It took them for forever, it took them from September to January to do the job and they said they would start the first of July sow e went a head and gutted our kitchen to save money and then Oh by the way we'er not ready yet we can't come until after labor day so I was without a kitchen from July to January.

One man would come in at nine in the morning and the first thing he did was go into my bathroom and would sit  in there for quite sometime.

It was such an horrible job they had to rip out the floor and bring in another crew to reinstall the lament.

They left saw dust all over the floor and new cabinetry sitting in that saw dust.

The workmanship could have been a little better. The quality of the cabinets I think we would have chosen differently if we'd had more information. They selected them.

They failed to deliver on the originally agreed upon project and product. They continually made excuses for changing orders, they did not have accurate billing for materials, and when we came to an agreement on what they could do for me to alleviate the issues with the initial project, they changed the details on that agreement. I first connected with them in October of 2013 to set up the remodeling job and installation of the custom kitchen cabinets. They came back in February of 2014 with a kitchen design spreadsheet. Fastforwarding to the end of the project nearly a year and a half in the making, they left a poor design in comparison to what they had originally showed me when starting the job. They left the site in September 2014, with misdrilled and mismeasured cabinets, broken cabinets, poor quality cabinets, splashed backsplash on the countertops. The final price of the service ended up being twice what they quoted me, not to mention the project caused a lot of distress that caused me a lot of pain in my personal life. The Grabill cabinets were supposed to be high-end as was the justification for the extremely high prices, yet I feel that their product is highly misrepresented as I am not at all pleased with the product. We wrote out an agreement with the provider that they would come back and make acceptable fixes, but they wanted the final check forwarded to them before they came out and made those adjustments which I refused to give them as they did such poor work in the first place.

"These accusations made by client are 100% false. We would welcome and be more than happy to sit down with anyone at any time and provide concrete documentation and evidence proving that all of these accusations are false. We take pride in our customer service and value these clients as we do with all of our clients equally, we value them as we do all of our clients and would like to help and have a mutually respectful relationship moving forward."

I wanted a modest update to my small kitchen and received estimates from several companies before choosing Kitchen Kraft. Even though my job was small and budget  modest (for a kitchen update) I was treated with the same level of care and professionalism I would expect if I were having an expensive, high end remodel. My experience was that the company genuinely cares about making the customer happy. The designer (Al) took the time to help me select products I loved that were within my budget and he spent a lot of time researching faucets after learning I did not care for the styles that are popular now. There was a minor hiccup during the install due to a couple of quirky aspects in the original construction and Al and the installer (Adam) made adjustments to my satisfaction.
Things I really like about Kitchen Kraft:
The free estimate is done by a designer, not a sales person.
The designer shows options for an optimal design and then suggests ways to modify to fit your budget.
They are respectful of the customer's budget and don't try to pressure or guilt you into spending beyond your comfort level.
There's no pressure to hurry up and choose products. They would rather wait till you find the granite you love than settle for what's in stock.
All the staff are friendly, professional, and customer service oriented.
I intend to contact them next year when I tackle the bathroom update.

The work went very well. They did an excellent job. Their planning was excellent. They did everything they said they were going to do and when they were going to do it. They provided excellent service as far as walking us along through all the different procedures and picking up appliances were concerned. It was very well organized. It was very professional. Everything seemed to go the way they said it’s going to finish.

Jim Deen was referred to us by friends and our realtor. He came in and reviewed our kitchen set up. It was not a simple update. Jim put it in his computer and we were able to see renderings of the new layout at no charge to us. We loved it and felt comfortable with and trusting of him. He helped us pick out finishes and has lots of good ideas and opinions that were very helpful to us. He helped us figure out how to repurpose a beautiful butcher block from the original kitchen. The contracter was also wonderful. He finished the job ahead of schedule and looking great. He even made a beautiful cutting board out of the scrap butcher block as a surprise for us. Justin, the construction supervisor was frequently there making sure everything was on track. Everyone we dealt with was professional and conscientious. Communication was excellent. We loved what they did so much, we had them back next year to update one bathroom and reconfigure the master bath. A different contractor was used for the bathrooms, but he was equally terrific. We would definitely recommend Jim Deen as a designer and Kitchen Kraft.

