GARDEN ARTS

After many calls to Garden Arts over the course of several months we finally received a call that John Botelho would be out to give us an estimate. After arriving an hour late for the appointment on a Saturday, measurements were taken and an estimate was then dropped off a couple weeks later dated 4/1/07. Work began at the end of June, paying half the cost as a deposit and the balance in full on Jul 9, 2007. The work completed was exactly what was proposed and done without damage to surrounding landscaping. John does great work when he finally shows up to complete a job. But this time we noticed within a couple of weeks that the Versa-Lok surrounding the front stoop was not level anymore and he did return to make the fix and it held. Sorry to say this was not the case for the newly installed back steps. By September we were calling to leave messages that our back steps were uneven (see attached photos) and after several calls the office manager returned our calls to tell us that he would be out before the end of the season to make the repair. This never happened during the 2007 season. After many more calls the office manager called again and told us he was working out of town and he would be out to make the correction when he returned. This posturing lasted throughout 2008. Finally, after many more calls and the threat to write this up on Angie's List he appeared one day in early March of 2009 without notice and began the repair. After two visits without any notification or communication with us, the steps have been repaired but are now misaligned. (see attached photos) We have been attempting to reach John at Garden Arts but without any response.
