GEORGE'S LANDSCAPING

We were referred to this company by a friend whose beds always looked fantastic.  This company is AWFUL.  We paid a bundle to have a "spring clean up".   Imagine our disappointment when just two days after they were here, weeds started sprouting up in the beds - they did not use a pre-emergent to control the weeds.  This has been standard with any other company we have worked with as part of their service.  The mulch was so thin that the dirt was showing through after a rain shower - just a small shower, not a downpour!  The mulch is very poor quality.  It has chunks of glass, pieces of plastic and metal and large sticks in it.  Within a short perioed of time, it was entirely covered with mushrooms and "dog vomit" mold.  The didn't haul away any of the yard debris from edging the beds but dumped it in a wooded section of our property.  We have called George 4 times and each time we speak to him he promises he is coming the next week to clean up the weeds and spread more mulch; but, no surprise here, he never shows up.  Save your money, this guy is a con and we got rooked - which explains why our check cleared the very next day! 

They did repair a decorative retaining wall by adding some new blocks and planted seven new small shrubs (which we purchased).  That is the only work that was acceptable.

We called his foreman/boss. He said he'd talk to George but we never heard from him again.

We used George to collect our leaves last fall and were very impressed. His team came in and removed leaves/ground clutter/trimmed bushes - in a swift, efficient manner. (Price note reflected in this report) We called him back to get the yard started this year, he came out to discuss what we wanted to have done, set a date and the work was done! Very reasonable pricing.

I BOUGHT A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR MY NIECE AND NEPHEW. HE IS SUCH A NICE GUY. WE USE HIM FOR ANNUALS, REGULAR LAWN CARE. PUTS IN TREES AND PULLS OUT SHRUBS. DID PREP WORK FOR PLAY SET.
