Not to my satistsfaction.

Within a year after the roof was replaced, one area, which has two skylights, has been leaking. After repeatedly trying to contact them to get someone to come out, someone finally came out to look at it. They just fixed the flashing, which did not solve the problem. This has destroyed the flooring and the walls.  Their follow up was very bad, and I would never refer anybody to them.

We hired Jim O'brien Construction, Inc. after Hurricane Ike damaged our roof and siding in 2008. The company representative we worked with, Bill, was very helpful to us. He contacted our insurance company and took care of filing all of the paperwork with them and working directly with the adjustor. Once we had the work scheduled, the crew was on time everyday and Bill was always very professional. We are extremely happy with our new roof and the siding they replaced and would definitely recommend Jim O'brien Construction to others.

It went well, they covered my deductible, the roof looks nice, and so far has all looks well.

My over all experience with Jim was great. He was on time, very professional and there were no surprises. He told me what to expect and that's exactly what happened. I have some more work on my house that needs to be done and I will surely call him again!!!

They were on time everyday it was a great experience from start to finish. He stayed to the estimate and got everything finished on time and looks great. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

They won't return our phone calls and the leak in roof is still there, that is a big problem when you have a house. When I talk all they say is yes we will call you back and that never happens. The initial job was fine but the follow-up has been very poor.

The shingle work itself was done promptly and seems to have been done well. A year later we have no leaks. We were not pleased with the number of roofing nails that the crew left in our yard and gutters. It was probably at least one hundred nails. The skylights were a disaster. They could not find ones that fit properly and rather than just ordering custom ones, they kept pulling them out and trying new ones. This process took over six months. That whole time we did not have shingles over the skylight area and after a leak, had to live with a tarp over our kitchen skylights. They finally convinced us to let them install skylights that were "close" and retrim the boxes inside. We agreed as long as the finish carpentry would look like the rest of our woodwork. They used a subcontractor to do the finish carpentry, and he did a very poor job. The stain didn't match and it was uneven and the wood grain raised up and showed through. After much complaining, they agreed to let us have a contractor we knew and trusted fix it. We were just exasperated by that point. It felt to us like they just cared about the roof and after that was done, they just forgot about us. This was particularly disturbing since we had introduced the company to two relatives and several neighbors who also had hail damage.

Great Job! Signed contract on Saturday, started job on Monday & finished by noon on Wednesday. Clean up was very good.

I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE SPEED THAT THEY GOT THE WORK DONE, THEY DID IT IN ONE DAY WORKING FROM DAWN UNTIL DUSK. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CREW AND THEIR CLEAN UP.

JIM O'BRIEN WAS ONE OF TEN DIFFERENT ESTIMATES RECEIVED. ESTIMATES WERE REQUESTED BOTH FOR 25 YEAR & 30 YEAR SHINGLES. JIM O'BRIEN ROOFING HAD THE BEST ESTIMATE AND TIMELINE FOR BOTH 25 YEAR & 30 YEAR ROOFS. GEORGE WALKER, SALES REPRESENTATIVE, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WELL VERSED ON ALL ASPECTS OF OUR ROOFING NEEDS. IN ADDITION TO WORKING WITH US TO RESOLVE AN ISSUE CONCERNING A BROKEN TABLE. THERE WERE NO QUESTIONS ASKED, THE PROBLEM WAS TAKEN CARE OF. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO LET THEM KNOW THAT THEIR PROMOTIONAL MAILER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND SOLD ME ON USING THEIR COMPANY. NOTE: THIS COMPANY TOOK THE FEAR OUT OF GETTING A NEW ROOF.

DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND SEEMED WILLING TO DO MORE.

VERY PUNCTUAL, CLEAN. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE.

WORKED VERY EFFICIENTLY AND CLEANED AS THEY WENT. EXCELLENT JOB
