LAZARUS MACY'S HOME STORE EAST

Initial mattress was returned as defective. Bedroom set was returned as they could not get a dresser to us without draws being defective. Mattress was discontinued so they replaced it with a downgrade. The mattress sagged from the beginning. I think it was bent bringing up the stairs. They sent out one guy who said it was the bed frame. After every diagnosis, I said it was not the bed frame. They sent out another guy who put a string across the mattress and said there was nothing wrong with the mattress. No one ever sat or laid in the bed. I was told that I should keep turning the mattress and it will eventually break in (I guess that means it will sag every where) Macy's sent a letter and basically said, Sorry but no can fix or honor any claim. Purchased new Amish made bedroom set. Stuck for a while with the mattress.

WE BOUGHT A DINING TABLE AND CHAIRS THAT WERE IN THE CLEARANCE SECTION THAT WAS ALSO ON SALE. THE NEXT DAY WE LOOKED AT THE SALES RECEIPT AND THE SALES AD (NEWSPAPER AD) AND DISCOVERED A DISCREPANCY IN THE ADVERTISED SALES SPECIAL AND THE SALES RECEIPT. AFTER WE CALLED THE LOCAL MACY'S STORE THEY ADJUSTED THE PRICE HOWEVER IT TOOK A CALL TO THE 1-800 MACY'S FURNITURE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER BEFORE THE CREDIT APPEARED ON THE CREDIT CARD.
