and cleaned up afterward. All in all, a professional job.

Very well. Extremely pleased. He needed a post extension, and went out to get that. Worked with my schedule and was very good about communications along the way in terms of materials, costs and availability. Workmanship was excellent and he left the area around the base -- grass and such in very good shape as well. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. Cost included $60 labor and $40 materials.

The Mailbox Doctor was great! He answered the first time I called and was very courteous. We spoke about the project, he gave me an estimate, and we set a time for the work to be completed. He emailed me early in the morning on the day of installation to confirm the project details. Later that day he arrived well within the time-frame that we had previously agreed upon. I showed him how we wanted the new post moved over, and he explained that it actually needed to move back as well, so as to avoid the box hanging over the curb. He removed and disposed of the old box/post and installed the new in less than an hour. This was the best $60 I've spent in a long time, as my new box/post look awesome! Dwayne was polite, professional, knowledgeable and efficient, and I totally recommend him.

Dwayne called to let me know he was running a little late. He got to my house shortly thereafter and installed the post as requested. It was 12 degrees outside, but he went right to work and accomplished everything. I admire his work ethic and his very friendly attitude. I would hire him again in a second!

I was sure whether to repair or replace. He helped me do a cost comparison and installing a new one was less. He arrived promptly at the appointment time and already had the box put together. It took only a half hour for him to install and stain the new post/box.
