Well the future came sooner than I thought it would. The heat stopped working at 10pm on Friday night. Different issue with furnace. I called Heartland and left a voicemail asking for a call the next morning. A half hour later Mike called. He told me a couple of things to try which I did. Since they didn't work he said that he would come on Saturday. He came Saturday afternoon and found that I needed a new part which he didn't have. He found a workaround so we had heat. On Sunday the heat went out again, this time from an error that popped up a week earlier. We called, he came out, got the heat working again and also found the reason for the original error code.
Again, I would highly recommend Heartland.

They originally had me sold on the Luxaire brand, but we were very concerned with the sound level of the A/C and after lots of research we were leaning toward the American Standard/Trane system (same equipment different logos). The guys came back out and sat down with me again to find the right American Standard solution. I was being a bit of a pain with my very in-depth questions but they did their best to answer everything, even called their factory rep to get some details on a brand new model that just came out.
It took them a day or two to get a final quote, because the model was so new they didn't have all the details yet, and I was very pleased with the total cost.
On the day of the install they got here early and worked all day, 10 maybe 12 hours. By the end of the day everything was working and they had moved the compressor to the opposite side of the house as the original unit. By the time they pulled out everything was cleaned up and you wouldn't even know they had been here.
They did have to come out a couple weeks later to finish up a couple things like installing the humidifier. They also subcontracted some chimney work that needed done. The company they used (I forget their name) did a great job also.
All in all, great job!
