GB Contractor Roofing & Siding Columbus

Ed was great to work with. His team knocked out my house in 2 days and there was a ton of work to do. First they had to rip off my entire roof-there were shingles on top of the original slate so both had to come off-and then rebuild it. Once they tore the old roof off they built a new one and had it shingled in 1 day. They worked all day long and were super nice throughout. Ed was always on time and great to work with. His employees were clean and nice. I couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks Ed!

This one guys knocked on my door a few days after the storm hit here in Ohio and introduced him self as the owner of this company and stated hed give me a good price, would cover the insurance deductible, I agreed and hired him, we agreed on price, he kept asking me for some money up front and I said no, only when he brought the material to start the service. When he started the job took two days to finish however like I stated he promised me a price and then increased it without telling me and expect you to pay more. They supposedly needed" more material and then the price went from 6000 to 8000 and then I had to
give them more money, I told him that he did not tell me anything about
extra material and he stated, "Its in the contract, its in the
contract". Thats not cool, not a good way of doing business, with a contract or
not they should tell me when I need more material instead of just
buying and giving me a bill later. They cut the line that feeds my AC in the middle of the summer and I had to go and get the part my self to fix it, they didnt even pay for that, might I say took a whole day for them to fix it as well. They lost or broke the drier vent cover thing and took days to come and put the
cover for the drier vent on (the one that goes from inside your house
and blows the air out of the house when your drier is on. I don't know the name of those
things), I had to call them and remind them two weeks after the fact and
they still took 3 more days to come out and put that cover on, they also cut
my cable while doing the work and so I was without cable for a whole day in my living room, they only fixed it next day, I had to argue to get it fixed too, they almost couldnt get it fixed and he wanted me to pay for at least half of the amount the cable company was going to charge me, as if it wasnt his employees fault. He tried to bargain with me like hey you pay for half Ill pay for half, I said NO, its your employees fault you need to fix it.
My overall experience with GB Contractor was awful.
