We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator at the end of 2014 and didn?t install it for six weeks. The refrigerator never worked properly. The refrigerator keeps freezing and the freezer keeps thawing. We have had the repair company come out four times and on the last service they replaced almost everything in the refrigerator. The service company will not come out anymore because there is nothing else that they can do to fix it. I have called HH Gregg and Frigidaire repeatedly but they will not replace the refrigerator.

HH Gregg sets delivery policy at the expense of customer satisfaction. They schedule for their sole convenience and don't care how inconvenient they are to the customer. They don't inform the customer of what three hour block they will deliver until the robo call comes in the night before. They also seem to actually enjoy informing customers that they don't ever deliver or provide service on Wednesdays.

Their delivery people act like they don't care if you are happy or not with the company. I suspect that is because management sets policies that leave them dissatisfied with their work conditions and poor training. Their customer service people are equally indifferent to the customer and do a good job of interrupting when one tries to relate why he is are dissatisfied. They only say things like, "That's our policy, sir" or "call corporate office".

HH Gregg is a company that is policy oriented and not customer oriented. They have good pricing but make it up on poor service execution. Buyers beware.

I ordered four new appliances for my kitchen as I was having it remodeled. HH Gregg fine lines carried the brand I was looking for and I was able to order all four appliances in one store - which was a big deal for me. Some of the other stores carried some but not all the appliances I was looking for. HH Gregg worked with me to have the appliances delivered when my contractor was ready to install them which meant HH Gregg held them in their warehouse for almost three weeks. HH Gregg employees from the salesman to the delivery men were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process and I would definitely use HH Gregg again.

With them, you can negotiate and that is what I like about them. We were able to negotiate and get a price for certain things that we found in other places and we tried to get them cheaper there. As always, we had a good experience with them. We have gone to them before and we have gone back to them. If you are a good negotiator, you can get the price that you want there. They are also very professional. As long as they are competitive with their pricing, we will probably continue with them if we have to purchase something else again. We have actually purchased a lot of things through them so we would go back to them.

Tom faxed us the size specifications. We gave him the go-ahead to order. Less than a week later he called to say it had arrived at their warehouse and that the delivery people would call the next day to set up delivery for two days later. I received an automated call first to confirm date of delivery and name and address. Then I got a call the night before giving me a 3 hour window for delivery. The day of the delivery I got a call about 2 hours before delivery saying they anticipated being there 1/2 an hour before expected. That didn't happen, but they did arrive 1/2 hour after that. I had much anxiety about the removal of the old refrigerator----it was wedged in the space at a t-junction with cabinets on either side, cabinets above, and cabinets across....
it was out of there before I could blink! Amazing! The new refrigerator was brought in and put in place, again with no problem.
While we had purchased sight unseen, we have been happy with the product and with the service.

and just a short P.S.---we had been to two other appliance stores locally and neither one offered to search for anything
to fit our space. It was more or less...what you see here on the floor is what you get.
So, I will enthusiastically recommend Fine Lines of H.H. Gregg when someone crosses my path who has a similar problem.

The delivery team were very professional and knowledgeable. Took great care to cover flooring and cabinets so as not to damage during installation. The install was quick and thorough. Range was set-up and tested by installers. Very happy with their work and hope this helps others to make a decision.

We received excellent communication and responsiveness from the salesman we worked with, Dave Mahlin. We showed the allowances that our contractor put into our budget to Mr. Mahlin and he patiently showed us what was available at, above, and below that budget, discussing the features equally. Mr. Mahlin is very knowledgeable about appliances, (he mentioned he enjoys cooking himself), and thus he asked us intelligent questions that helped us better identify what we needed/wanted. He provided us detailed estimates that included internet links so that we could do some homework afterwards comparing consumer reviews for different makes and models, and he did not pressure us to make a sale. When Mr. Mahlin was out of the office, his manager, Chad Foltz, also showed the same high level of customer service by dropping everything and helping us with two time sensitive issues: he helped us to qualify for a KitchenAid rebate on the day of the qualifying deadline, and with an installation item that didn't get delivered the same day as the appliances.
Because we were in the midst of a remodel, HHGregg held the appliances for us until we were ready to install them in the new kitchen. They were delivered on time in perfect condition by two gentlemen who were very professional and careful not to damage our house or the appliances getting these heavy items from the truck to the kitchen. They patiently waited while we inspected each one, since HHGregg made it very clear to us that we needed to inspect them upon delivery so that they could be notified of any problems prior to the deliverymen leaving.
Every person we worked with from HHGregg was pleasant, professional, and patient with us. We have been using the appliances for about a month now - they look beautiful and are performing flawlessly.

Update: After using my new dishwasher for about a month, I have to say that I wish the two delivery men had taken a few minutes to explain a couple of the features of the appliance with which I was unfamiliar, e.g., the salt reservoir--did they already add salt? Do I need to add salt, especially since I have a water softener? I realize that I can call the manufacturer for answers to these and the other questions I have, but it would have been nice if delivery had included and quot;full service,and quot; meaning explanations. Other than that, I am still satisfied.

I was very impressed with HH Gregg Fine Lines. I already knew the brand and model I wanted when I visited the store, and Kelly was very helpful when I found out the store didn't carry that particular model (no other stores in this area did, either, and HH Gregg quoted me the best price) and wanted to place the order. The dishwasher came in quickly, and the store called me to arrange a delivery date and time. The delivery men called me on the morning of the delivery to give me a three-hour window when they would arrive, and then called me again when they were on their way, which I really appreciated. Two delivery men came, and they were very quiet, efficient and professional: laying down floor-protector pads--very much appreciated!--removing the old dishwasher; installing the new appliance; testing it; giving me the extra attachments and manual; and taking out the old dishwasher and removing the floor pads.

My experience with HH Gregg Fine Lines was very positive, from store to delivery to installation. I would not hesitate to shop there again.

It has not been entirely satisfactory, as we have already had to replace the refrigerator twice due to problems that could not be repaired. They only offered us a store credit, but it would have been better for us to have a refund so we could find a refrigerator from another company.
