They lowered their price when someone else had a better price. They added a surcharge for fuel and I was not to happy about that. The mulch was very good though.

WHEN I CALLED TO ASK PRICES OF TOPSOIL AND DIFFERENT BLENDS, THEY OFFERED ASSISTANCE IN WHAT TO ORDER BASED ON MY USE OF THE TOPSOIL. I WAS QUOTED A PRICE THAT WAS REASONABLE BASED ON OTHER COMPANIES' QUOTES. TO MY SURPRISE THE ACTUAL BILL ON DELIVERY WAS LESS THAN THAT QUOTED. I ORDERED ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND THEY WORKED WITH ME TO HAVE THE DELIVERY MADE AROUND NOON ON SATURDAY TO MEET MY NEEDS (SAID NOON AND THE DELIVERY MAN WAS THERE AT 11:50 - NO WAITING FOR HOURS!). THE BLEND MET MY EXPECTATIONS FOR QUALITY(VERY LITTLE DEBRIS).

I WAS REFERRED TO THESE GUYS BY THE COMPANY THAT DID MY LANDSCAPING. THEY SEEM TO BE MORE PRICE COMPETITIVE THAN OTHERS THAT I COMPARED. I ORDERED 3-4 CUBIC YARDS AND THE DELIVERY TRUCK HAD BEEN LOADED WITH 7-8, SO THE DRIVER GAVE ME THE ENTIRE LOAD! THAT WAS A PARTICULARLY GOOD VALUE, BUT I ADMIT THAT IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO MOVE ALL THE MULCH. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM AGAIN THIS YEAR TO PROVIDE MULCH. THEY APPARENTLY HAVE A MORE ACCURATE MEASURING MECHANISM THIS TIME AROUND. THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PROVIDED A FEW TIPS: 1) USE A PITCHFORK TO LOAD THE MULCH INTO A WHEELBARROW, 2) USING BAGGED MULCH DOES NOT SAVE LABOR TIME.

THE PERSON WHO TOOK MY ORDER OVER THE PHONE WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT AND HELPFUL. SHE DESCRIBED ALL THEIR PRODUCTS TO ME AND HELPED ME TO CHOOSE THE BEST ONE FOR MY PURPOSE. THEY DELIVERED EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD WITHOUT NEEDING ME TO BE HOME, AND THEY PUT THE MULCH PRECISELY WHERE I ASKED THEM TO. THE STAFF I DEALT W/ WERE POLITE & HELPFUL. THE YARDMAN EVEN HELPED LOAD TRUCK (WHICH IS YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY). CHEEERFUL HELP WAS MUCH APPRECIATED WHEN I SAW THE NUMBER OF 65LB. BAGS SITTING IN THE HOT SUN. THE MULCH AS WELL AS THE SERVICE IS TOPS
