K.A. Menendian Rug Gallery

A huge thanks to Matt for repairing and then cleaning our oriental rug. Matt wove into the rug new edges and it looks fantastic. Perfect match and excellent work. We are very happy with KA Menendian's service and attention to detail. Thank you.

They picked it up and returned it 2 weeks later. The rug looked perfect (and we bought a pad to go underneath).

Very pleased with their services. Easy to schedule and very professional. They picked up the rug on a Wednesday and returned it the following week on Friday.

I have used them for many years. I like them.

I contacted the company by phone and talked to Jay. He said that they pickup in my city on Wednesday and return them a week later on Friday. He gave me a pickup time window and Mathew and his helper arrived on time and quickly rolled up the rugs and left. On the Thursday before the Friday delivery date, Jay called with a time window. We had made another appointment then so we had to wait another week before they returned. Mathew had mentioned padding under the rugs as all we had was an anti-skid pad so I told him to price padding as well. When Jay called to set-up the delivery time, I mentioned that I had seen the company's newspaper ad that mentioned a 10% off on rug cleaning and he said no problem and credited my order. Mathew and his helper arrived early after he contacted me by phone and said that they had a cancellation. I like the feel of the padding under the rug. My wife didn't think that the rugs needed cleaning in the first place but with 2 indoor cats and 5 years of vacuuming only, I thought that they could use it. The price wasn't that cheap but again it is only once in 5 years and included the pads.

They were very accommodating in both picking up my rug (old house) and delivering it to my new home.  They do have limited pick up and delivery days - but they made a special run to deliver it off their normal schedule.  I can't say enough good things about them!

Absolute total professionals. They did a most incredible job, the rug looks brand new.

Pleasant, helpful, I can not recommend them any higher. Professional!!!!

Slow in responsiveness. Had the rug what seemed like forever and returned it faded and damaged. The rug is a wool and silk blend. It WAS fairly vibrant in color. When I finally received the rug back, it was noticeably faded, and they reported some damage to the edge. They denied damaging the rug but it was not damaged when they picked it up. As far as the fading is concerned, they said it had been washed (it had not) and that it may be from sun fading (it certainly was not in contact with sunlight). I am really disappointed in this company and will probably never use them again.

We have purchased many rugs from KA and had great experiences in the past. The rugs are very expensive but GREAT quality so we continued to buy from them. They always require a deposit down at ordering and then the rest at delivery- but this past purchase I had my wife call to schedule delivery and they charged the balance before we even got to see the rug or before
it was delivered. I called to inquire about this and she said that is their policy. I then pulled up my past statements from them and my credit card and we had waited for over 2 months last year between charges, one at the time of ordering and one at delivery. This time it was less than 12 days from the deposit and we just called called to schedule the delivery and they charged the credit card. I have a monthly budget I abide to and planned the delivery according to the past business we have done together. Meaning if the policy had changed I expected to be notified. On the phone call with my wife she asked, and quot;Is the card we have on file ending with xxxx the one to charge to balance too?and quot; she replied yes thinking it would be the same as in the past and it would be charged at delivery. We wont be buying from them again.
All and all I am upset that I was mislead about the purchase deposit and delivery policy and the final cost of delivery was not given to the rug was already delivered to their store. I felt that was a little deceitful.

Staff helped select kitchen runner. Picked out several samples to take home and then helped with final purchase. Offered details about cleaning and proper padding.

It went well. The staff is knowledgeable about all kinds of rugs, and they completed the cleanings in a timely manner.

I initially brought in a silk oriental rug my husband got when overseas that my new puppy had an accident on. Within a couple hours of leaving the rug, the store called me to advise me upfront that because of the fibers/technique used for this rug, it would lose its glossy sheen if cleaned. They surveyed the rug and said they really could not identify by sight or smell any pet stain, and said I must have done a good job cleaning up the accident with blotting and rinsing. They would be glad to clean the carpet, but I might prefer not to at this time since it would lose its gloss and never really look the same. I really appreciated their honesty, even when it meant a loss of revenue for them, since they offered to fully refund my money if I opted not to do the cleaning. When I returned for that rug, I brought 2 wool oriental rugs I bought from Pottery Barn several years ago. They did clean these rugs in less than a week, both looked clean and renewed, and smelled great. Very pleased with the professionalism and service!

They arrived as scheduled and completed the work as expected.

They were a little expensive. I shopped around, and I got an interior decorator there to shop for. She referred to them because of their price and good quality. I walked to KA Menendian and said that I will take it right away if she sells the rug for $1200. She is one good boss. We picked up the other rugs prior to that. We had to wait for a little during delivery. Their price was competitive.

Brought the rug in, took about 2 weeks. Got it back looking like new

They were fine. Everything was fine and rugs came back clean. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future if needed.
