Jerry came out for a couple of different things for estimates. We were trying to get bang for our buck and wanted to see what was the best thing to tackle. This repair ended up being to fix damage from a squirrel entering our attic. He gave the worst case scenario price and the price if no further damage was found. He was cheaper than 2 other "handy man" companies I spoke with. He completed the job very timely and the trim looked better than what it did when it was installed on the house originally. He treated it as if it was his own house. He also fixed a gap he saw without charging me. "I was up there and I knew it wasn't a big deal" - he said after the work was done. His quoted price was $300, final price was $120. I gave him additional money because it was the right thing to do.

I had received an estimate from a well known large fence company. The representative that came to my house was disinterested and very unprofessional. The estimate I received was very over inflated and I could not believe they would charge that much for a simple wood fence. I decided to look locally and found GPD Home Improvement. Jerry was very professional, timely and courteous. He came out to the house, listened to what I wanted and gave me an estimate that was over 66% cheaper than the large company. I thought the work would take at least a week but Jerry and his crew started the fence on Tuesday and had it 100% completed by end of day Thursday. The fence looks great! I c

I had several estimates and GPD was by far the cheapest. There were some unexpected costs, but they would have been the case regardless (such as permit fees). GPD took pride in their work. When the bathroom wasnt up to their standing, they took the extra time to make changes that drastically improved the space. They even absorbed the costs of the changes because they wanted to be proud of their work. The end result was a living space that far surpassed my expectations. I'll certainly be using them again.

We decided to update our partially finished basement, with a budget. Gerald worked with me on the lighting and chair rail selections, and produced an end product that was everything we wanted and within our budget. The work was done quickly, and he and his crew were always prompt and courtious. Clean and organized work ethic. The basement had a wonderful working brick fireplace with a beautiful wood ledge, And plain yellowish single color walls, period. Gerald matched installed the chair rail so perfectly, you would never know the walls were ever plain. The finished result of our redo left us with a wonderfully warm feeling family room, that now had the capability to be as dim or as bright as anyone would ever need.