Their strength was in the area of design and the designer did an excellent job. They took care of the whole project and it was within the cost and timeline that they gave us.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. Working with both the designers and workmen was wonderful. Their price quotes were reasonable, and they were responsive to requested changes in the design. They were prompt and the work supervisor, Chris, is very polite and professional. I only have some minor qualms with the installation. We had them install a Pella window and door, but to date, the handles jiggle and the window still leaks air. While I have yet to contact Kitchen Kraft again about this, they did respond promptly the first time with my complaints. the only other curious detail is the man who installed our bathroom, usually worked in scant clothing. While he did outstanding work, it was a bit for our neighbors.

I liked them very well. Through their planning stage they planned the kitchen very well. The contractor was excellent. He did the cabinets, the backsplash tile work, the electrical and plumbing.

The design process was great, including a computer model which other contractors did not offer. The finished product is fabulous. The price was very competitive compared to thre other contractors' estimates, and included top notch materials. There were a few communication issues between the designer, the site supervisor, and the guys who actually did the work and a few problems with the design that caused us to change some things up. These were all minor and I'm sure normal for any job like this. The only true complaint we had was how the job finished up. The guys were in a rush to get out and left the place dirty and with some things unfinished (dry wall patching, messy grout spots). It just looked a little rough, rather than a perfect finished product that we could use immediately without cleaning up ourselves. And when they say they don't paint, they really don't paint, even if they mark up the walls. In the end, we were satisfied with Kitchen Kraft and would recommend them.

My wife loves the new kitchen. There were a few small problems, but they came out as soon as we called to take care of them. I'm working on one last minor issue with a light not being centered over the stove, but other than that we are pleased with the finished product.

THE ONLY GOOD PART OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS THE INSTALLER WHO WAS A SUB CONTRACTOR. HE WAS LEFT TO EXPLAIN AND DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS THE TWO PRINCIPALS OF THE COMPANY MADE IN THE DESIGN PROCESS. THE INSTALLER DID A WONDERFUL JOB BUT HAD TO SPEND HIS OWN MONEY TO UPGRADE THE WORK AND HAUL AWAY THE TRASH. IF YOU DON'T GET A GOOD INSTALLER YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH TRASH (INCLUDING APPLIANCES) IN YOUR GARAGE AND A CHEAP FINISH. IF YOU DO HIRE THEM DO NOT SIGN THE COMPLETION FORM BEFORE THEY HAVE COMPLETED A WALK THROUGH WITH YOU. THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR PHONE CALLS AFTER YOU SIGN THE FORM AND WILL NOT CORRECT ANY MISTAKES MADE ON THEIR PART. I WOULD NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN.

QUALITY OF WORK WAS GREAT. HOWEVER, THEY SAID 3 WEEKS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. WE WERE WITHOUT A KITCHEN DOUBLE THAT TIME. IT WAS COMPLETE THREE MONTHS LATER.

THE JOB WAS TO TAKE NO MORE THAN TWO WEEKS AND LASTED 6 WEEKS. MY OLD APPLIANCES HAD TO BE PLACED IN MY LIVING ROOM FOR THAT PERIOD. THE SUBCONTRACTOR ON THE JOB WAS TERRIBLE, AS FAR AS, CLEANING UP ANY OF HIS WORK WHILE INSTALLING THE CABINETS AND WOULD NOT SHOW UP FOR WORK ON SOME DAYS. IN THE END HE WAS FIRED FROM THE JOB WHICH DELAYED THE WORK BEING DONE.

THEY DIDN'T START THE JOB ON TIME. THEY STARTED ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS LATE. ONCE I SIGNED A COMPLETION FORM, THEY WERE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH TO COMPLETE THE DETAIL WORK. IT WAS SIX OR EIGHT WEEKS AFTER I SIGNED THE FORM BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET SOMEONE BACK HERE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS AND DO THE TOUCH UP WORK. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING FOR US. OTHER THAN THOSE PROBLEMS, THE WORKERS WERE COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY, AND THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY. I WOULD TELL SOMEONE TO SHOP AROUND BEFORE SETTLING ON KITCHEN KRAFT, OR ELSE BE SURE NOT TO SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL THE WORK IS 110% COMPLETE.
