I was very impressed that they were able to fix them the same day. I expected it to take some time, but they called me a few hours after I dropped off the shoes to let me know they were ready. The price seems a little steep, but this may be the going rate. I will definitely use them again.

The work is excellent -- you can never tell they did anything.  The only thing they could improve -- they usually forget to call when things are ready.  You have to follow-up with them.

Dropped it off, they fixed it and I picked it up the next day good as new.

I called to get an idea of what the cost would be. They said it could be $15-20 depending on how bad the condition was. I brought the sandals over and they said it would be a couple weeks. Because I left on vacation, I didn't return to pick them up for a month. When I returned, they were ready and the cost was less than they quoted me. The freshening of the cork and resoling look great. These sandals have a lot of history, and I was so happy to be able to keep them alive.

Hat & Sole's cobbler is an artist in leather. He recommended and executed several ideas to reinforce and protect my new satchel/briefcase, including hand-crafted feet, a beautiful suede-covered insert and perfect stitching of the strap. He was also able to repair my Coach purse in a very hard-to-get-to area.

They are very good! They are very friendly and I will go back. The above cost is per pair of shoes.

Expenses shoes we wanted repaired. Did a good job and on time, but a bit more expensive than we expected. To their credit, I took in a pair of white sandals, which were stained, to be cleaned. They attempted to clean them several times but were not successful. They did not charge me for this service.

The work has always been satisfactory , at a reasonable price and finished in a reasonable time frame. The most recent job was for the price quoted above. I had one a pair of dress sandals needing one heel higher than the other and the solution was unexpected and better than what I had envisioned. Some jobs were more involved and cost various prices up to about $25. They give friendly, personal service.

My experience was "outstanding." The shoes look great, and both straps were properly repaired and now I have a new purse and briefcase.
