I will give them A+. I am very please with the work. The owner have a lot of helpful ideas and very imaginative. His ideas are tremendous. His friendly. I will hire him again.

Mark and his team were outstanding. Mark called me within hours of reaching out via Angie's List. Came right out to look at what we wanted, gave us a great idea of what would work plant wise. He was thorough, fair priced. His team came in and did great work and cleaned up after themselves. Plants and bushes look great. I will be using them again for sure.

Job was done in 2013 and a BBB review was done then. Mark planned the original landscaping and that was fine. When it came to the installation, I was not pleased. The crew did not cut or remove the burlap bags on the shrubs, and more than half died. I called Mark and was told he was out of town looking at landscaping. He didn't return my call or even call as a follow up.

Not so good.  We were very disappointed with the quality of the trees and shrubs they planted.  Many of the trees died, but Greiner did come out a year later and replaced them. Most of the replanted ones lived, but they look terrible.

They have really positive reviews on Angie's List website. They did extensive services. They are spectacular. Marc Greiner, the owner, he's highly experienced, he has a degree in horticulture and you'd only talk to him for a few minutes and you know that this man knows what he's doing. He delivered and he did a wonderful job. He was very fast coming out and talking with me, he was thorough, he asked me a lot of questions about what types of plants I was looking for and I don't make decisions easily so he gave me recommendations based on the floral quality and the lighting because we have a lot of trees. He gave me recommendations on what he would suggest planting and so I gave him some basic guidelines on what I did not want as far as plants and the types of plants that I like. He gave me a book that I could look through while he was kind of surveying the property, so that I could put post-it notes next to the flowers and plants that I like. Even though he probably would not be able to get every single one of them, he would use that as a guide and that's what he did. They were big enough that the landscaping looked wonderful right after he did it, it's not like they needed to grow for a while in order to look good. They look fantastic. He had really good follow-up. He came back personally several times to make sure everything was coming along. We did lose one tree and he did not hesitate to replace it because he guarantees his plants for a year. He came back and replaced it with the same tree and it's doing fine. The price was much, much lower than I expected. All around it was a really good experience. I had him do some hardscape work. He had a brick walkway built from the front of our house to our driveway around to our back patio. Separately he hooked us up with someone he works with to put up a privacy fence across the back of our backyard. This is the guy to go to for landscaping and hardscape work.

They didn't edge very well. I feel they should have asked me how i wanted the flower bed to look and how it was to be done. I had to have them come back a couple of times to seal and dirt where we originally said it was going to be. When they finally brought the dirt, it was just laid down. It wasn't nicely put. This whole meeting with the main person who great but i just wasn't as pleased with the service.

We were very pleased with all of the hard work they did and anxious to see the the results this Spring / Summer.  We plan to continue to use them for yearly maintenance.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!  This was a HORRIBLE experience.  Mark was punctual for the first meetingand wrote down what I wanted and gave an estimate.  Since it was close to the other 2 estimatesand he could do it quicker, I chose him.  I didn't have Angie's List at that time :)  He said that I didn't need to be present when the plants were installed; however, I insisted.  I'm so glad that I was there!  He brought the wrong kind of bushes and I would have only discovered that later, had I not been there.  He had to go back to the nursery that day and get the correct bushes.  The stones used on the stone path were very small.  It looks sooo cheap!  I have never seen a stone path like this!  Three of the tress died.  I opted to replace them with 1 larger tree to block the view of my neighbor's patio and door.  He did not mark where to put the tree when I showed him.  His employee showed up 2 days later without letting me know and put the tree in the wrong place.  Although the tree is large enough to do the job, he planted it in the wrong place!  If I would have been there, I could have shown him and it would have been done correctly.  He just wants to put something in the ground, get your money and be done with the job.  He didn't want me involved.  Way over priced for what I got and the experience was terrible.  NEVER AGAIN!

It was a horrible experience from top to bottom.  The owner is disorganized and was unclear with what they were going to do.  I have had multiple friends around German Village use them and none have been happy or gone back.  It is overpriced and there are too many issues with the work.  Mark (the owner) is hard to get in touch with and they do not schedule their work and time appropriately.

I have to hire someone to undo all the frustration & damage this company has caused! So I basically have to pay twice for the same exact work!

Everything went well, and they did a good job.  I would hire them again.

We have been happy with Mark's services for years.  He is a competent and knowledgeable individual.  I would recommend him to anyone.

The owner, Mark, responded right away with sketches and plans.  Furthermore, I was very impressed that he replaced, at no charge, a plant which had died nearly a year later.

They were great to work with and fair in their prices. The work was done timely. We would work with them again in the future.

I met Mark Greiner at a spring home show and asked him to quote a landscaping job, mainly for hardscaping. After the initial discussions and quotes, he was the leading bidder. I worked with him on creating a plan. At first he didn't think a written plan was needed but after several confusions on the quote and what was in it, I insisted on a drawn plan. He said he would bring his landscape architect by to draw up the plan in a few days. After 3 weeks, he finally called saying they would come by. Then when I received the plan, it had no details, no measurements, and it was not to scale. Basically anyone could have drawn this plan on a piece of paper; it was not worth $150. After this experience, I could not trust him to finish the job and awarded the work to someone else.

They did pretty good work but not what we were expecting. They sent people over to do the work but were not supervised properly. They built things to according to specifications. They were pretty prompt.

HE WAS TERRIFIC! HE MADE MINCEMEAT OUT OF THE THREE FEET OF ICE ON OUR DRIVEWAY WITH HIS HUGE TRUCK.

MAKE SURE TO MAKE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO VERIFY THE EXACT WORK TO BE DONE AND WHEN IT WILL BE PERFORMED. THEY DID NOT DO WHAT WAS DISCUSSED NOR DID THEY OK WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE BEFORE GOING AHEAD AND DOING IT. IT WAS ALSO DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHEN THE WORK WOULD BE PERFORMED, AND WAS COMPLETED WEEKS AFTER WE WERE TOLD.
