Hansen's Window tends to be a little on the pricey side, but they do perform. I like the quality of the product, the product performs well.

Hansons was referred to me by a friend and my experience with them was terrific. I called the office and spoke with a very nice man who worked around my schedule to send a rep. out the next morning. Michael, the Sales Rep. contacted me to confirm the appointment time. He showed up on time and evaluated the situation. He provided me an estimate ON THE SPOT. He was extremely knowledgable and gave me a plethora of information. The foreman Jerry, and the workers were friendly and completed the work very quickly. They even cleaned up all the debris and took it with them. The work was completed within about a months time of my initial appointment. Little longer than I would have liked, but it was worth the wait. I had contacted several other companies and received quotes from a couple that didn't even provide basic details of the scope of the work, and two other companies said they couldn't give me a price but would send me an estimate which I never received!!! I thought his quote was reasonable and fair given the amount of work that needed to be done. Hansons was not the least expensive but I thought the best value! I am thankful I found Hansons and grateful for a job well done! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will refer them to my friends and family!!

Many problems came up with our condo association not communicating with them to give permission to have the windows replaced and Hansons was patient and consistent. After all the back and forth was completed between the condo and Hansons the windows were placed within a week and only took a few hours. 

The job went very well.  The crew was polite & left the house cleaner than they found it.  One glass door was broken during installation, they got a replacement right away.  I would use them again.

We have had issues for a year and a half.  Communication within the company is poor, and communication with the customers is poor too.  The scheduling issues have been terrible and when they did show up they would not have the supplies or the manpower needed for that day.  Therefore, we would have to reschedule over and over.  They made us believe that they employed many roofers, however, we found out that they were subcontracting the work.  Work is consistently not done properly.  We just don't trust their work.  They had to tear off the entire back of the house again because the air intake was installed wrong, and on inspection, the work is never going to hold up.  The tiles looked worn and tattered and not even close to quality workmanship. After a year and a half we still do not have a completed roof; the work that is done, we don't feel is even close to be trustworthy.

They did excellent work. The company and the representative are fantastic. He exchanged a couple of my windows. They've been great. They called me to let me know that my windows will be in soon for my upcoming project on a bay window.

I truley believe Hanson's knows there job and does it well.  The quality is excellent with a lifetime guarantee. They made sure all the boards on the roof are in good condition.  I had 14 boards needing replaced and I feel if I would have had an indepenent contractor doing the work, the roof may have been laid on top of bad boards. The products Hansons offer are top notch. The paper that is under the shingles is a patented product, no tear guarantee.  They also have a silcon type product that is sprayed onto the roof  that is also patented which means only their company provide this product.  It protect the shingles from mold and keep them from blowing in a wind storm.  The worker were on time and very courteous. The clean up afterword was completed making sure no nails and materials were left behind. The gutters are installed separately and have not be replaced yet.  very satisfied with the company.

A man came and made measurements, then we were visited by a rep and given an estimate.  When the installer came he discovered that the measurements had been done incorrectly on one of the windows.  The window that had been made to the wrong measurements could not be installed and had to be re-ordered.  The workman installed the other windows and seemed to do a professional job.  The re-ordered window took several weeks to arrive.  This delay was the reason for our dissatisfaction with the service.

The whole experience was good. What surprised me was them dealing with the heat. They came out anyways. They came out and did the job well. I am more than satisfied and so is my husband. My husband and I were extremely thrilled and happy with our windows. It wasn't in our budget for the windows that we did have, but with 0% financing, we thought we might be interested. We have 2 very large windows that we are seriously thinking about replacing and we will use Hansons again. They did a good job in every realm and I am really satisfied with their work. I will probably give them good references to family and friends for work in the future.

The only small issue was that it took longer than they said it would. There were a lot of issues that happened along the way, but there was no way they could have known about them beforehand. When there was a problem Hansons tried their best to resolve it. I can't say they could have done anything differently.The actual finished product is EXTREMELY nice. I love my siding. The quality is definitely there.
1-800-Hansons was it. I knew they'd help with the financing, they were the only company I looked into seriously. I am pleased with the job. I was pleased with the way the salesperson explained everything to me. I was also pleased with the professionalism of the workers. Everything was done and it looks very nice. Overall, it was very good.
What also sold me on Hansons was the way the salesperson was real down to earth.

