Amy Fix is a wonderful designer. I have a smaller kitchen and she created a design to make everything fit perfectly.

We went to Jae Kitchens after we had been elsewhere. The first place was a design and build firm and would only give us a total price for renovation, but didn't break down what the cabinets cost. Jae was helpful in giving details about relative costs of different doors and finishes.
We decided to work with Jae and our Jae designer also gave us some good design suggestions that the earlier designer had not offered.
However, when we said we wanted to use the contractor that our friend had used, we were told we couldn't stay with our current Jae designer, whom we liked. We either needed to use Riverstone construction or switch designers. So, I would suggest that if you have a contractor whom you want to use, that you discuss that initially.
Jae sells appliances and we purchased some from them. That is convenient in that they deliver the appliances when it's time to install them. The other appliances we had in our garage until time for install. The applicances we bought we either ones that Jae didn't carry or couldn't match the price on.
Our designer did make several trips to the house to make sure all was going well and was available throughtout the entire kitchen remodel.

Fair, once again I would recommend getting at least 3 quotes when you do a larger project. The quality is fair for the price paid.
