Very well. I pulled up, filled out paperwork, walked into the unit, my dog got her shots, I paid, and we were out the door. Love it! The vet and her crew are very nice and professional. it is fast and I paid less than going to the full service vet. No sitting in the waiting room concerned there may be a dog fight. Less stress for the dog.

He didn't have an office. He did house calls. He was really good and I could call him with any panicky questions or anything. He was a little bit more pricey. We used him and my friends all used him. We all agreed that he was a little bit more pricey but some of us didn't have cars. We could call him anytime, like my cat was  having kittens and the first one died and I was freaking out. He helped me thru it on what to do and everything. My other friend whose cat had to be put to sleep, and Ken came over. It was a big ordeal for my friend. They played soothing music before they gave him a good night shot. He was just really good. I had lots of friends that ended up using him.

Whenever I called I talked to a reception type lady first and they always got back to me the same day. I shouldn't even say that about his pricing because he did so much for me that I didn't pay for it, like the counseling. But I got him a lot of business too. I just remember my friends all thinking he is a little pricey but they still used him. He came to you. You didn't have to drag your dog in or wait for an appointment.

It was so comforting to have the opportunity for my vet to come to my house. One of my cats gets very anxious when going to the vet at their office. He was able to give the cat that gets anxious a shot. The last time I took him into the office at another vet, they were unable to give him a shot because he wouldn't calm down. Dr Nekic also told me all about his new office on Mohawk and how they foster some animals there until someone adopts them. I love that about his practice. He was very personable.

Our 6 year old ferret had been losing weight and not eating.  We had him to our regular vet, but were not seeing improvement.  A co-worker recommended Dr. Nekic.  Dr. Nekic came to our home, administered fluids and antibiotics, and showed us how to continue to administering the fluids daily.  Our ferret showed remarkable improvement and increased appetite and weight gain.  Unfortunately, it seems he had too many underlying conditions that we couldn't overcome, and we had to have him put down.  In spite of this, I have to say Dr. Nekic helped improve our ferret's quality of life over the last weeks, and he was incredibly caring and compassionate during the process.  He spoke honestly and openly with us and our 16 year old son (who was the ferret's real caretaker) about options and prognosis, and made a difficult situation less so.  I will say the nature of his practice makes Dr. Nekic "late" or a bit unpredictable as to when he will arrive, but once he does, he will take as much time as required.  His fees might seem high, but in the context of being able to have your pet cared for in the comfort of their home, and given the amount of time and attention he provides, it is well worth it.  On each of his visits, he probably spent an hour on average, and as much as two hours in one instance, whereas our regular vet probably gave us 10-15 minutes in his office.

We have three cats, and it's very nice to have the services of a mobile vet. Ken clearly loves animals, and goes out of his way to do what's in our pets' interests. Of course the costs might be more than for the standard vet at an office, but it all balances out. Especially for older pets, or ones that don't need the stress of a drive and a visit.

He shows up at my house - carries in his various bags and cases - examines the animal (or in my case, all 5 of them if it's just a routine visit) - thoughtfully asks lots of questions - makes a diagnosis if needed - dispenses the shots or what-have-you - writes up the invoice - and that's it!

It was a very good experience.

He works with your individual needs. He charges less than most other vets, and I will continue to use him.

He is a very special vet, things go well regardless of what the job is.

MY DOG WAS TERMINALLY ILL AND IT BECAME NECESSARY TO HAVE HER EUTHANIZED. I CALLED DR. NEKIC AND HE CAME TO MY HOME ON SHORT NOTICE AND LATE IN THE EVENING. I WAS ABLE TO BE WITH MY DOG IN MY OWN HOME DURING THE LAST MINUTES OF HER LIFE. DR. NEKIC MADE SURE SHE WAS COMFORTABLE AND PAIN FREE. HE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE UNDERSTANDING, PATIENT, AND COMPASSIONATE. HE TREATED HER WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT AND DIGNITY. AT MY REQUEST, HE TRANSPORTED THE BODY TO THE FUNERAL HOME WHERE SHE WAS CREMATED.

VERY NICE MAN, NICE TO HAVE AROUND.
