House Squad is terrific! Great to have 1 source to do so many different things. Timing was perfect & quote was very reasonable. No bill yet to know total, but well worth it.

Dan responded the same day to troubleshoot and then returned on Thanksgiving to fix the problem. Follow-up work to repair the ceiling damage was performed in a reasonable time frame. Dan demonstrated professionalism through his punctuality and by explaining each step of the process to us and providing suggestions to mitigate the damage to the ceiling.

This company is not worth it. The work was adequate, but the guy lacks serious professionalism and social skills. It's like talking to a brick wall when trying to communicate with him. Extremely rude when trying to get something scheduled as well. Many other providers in the area I would give business too before him. STAY AWAY.

The good thing about working with House Squad is that you will get very good work at a fair price AND advice as the project goes along. Danny will offer his opinion if he thinks there is a better way or better brand. I like that. One example I bought a faucet that apparently is very poorly made and Danny advised me to take it right back and pick something of similar value. 
As with any handyman, they work after the c*** crows, have had breakfast, taken a nap and then got up to bother the hens...meaning around 9:30-10:00. As long as you are good with late morning through evening work, this is a good match.
And there is the personality factor. Danny is a delight to work with. Always cheerful and fast with a smile. He will even take the kiddies on rides in his souped up ex-ambulance. Danny loves the children. 

He is kind,prompt,professional and skilled in his trade. He fixed the job but it needed more work done and he came back out and finished the job and the price was right.

We cannot say enough good things about Dan Jones. We bought and immediately started remodeling our home in April 2014. Dan has been there from the beginning; starting with demolition. He is prompt, no nonsense, fair and efficient. We have had several contractors working on the house, but Dan has been our and quot;go toand quot; guy for everything. Dan does not waste time...when he arrives to work, he works! We highly recommend Dan, and thank him for being there for us.
Just part of the scope of work Dan was done to date: demolition of kitchen and three baths; replaced/added all lighting throughout the interior and exterior; built a closet; carpet removal; window repair; replaced all door hardware throughout home; repaired and replaced facia on the front of the house; exterior drainage repair; exterior caulking; added additional finish trim to closets, and the list continues...

I've used him quite a bit. He's very detail oriented and I have nothing but good things to say.

Dan is a great handy man. Does almost anything and is very reasonably priced. We had a couple of pieces of siding blow off during the last storm. Because it was on the second story I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself. And while he was on the roof he found a bunch of junk in one of the gutters and cleaned it out too.

Dan did an excellent job; he is punctual and delivers what he promises; he is very detail oriented and points out alternatives as they arise which is appreciated; i have used his services before and will certainly have no reservations about using him in the future if needed; my home is in VVillage and thus have to be certain service providers are capable of dealing with older homes and Dan is very aware of the issues associated with older homes

I needed a backsplash installed. House Squad was recommended by friends so I looked up on AL. We agreed on services and a price. It was out of scope but Dan provided assistance with a couple of last minute. Decisions which made the difference.

Since I am currently living out of state, I called them and asked them to exhaust two upstairs bathroom fans to the outside of the house. They sounded professional over the phone so I contracted with them to do the work and it was completed within a week of our first contact. Work was required in order to proceed with the sale of the house. Not being in the vicinity of where the work was done, I have not been able to evaluate the quality of the work.

Dan is easy to contact and gives an honest assessment of when he will be available to complete the job.

Great! I was happy to get both leaks repaired quickly.

We were very happy with the work and would consider Dan for other projects around the house.

Dan was very professional in all aspects. He gave a free estimate and his final cost was right on the estimated cost. He showed up on time and the work was done in a timely manner. He did an excellent job and even offered some reasonable suggestions that saved me some costs on the job. I got his name from others whom he has done both outside and inside remodelling work for and I will definitely use his services again in the future.

It was a very good, pleasant experience. It was good workmanship. He cleaned up after himself. He gave me many options for materials. He worked on Saturdays for me. The total bill came out close to his estimate.
