One of the fences went down but, they came out and fixed it right away. It's fine now. It was a little off set but, they came back and fixed it. I think they should schedule better. They took a little time to get to me. I thought the pricing was good.

The process went very well from the quote on the phone and in person to the cleanup at the end. The job took about 2 and a half days. My neighbor was so pleased with the work, she plans to have additional fence work done by Guardian Fence. Well done!

We had a great experience with Guardian! We had a number of fence companies come to give estimates, but Guardian's was the most economical. They provided a great service from start to finish. Their workers were friendly and competent and the quality of their work was sound. We are very pleased!

This is the first time I have filed a negative report (I have filed several really good ones), but I think this is worth noting. We have a fenced-in yard ? 3 sides and the house is most of the 4th side. The original 2 sides of fence were installed by Guardian Fence and lasted many, many years. The third side we replaced within the past 8 years ? also Guardian Fence. So when it became necessary to replace the older 2 sides, we called ? Guardian Fence. Our finished fence looks very nice ? but lacks somewhat on the functionality side. Points of our experience with the ?new? Guardian Fence: ? Their web site request for quote system just doesn?t seem to work; ? The first quote we received took our breath away ? almost $3,000! ? We were not advised that the pickets we were choosing were a ?custom order? (i.e., more time and more money) and no other options that might have been less expensive were discussed; ? When they came out and quoted, they missed an 8 foot section of fence from which our pets were escaping and they had to add that amount, raising our amount owed to $3,100; ? The pickets on our old fence were 42? high, and the pickets ordered were 48?, so they had to cut 6? off the pickets before they installed them. However, when I got home to see the finished job, there was a full 6? gap UNDER the fence for over a 20 foot section. ? This made the fence?s usefulness as a pet retention fence null and void. I immediately filled in the hole with fireplace logs, bricks, anything I could find and we called them. There was more than a 4? gap under the two new gates they installed; we had specified clearance not to exceed two inches, so this simply did not meet our expectations which we had discussed with them. ? My husband called them and their suggestion to us is that WE bring in dirt to fill in the low spots under the fence they installed (even though the fence they removed did not have those gaps). There was no offer to patch up the gap with boards (an option that we would have accepted). They did order new pickets for the gates ? but my husband had to replace the boards on the two gates so that they would not have more than 2 inches clearance underneath. So - $3,100 for a new fence, additional work and expense for us to perform to make it functional????? Our finished fence looks wonderful, but I would not hire this vendor again, nor would I recommend them to anyone ? unless you happen to have a perfectly level yard and just want the finished product to look pretty.

"Sorry about the online estimate request but we never received one from you (not saying you didn't request one) but for whatever reason we never received it. But you forgot to mention in your report you filed some key issues. (a) Your husband met with the salesman and told him that you wanted to match your existing fence and pointed out what and where he wanted it to be replaced. (b) Then we received a call from you that you wanted to add an additional 9 feet of fence.(you even went out and measured it for the salesman and told him over the phone and he gave you a cost) I can't see where that was our fault when we were shown where you wanted the fence to be replaced from by your husband. (c) As for the height of the wood picket it only comes in 4' heights anything below that has to be cut down at no charge to the customer as your original fence boards were cut down to 42" High. (d) The cost of the fence is mostly based on the material cost and cedar fence keeps going up monthly so we have no control of what we have to pay for the materials. this is not to say we like paying the high cost but we just have no control over the materials cost. (e) When your husband called about the fence in one area being off the ground we offered to come back out and lower the fence down and he didn't want to lower the fence. he ask us about longer pickets which we gave him at no cost. and also knocked off $50.00 since he wanted to replace them himself. (f) So overall I think you received a very fair cost on replacing your fence 182 feet of 4' high cedar and two gates and tear out and haul away your existing fence. Sorry you feel this way. I just wish your husband would have let us come back out to take care of the problem for you. but he wanted to take care of it himself and ask for $50.00 off and we did as he requested. They were very quick. They came out and gave me an estimate on the spot. When I called him and told him I was going to use him he was out here within three or four days.

It was hard to nail down when they were coming. First they said "the end of this week". Then when they didn't come by Friday afternoon I called and they said "early next week". Still did not show, I called Wednesday and they said they'd come at the end of the week and they came Friday morning. I realize it is a small job but I had told them that it could be done anytime in the two weeks, I just needed to know when. So I would have been fine with them scheduling it for the next Friday to begin with. The fence looks good and they put it in very quickly once they got here.

The installers arrived exactly when scheduled, were very friendly and professional and the whole installation was completed in less than three days. The fence looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. We have received many compliments from our neighbors. We are extremely happy with the fence. We wouldn't hesitate on contacting Henry for additional fencing needs!

We hired this company after seeing an example of their work in our neighborhood. They gave us a quote and also provided a surveyor to pin the property. Our only complaint is that the surveyor came out and then minutes later, workers started installing the posts. We would have liked some confirmation with us in regards to where to put the fence. The workers went strictly by the survey which ruffled some neighbors feathers. Not what you want to do your first month in a new home. Otherwise, the work was done very well and it looks great.

THE COMPANY KEPT PUTTING THE JOB OFF (FOR 9 WEEKS). THEY DID NOT RETURN MY CALLS AND IT WAS VERY POOR COMMUNICATION.

"CUSTOMER WAITED 5 WEEKS AFTER THE ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN BEFORE HE SAID TO GO AHEAD WITH JOB. AT THAT TIME, WE WERE 4 WEEKS BEHIND DUE TO THE WORK LOAD. CUSTOMER WAS TO TRIM TREES AND MOVE WOOD PILE. DID TRIM TREES BUT INSTALLER HAD TO MOVE WOOD PILE, AND WE GAVE CUSTOMER A GREAT DEAL AT $8.50 PER FOOT ON 48" HIGH CEDAR SOLID BOARD FENCE. THIS FENCE IS USUALLY $14.00 PER FOOT, WE TRIED!! BUT I GUESS YOU CAN''T GIVE A GREAT DEAL AND PLEASE SOME PEOPLE."

THEY WERE ABLE TO MATCH THE OLD FENCE. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, BUT I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE THAT THEY WERE THERE FOR A WHILE!! IM VERY HAPPY AND THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT!!
