We did a full first floor remodel several years ago, and did a bathroom remodel last year. Excellent work, including extra effort to quickly resolve any issues caused by subcontractors. Very high quality and reliable.

Tom and his HCR crews pay attention to the small details. They uncovered a problem in the original framing of my home which they repaired before proceeding; (they did not have to do this - they could have covered over this 40-year old problem and I likely would never have known of it until it someday became a major problem). Tom’s crew is primarily made up of long-time HCR employees. They were all courteous, prompt and dependable. The job proceeded as scheduled with no gaps with no work for a day or days. The job was completed on budget, on time and on schedule. We have a more beautiful kitchen than we even imagined!

Home Craft Remodeling completely demolished of our entire kitchen down to the studs, including removal of an unwanted wall, and created a beautiful space in its place in which we love to live. During demolition, their craftsman encountered a number of "surprises" and knew how to address them without impacting our plans (or budget!). Throughout all steps of the project with Home Craft we felt as if we were an integral part of the solution. Tom and charming wife are a pleasure to work with as are all his crew members. We were kept informed of progress, next steps and challenges throughout the entire project. For instance, there were minor defects in a couple of the drawer and one cabinet front but Tom identified these and fixed them with perfect replacements. Another "little" thing that pleased us was they way they cleaned up the job site every single night and left it neat and tidy - we appreciated that extra effort throughout the job. Summary: Home Craft's skill, professionalism, and most of all terrific results are greatly appreciated & highly recommended!

The services were well performed but the manager/primary contact was not timely in his call backs. That was the most frustrating part which caused delays in resolving open items. But his contractors were very good and the job was well done!

Reasonable pricing - good value for price - high quality work. Work crews were great - arrived on time, protected surfaces, worked quietly, cleaned up each day, polite, willing do do small extras such as rewiring a phone jack and installing a new ceiling light. We had a problem with their subcontractor mis-measuring a section of our counter top. It took a while to resolve the problem to match up a new piece of quartz, but Home Craft made sure we were pleased with the final installation.

We had a large renovation done on two bathrooms (installation of new vanity, granite counter tops, cabinets, flooring, lighting fixtures, tiles, tub, shower and toilets). We met with the owner, Tom Defibaugh, he gave us some great ideas and led us through the process of choosing everything. Tom?s brother, Mike monitored the subcontractors' work to ensure completion satisfactorily. We loved working with Tom?s wife; she was very nice and kept us informed. When we found things that needed to address, they were taken care at a reasonable time. This was a big project; the job took longer than expected but was satisfied with the outcome and the quality of their work. We would definitely use them again.

This kitchen remodel was a large project that was completed in a thoroughly professional manner from start to finish.
Thomas Defibaugh is the business owner. He came to our home to discuss what we wanted and did an excellent job of asking questions as well as answering our questions and helped us get a better understanding of what was involved with a kitchen remodel. He had several ideas that we adopted. After that meeting he prepared a design draft and an initial quote and provided us with various material samples. We met again and worked out further details. Our next meeting was at the Home Craft offices on Westbourne Avenue. There we were able to see cabinet and granite samples and, after going over all the details in the contract, signed and placed a deposit. The work was then scheduled. This entire process was entirely amicable and devoid of any sort of pressure. We appreciated Tom's patience and the good advice we received from him.
The work began in a timely manner and continued at an appropriate pace. Two members of his crew -- Mike and Matt -- did most of the work other than install the flooring and the electrical work. Matt did a masterful job with the drywall and ceiling plaster. All of their work was professional grade and it was clear they took pride in doing quality work. Tom stopped by from time to time to check on how work was progressing and kept us apprised of the work schedule.
We love our new kitchen. It was a pleasure to work with Tom Defibaugh and all the folks at Home Craft Remodeling -- so much so that Home Craft will be doing our next project -- a family room makeover.

The upstairs toilet had leaked, causing some damage in the bathroom, my kitchen, and my basement. They came when they said they would, and did the work for a fair price. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and respectful. I would definitely re-hire them.

His sub contractors he brought in were awesome. He really did a great job on everything. We had an issue with the glass door in the shower and he was on top of the issue to get it corrected. The work took about 2 months to complete.? He provided us good references for other work that were local in our neighborhood.?I can not say anything negative about Tom and his company, he was great!

This review is for the service that was provided which was to deliver 3D plans of possible options for our downstairs bathroom. The person that I worked with at the time was very professional. What was delivered was pretty basic as far as the 3D plans. In the end I could of produced the same results with some software that I purchased at home depot. I went ahead and asked for a price and decided to check elsewhere as I thought that the labor cost were high considering the amount of work. In the end I found a local carpenter who provided me with several options and completed the work for a flat rate cost for his labor.
As a side note, I decided to come in an do a proper review of what was delivered. I also, wanted to make others aware that this vendor called my house claiming that he never did any work for me. While it is true that no actual construction project was never done by this company they did indeed provide me a service. This review only applies to the service of delivering a 3D plan.
While I respect a company caring about the quality of their product and the reviews they receive I do not like them getting mad claiming I was never a customer. That is an area that may need some work.

The design was good, and they were timely in scheduling an appointment. However, we decided to go with some other contractor - this company's estimate was too high and we weren't ready to move forward.