I wanted to take a moment and let you know what an outstanding experience I recently had with Hansons Windows. I purchased a whole-house install of windows (20 total) last month from Hansons and the experience from start to finish was much more than I expected or hoped for. The customer service was top-notch from the sales guy to the team behind the scenes to the professional installers - I haven't had this kind of customer service from any other company in a long, long time. The windows look fabulous with not a detail left untouched. I love them! Hansons team, especially Chris Seggie & Matt(?),the installers, are TRUE professionals and I couldn't be more pleased. These 2 guys are AWESOME at what they do and the hardest workers. They made the experience truly a pleasant one - I can't say enough about what a great job they did, outside and inside the house. Also, the follow-up has been tremendous with several people (Karrie, being one) calling just to make sure things were going smoothly and on time. I am happy to recommend Hansons to my friends and family. My house looks like a million bucks :)

Everyone I talked to at the company, including the people on the phone and the installers, were courteous and polite. All my contact with them has been good. If people like that worked at AT&T, they would make more money. With me and the people on the phone and with the installers, there was no miscommunication. Messages were passed in a timely fashion. I will get six more windows from them soon. If they could polish up the salespeople a little bit more so that they give a quick and precise sales pitch, they would be doing well. I was most satisfied with the fact that the product that was ordered came in a little bit ahead of time and the delivery and installation went better than promised. When I do order the other six windows for this house, I will specifically ask for the same installer who did the front two windows. I don't want anyone else on the job but him. The reasons I picked Hansons, as I stated before, was the quality of their product and their guarantee. I did not call any other companies because I have already decided that I would use Hanson's for my windows. I have seen competitor's windows falling apart. I have seen a very bad Walside job where they took advantage of mentally handicapped people.

They did the whole job in one day. I expected it would take a week. They had three fellas to compete the work.  After the installation work was done, two of the locks on the window were not working properly.  I called them and someone came right away to assess the situation. He even replaced one of the windows. They were excellent with their response to my call.

I had some issues with their service. As I was calling around for estimates, I wasn?t fond of one of the contractors I had spoken with and didn?t like the portfolio of the work he did.

I proceeded to hire Hanson?s for the work and when I spoke with them, I was assured they didn?t use subcontractors and hired and trained their own guys. It turned out that the guy I spoke with, whom I wasn?t fond of; they hired to do the work for me.

Also, the bottom line price was exactly what I was quoted. Since they financed it for me they put in writing the monthly payments so I was able to budget. When the work was finished I saw that the payments were a bit more than what was in writing. It wasn?t exactly what I was promised.  Currently, there are still pieces falling that I am repairing myself. I would not use them again.

They have done a great job. They are friendly and cheerful. They were not the cheapest but the offered a good warranty and guarantee. I think it’s more important than having the cheaper price.  I feel they are a reputable company. I have respect for their work ethic. They worked fast but the quality of the work is good. They worked until the job was complete. I was happy with their service.

They were very clean. I could not believe how clean they were and I was amazed. They rolled plastic from the outside and put covers on the shoes. They did not all speak English fluently but I did not have a problems with that or their service.

Everything went well. I will probably not hire them again because of the price.

The installation crew was very good and did very good work. The experience was fine and I have no complaints.

It was a cold call situation. They came and knocked on our door a couple of days after an ice storm knocked down a gutter.  There were some glitches with completing the order. They initially took incorrect measurements and had to return a couple of times before completing the order.  We were happy with the product. A year after the installation, we did have a problem with a gutter not draining properly. We had a fifteen year guarantee and they held true to their word.  After the work was complete, I continued to receive a lot of sales calls that I had to block their number.

The service for the most part was okay. They did have to come back a couple of times throughout the project. They miss measured one window. They flipped the measurement and had to wait for the new windows to come in. They gave the option to schedule the next appointment that Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend or four weeks from then.   We took the Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend. They were grumbly about working on Saturday and continued to make a few comments. It began to sprinkle and they finished the spray foam installation inside the opening of the windows and told me they would return in a couple of days to install the trim, which they did. They broke some of the plaster around my old windows.  At the time I did not feel it was a big deal but I realized that it was.  The salesman came and looked at a few things and agreed with us.  He told me when they come to fix the trim and replace the plaster.  They also installed the window over the tile in our bathroom. I had to explain to them that I did not want that in case I remodeled the bathroom. They remedied that and it took about three or four weeks to complete. They called a few times requesting my payment and I told them I would not pay until my husband saw the work. I feel it was hard to communicate with them effectively over the phone and I had to constantly watch over their work.  I had the same crew each time.  My husband had worked with this provider previously and was partial about their work but decided to give them a shot.  I will not be using them in the future because of the pain and hassle I went through.  However, I adore my windows. They are nice triple pane windows and are better than our existing windows.

They did a great job! They cleaned up dail. When we had any problems or errors, they addressed and remedied the issues right away.  However, we are not pleased with our gutters and they still do not work properly. In fact, we will be calling this week about this.  The sales men was horrible.  I am very thankful I read the contract thoroughly because he did not fill out the forms properly. He had to come back five different times with the new versions of the contract and delayed the overall project.  I can't believe I hired them after the experience with the salesman but I am glad I did.

DO: Research window buying on your own before you call any companies
DO: Understand insulation values...not just the R-value or U-value, but things like SHGC, VT, etc...there is also a rating for how much air/wind a window allows to pass through. 
DONT: Take "buying advice" from a window manufacturer
DONT: Take their first offer or allow them to force you into something on the first day
