We chose JNG Painting and Decorating after receiving a recommendation from a long-time friend who had previously used their services. Joe the owner and his crew came highly recommended. Joe, Tom and Cory were extremely careful. What impressed me was the level of detail and the extent of their preparation prior to painting. They taped off everything and spray painted the trim. The painting requirements were quite extensive. There were eight rooms, consisting of walls, woodwork and ceilings. In addition, Joe painted the kitchen cabinets and two bathroom vanities. The finished product was superb and indistinguishable from a manufactured product. After move-in we had several nicks and blemishes that Joe readily returned to repair. All in all, we were very pleased with JNG’s work.

I experienced an easy/ hassle-free process when I decided to hire JNG. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish. I sent Joe a message about the work I was wanting done & he promptly responded. After viewing the rooms I wanted painted(I sent pictures) he sent me a quote with details on the the work he would do & breaking down the monies to show how he came to the final quoted amount. Once I chose my paint color I texted Joe to schedule. Joe arrived at scheduled time & politely introduced the 3 men he had with him(Tom, Corey, Christian) to do the job. All worked efficiently together, were polite, and respectful. You could tell how much they take pride in their craft based on their work ethic. Joe even saved me money by being able to fix a seam on the ceiling & repaint only the water stains instead of repainting the entire ceiling. Turned out great!

I had a few cherry drawers and cabinet doors that get morning sunshine every day and years of it had destroyed the finish. They were far beyond the kind of thing you might dab on Restore-a-finish on. While the ones in the line of sunshine were awful, the drawers right next to them still looked beautiful, so I hoped to revive them and extend the life of our kitchen. I talked with Joe and agreed to a price. I removed the drawer fronts and doors so that he could take them along with a good door to color match with, and he came by a week ago Friday. On the following Thursday, he called to say they were ready and would I like to have them delivered the next day? Wow: they came back in great shape in 7 days so we were very pleased. I've added some pics so that you can see how the sunshine ate them up, and the door is with a little oil to see if that might help at all - it didn't. He sanded them all down, made a custom stain to match and then gave them a durable UV-resistent semigloss topcoat and you probably would never know which ones are the original in our kitchen - and which ones are the newly refinished ones. I put on new bronze knobs and handles. Way to go, Joe!

Outstanding! Joe does awesome work! He is a pleasure to work with, as is his team. Dependable, honest, fair prices, reliable and someone we will use over and over again. I cannot recommend this man more. Total transformation to our kitchen just by painting them cream vs the oak wood we have. We are thrilled!

Wonderful! I can’t thank Joe & Thom enough. We hired them to refinish two stairwells in our home. The finished product looks amazing. Their attention to detail & quality of service was great. They’re the best painters we’ve ever had, and we couldn't be more pleased. Looking forward to working with them again in the future. Highly recommend.

It was a big job. They have a special technique for painting cabinets. We wanted to have our kitchen cabinets refinished or painted. We looked at 4 places who did it. Those prices were highly competitive. He wasn't a hard sale. He wasn't hard to work with and he did a great job.

it went great! Both Joe and his employee Tom were very professional and a lot of fun to have in our home. They are coming back to do cabinet painting in a few weeks. I highly recommend them.

The entire process was seamless. They were very professional,friendly and skillful. I had gotten numerous estimates for job. They offered a very fair price and the work was superb. It was a 3 day process. They cleaned up daily to allow me to use my kitchen. I will be scheduling in the near future to update my bathroom cabinets.

I called several companies and many wouldn't do the stain work. JNG came out and gave me an estimate. They had the best price and beating the other competitors by as much as $5000. JNG completed the job faster than they had quoted and acted in a professional manor. They used a stain and varnish that had low fumes so it wouldn't drive us out of the house. I would recommend and use JNG in the future.

Excellent - Joe did a fantastic job! He was extremely responsive when I first emailed, and I was able to send him pictures of the kitchen plus a count of doors/drawers to get an estimate very quickly. He did an incredible job painting, the cabinets look amazing. The finish is fantastic and they have just the look we wanted. He couldn't have made it any easier for us, all the hinges/hardware, etc. were back on when the job was finished. In addition, what a great person he is, we really enjoyed getting to know him a little. I would recommend JNG Painting and Decorating to anyone. We couldn't be more pleased with their work!!

Awesome! Very easy to schedule, arrived on time each day. Cleaned up perfectly. And - I love the way the cabinets turned out! Very pleased with the quality of the work and recommendations on color choices. Gave my kitchen a new look without the expense of replacing cabinets that were in good shape. Very happy.

I had a great experience with Joe and his assistant, Nick. They painted my kitchen cabinets white in one and a half days, including installing new hinges and drilling holes and installing cabinet pulls, which I had not previously had. They kept everything neat and I had no paint drips anywhere. The cabinets look great and my kitchen is transformed to a more modern look. I'd totally hire them again for any kind of painting project.

We could not be more pleased. This 25 year old kitchen looks brand new and for a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. I really appreciated the fact that Joe handled everything for me. I emailed color and finish selections and Joe picked up everything he needed. The team arrived on time each day and did the whole job in 2.5 days. We have 3 people who work from home and our daily routine was uninterrupted. Really seamless. We've already requested estimates for additional work.

Joe was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. He got back to us right away with an estimate for the work and was excellent at communicating when they would get started with the work. We ended up purchasing one of his Angie's List deals which covered the entire kitchen job. He came out and consulted with us on colors the weekend before coming out to get started. He also brought a sample of a cabinet painted so we could see it before moving forward. They showed up exactly on time and were able to finish the entire kitchen in 2 days! It looked amazing. We did an antique finish and it is a total transformation of our kitchen. We love it! We plan to have Joe back to paint our fireplace mantel and bathroom cabinets now.

It went well. I have used this company once before. Joe is pleasant to work with. He painted my vaulted ceiling and walls in the family room. Also repaired, caulked and sealed water stains as needed.

He was very helpful in the choosing of colors, although I made the final decision. I highly recommend you go with the paint that Joe suggests, because it really makes a difference in the look of the finished job.
Joe, responded right away when I contacted him through Angie's List. I love his positive and can-do attitude. I bought a condo and had some work done before moving in. The fireplace enclosure that went up to the vaulted ceiling was wood and had been poorly painted over. I didn't like the style of it either. I asked Joe if covering it with drywall and painting it to give it a more modern look was possible and confirmed he could do it and he did!! It required putitng in 2 X 4 supports as the design had grooves and uneven edges in it's orginal design. He had the support structure and drywall up in one day. I was impressed.
I love love love the paint job he did. He was professional, efficient and just so nice to work with. I am so happy I joined Angie's list.
For the project that had to be done, I think his price was reasonable. I would hire him again and recommend him highly.

It went very well. Joe was great to work. He was punctual with the estimate and starting the job. He and his worker completed the work within 2 days. They also had to patch a really bad ceiling that had water damage and it turned out great. I liked the fact that Joe could do it all because some contractors would not do the ceiling repair but would only do the painting. Also after starting the work Joe realize one of the bedrooms needed two coats of paint instead of one coat in order to cover the old paint so he did it without extra charge!
