"The individual providing this review was only an employee and 401k participant where Libertas managed the company 401k plan, not a wealth management client at our office. We are confused as to why the reviewer felt that we recommended investments that benefited our bottom line since we did not (and do not) get paid more or less to offer one investment choice over another - we are paid the same for all investments available. Finally, regarding cost, our fee for this 401k plan was a mere 0.25% (not 2.50%). For those familiar with company retirement plan fee structures, this is unbelievably low for a 401k plan of their size."
"Thanks for the kind response! At our office, we implement an investment management strategy where all our clients own the same portfolios. Specifically, we only have: 1 Stock portfolio 1 Real Estate portfolio 1 Bond portfolio 1 Commodities portfolio 1 Annuity portfolio, and 1 ETF portfolio With that said, while the 50-year-old might have 50% of their assets in the "stock bucket," and 20% of their assets in the "bond bucket," the 80-year-old, on the other hand, might have 20% of their money in the "stock bucket" and let's say, 50% in the "bond bucket." Managing portfolios this way allows us to literally watch our clients money on a daily basis. Most financial planners have many different portfolios, making it nearly impossible to keep track of all their clients' money!"
