replacement windows
 + -1 moreThe work was adequate but they are very slow. Windows were not ready when promised. I prefer to support neighborhood businesses rather than Lowe's or Home Depot. Sometimes, however, the neighborhood places don't make it easy to be loyal.

glass repair, screen repair
 + 0 moreWe replaced every window pane in the house that had even the smallest crack while getting the house repainted. The windows are original to the house - 1920 - and aren't exactly standard. Grandview was excellent about cutting all the various sizes and even recutting when necessary. Made multiple trips as the painters made their way around the house. Couldn't figure out the pricing - didn't seem relatively consistent from one order of glass to the next.
Description of Work: Replaced screens and glass in triple-track storm windows and cut glass for 30+ panes of glass.

 + -1 moreThey did not have them in the size that I needed. We used to use them on a regular basis because they had a little bit of everything, now the shelves aren't stocked and they have a limited supply. If they have to order things it takes a long time.
