"Spring 2015 you inquired for services and we performed them as discussed, i thought. My email records also show you asked for additional service on 10/14/15 and we did infact perform that cleanup service as agreed on 10/22/2015. You paid for that service on 11/8/2015. I did not receive any request for service after that. I did not know you expected a cold call in 2016. I'm sorry we didn't leave a better impression and I am sorry we didn't deliver on everything you needed although i thought we had."

"I would love to discuss the design and the rough estimate i provided you. I actually have been waiting for your feedback as the design was only intended to be a starting point for discussion. I wish you had contacted us before leaving a review. That being said angieslist did sell a ridiculous amount of my designs and i am proud to say i fulfilled my end of the agreement by providing each person with a quality design at a HUGE discount. I say huge because you paid $49 and got what we normally charge $300 for. Angieslist did not compensate us any of the $49 you paid for the design. Also, the larger company's in our area have salesmen that have one job and that is to sell sell sell. If that is what you are used to i can see why you would expect us to have called you without your invitation. We do not have sales people. In fact we take pride in that we are one of the few reputable company's that the person who you work with to complete your design is also getting dirty leading the crew on EVERY job site. -Jody Linnabary"

"You must be mistaken? I provided you with a design before Thanksgiving last year and can make more copies if you wish. In fact I went out of our service area to do so as angieslist allowed you to buy this deal while living in Blacklick when it was intended for Dublin/Arlington residents only. I personally visited your property 4 times before presenting the design, a 1 hour drive each way. The reason I needed to visit your property so much was because as you know your house was not even built yet. I have repeatedly tried to contact you after you left this review. The phone number angieslist provided us with for you is not in service. Please contact us A.S.A.P. as we will do whatever it takes to resolve this. Also, I would be happy to get you a refund. I would first ask angieslist for a refund as they collected $49 for this design and passed absolutely none of that to us. "[member name removed], I am very sorry you are disappointed. I am also disappointed because i have been waiting on your feedback for the design I prepared for you. The design i sent you was just a starting point for discussion and as with any design i am happy to rework or add to any part of the plan if you are not satisfied with it. My intention was to give you exactly what you wanted. When I met with you and we discussed your landscape it was my understanding that you did not want to redo your entire landscape but instead focus on key problem areas that you have. I prepared designs for you that were very specific in that they only contained deer resistant plants. The plants were labeled. I also sent you some of the material i use for selecting deer resistant plants for you to have. According to my notes, you wanted to replace your already removed Ash tree and you wanted tree selection ideas. I did not include A new shade tree into the design because we already discussed it going in place of the ash tree. The plant lists i sent you were intended to help you select that shade tree. Some of the trees that we discussed in person are on that list. I take great pride in the work that we do here at J.L Landscapes.
