Water heater replaced (water heater under warranty so no cost for new one). No issues.

I accidentally flushed a linen handkerchief down the toilet, which clogged it badly enough that a plunger wasn't going to solve the problem. Two friends had recommended Joe in conversations earlier. I checked him out on Angie's List & found his A Rating. I called him, & he was here in less than an hour, & the toilet was running freely 10 minutes after that. The only reason I gave him a B on Price was because he was only at my home about 15 minutes.

Good service. He is excellent.

He showed over an hour late and proceeded to snake the drain as I had already taken most of it apart. The clog was just after the PVC angle that went to the wall. He snaked it 3 times and it was going up the pipe the wrong way and out of my roof vent. This is where he decided to stop and tell my wife it would be Tuesday to come back out and 300-600 to tear out my cabinet and replace the T in the wall. I came home and decided to tear it all back down and snake it myself with a borrowed tool. If he had taken the 10 seconds to remove the PVC angled fitting he would have cleared the clog in 2 minutes as I was able to do. He charged my wife 100.00 for work that was not even completed or attempted properly. We hired a plumber as yes could have done myself as I did, but my wife needed access to using the water as she is home during the day while I work.

Responded quickly. He had a replacement with him. Completed install timely. Price was reasonable. No holiday or weekend charges.

All work went well. Price seemed a bit high but no issues.

We called Joe at 8 a.m. and he was at the house diagnosing the problem by 11:30 that morning. Came back Sunday and finished the work. Very happy with his quick response, systematic diagnosis, and work. Would recommend and would use again.

Joe responded right away and came out the next day.  He did a good job replacing the disposal - works great, quiet, and no leaks.  The tub drain was draining slowly and I asked him to snake it, which I don't know if he did.  He did readjust it and it drains a little better, but is still slow.  The shower drain leaks through the ceiling.  He cleared out the seal around the drain and said the ceiling would have to be ripped out and the leak assessed, requiring the ceiling to be completely refinished by someone else since he didn't typically do drywall work.  He said he couldn't do the repair at the time and would call back. 
I haven't heard back from him, and I will be going with another plumber to finish the job.  The work he did could have been done in half the time.  He charged for 2 hours of work and half of that time was spent chatting.  I didn't mind the conversation, but didn't appreciate being charged for it.  Plus, the the main reason I had him out there was for the shower which we can't use until it is repaired.  He knew the issues we were having with it (I had explained in detail before he came out) but he said he couldn't finish it at the time. I don't know if it was a matter of not having the materials or the time (it was late in the afternoon).  This was frustrating since I think drywall work is pretty standard when dealing with an upstairs shower drain and if he didn't have the time I wish he would have scheduled for a different day.  Regardless, I wouldn't want him doing the repair given the time overage on his initial visit and his lack of confidence he expressed in dealing with drywall.
Seems like a good guy but could work on his professionalism.

Joe came out the following day after our initial contact.   I had noticed some moisture in the ceiling where we had previous problems with a leaking vent pipe.   He was the 3rd plumber to look at this vent pipe issue and the only one to actually fix the problem.   He was honest, friendly and took care of the problem.   Previous two plumbers had tried to do a quick fix by just applying glue around the joint.  Joe actually replaced part of the pipe and joint that was not sealed properly.    While he was here, I asked him to look at a bathroom sink issue that i was having.   There was some water under the sink in the cabinet from a piece of the drain pipe or drain apparatus not configured properly.   He said it would be no problem to take a look at it.   He took the time to help with that too even though my initial service call was for another issue.   Lot of service providers will not do that.   He just seemed genuinely interested in helping me out.   Everything was done in a timely, professional manner.   Affordable.   Joe also seems like a good person, down to earth and friendly.    Really happy with how everything turned out and will use him again if any other plumbing issues come up.

WOW!  Last night, we had more than 2 inches of rain in less than 30 minutes.  Water was 4 feet  high in the back yards and approaching the front porches.  Not the best time to learn that your sump pump isn't working.  I was lucky--the sump pump filled with water but didn't overflow.  I called Joe Coffman around 8:00 a.m. this morning.  He finished the job he was on and came right out.  The new sump pump was installed he was on to the next job by 10:00 a.m.  He said he would have come out last night if I would have called!  WOW!  Very nice  guy, licensed plumber, very fair pricing.  Will definitely use him again in the future.

Project was completed on time and with no issues.

Joe was on time. Responded quickly and did work that I could not do at a reasonable cost.  I will use him again and was pleased with his service.

Joe had us get the part from the manufacturer which saved a lot.   One was under warranty.  His charges were reasonable compared to some other places, and he is very professional.

I called at 0800 on a Monday morning and he was at the house before 9 am the same day.  I am getting ready to sell the house and the buyers wanted this work done as per their home inspectors recommendations.  Everything went well and charged less than the initial estimate over the phone.

On time; repair was delayed since parts had to be obtained (supplier, not plumber issue), well done.

The job went like clock work.  Joe showed up when and as promised. Had all the materials needed to complete the job and used shoe covers to keep from tracking in snow and dirt.  He caused little disruption to the household activities and cleaned up well after the project was done. I am a very pleased customer and will call Joe Coffman Plumbing first on the next project.

I didn't have any dislikes. Both my husband an I have recently had surgery, he had knee surgery and I had back surgery. He slipped and fell in the shower and apparently in his fall grabbed something so the shower was not working. He's reasonable, he's professional and he does the job. He didn't just come out blindly thinking I've got everything, he asked questions about what the problem was  so that he was able to come and zero out on it and fit it. He assessed the problem right away and addressed i in a short amount of time. I've used him in our church and he operates in the same way. We also used him at he house when we did some renovations, he did the plumbing there too.

Joe came out on a weekend and replaced the sump pump.  He was personable and professional.  Would definitely use him again.
