Parkfield Gale Insulation

I had an excellent experience with Parkfield Gale from start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain my options, gave a fair estimate, and completed the work on schedule. The new gutters look fantastic and function perfectly — even during heavy rain. Work was scheduled in a timely manner, workers arrived on time, worked most of 2 days. They were polite and efficient. They responded to questions. Sales Rep was extremely responsive to our questions and followup.
A cautionary note, though: after all the work was done we cleaned up. Then we noticed that our kitchen cupboards on one wall were filled with insulation! We pulled out our dishwasher and also found its back was filled with insulation. We had to vacuum out the motor etc., and also found insulation in the basement. As it turned out, a small area of plaster behind our dishwasher had been removed when a kitchen company remodeled the kitchen some 18 years ago. The cellulose shot right into the house through the hole. I estimate we cleaned up 3-4 lbs of cellulose in these inside spaces. What a mess. Something for other homeowners to check before getting insulation!

They were quick, neat and responsible. They did make a mistake in my attic and filled it with insulation accidentally. They did come back out and correct the issue with no cpmplaints. We were very pleased.

The sales rep, Dominic Leone, was very knowledgeable. There was condensation on an A/C duct and he made some very good recommendations about an exterior wall. During the hot summers of 2012 and 2013, I didn't have any problems. He made a great, spot on recommendation at minimal cost. The workers came out on schedule, cleaned up after themselves and sealed up the hole after they were done.

I had to do some vetting of insulation contractors provided by AEP and Columbia Gas. Terry Sopp, a contractor working with Gale, gave me an estimate that was less than half what a prior contractor, Moody and Moses, had. Both Terry and the guys who ultimately blew in the insulation were professional and provided clear expectations (i.e. the size of holes in the walls). Their diagnostics of existing insulation saved time and money. All were courteous and a pleasure to work with.

Gale insulation provided a professional service with a quality install. They sprayed closed cell foam in the band joists, blow in blanket system in the walls and Owens Corning fiberglass in the attic. The insulation inspection passed the day after the install and I've been very happy with the temperature on the 2nd floor of my house.

All work was done professionly and they did a good job of cleaning up after they were finished.

There was a communication problem, but Dominic Leone went out of his way to make amends, and I'm very satisfied with the remedy.

Excellent experience overall. I bid 4 companies to blow in closed cell spray foam insulation 2and quot; and then batt the reminder of the walls and ceiling. Gale was not the lowest bid but the other company wrote the bid as and quot;1 to 2and quot; of blown in insulationand quot;. I was concerned that they would now blow in the required amount of foam. Gale wrote their bid for and quot;2and quot; of closed cell foamand quot;. Dominic was the person handling the account and did an excellent job of staying in touch as we got the project on the schedule and moved through getting it down. The crew did and excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and was pleasant to interact with. They did have some trouble with their equipment that delayed the job but Dominic stayed in touch and kept us informed how repairs were going, when the crew would be back etc. The foam crew did great work. They filled in all the corners and did a nice tight job. In some places the filled in more than 2and quot; of foam. The batting crew had an easier job. They also fit the insulation in well (even with a fair number of angles/irregular shapes). They even stuffed under the stairs !

I had two companies, including Gale Insulation give me an estimate for insulating my garage. Their Sales Manager, Dominic Leone arrived at my home promptly at our agreed time for the estimate. Dominic was very personable, professional and thorough. In addition to measuring, he thoroughly inspected my attic space for possible ways to access the outside walls of the garage. He clearly explained the process that would be used for each area of the garage.

The two estimates were very close in price but I chose Gale based on Dominic's sincerity, thoroughness and professionalism.

The installers, Sam and Mike were two of the nicest people we have ever had do work for us. They explained what they were going to do and how they would do it. They completed the job in about 5 hours. When they finished everything was cleaned up thoroughly. When they were done, Dominic came back to check that the job was done correctly and to our satisfaction.

Adding insulation to our garage has made a difference of 20 to 24 degrees between the outside temperature and inside. This enables me to work in the garage in reasonable comfort during the winter months. If I need to, I can heat the garage quickly with an electric heater and the heat stays in.

I am extremely pleased with the job Gale Insulation did for us. I highly recommend them.

We had an enerygy audit and got a discount on the insulation for doing so. My husband was here. They were very thorough. They had a detailed list from the person who did the audit telling them where there was leaks and other things. They addressed all of that. The auditing company came out and did a post-audit to check the heat loss, and the work they did fixed it. They were very efficient and tidy. They got the work done. They respected our environment. Their price was right in line with everyone else. They got us scheduled and were out here on time. We noticed a difference in our heating bill.

It went extremely well. The guys were very competent, friendly, and helpful. It has helped the house quite a bit. The pricing is excellent. They were professional. It was all very good.

After having an energy audit through the gas company I actually picked another company to do the insulation. That company did not show up the day I had scheduled with them. That is when I called Gale to see if they could do the insulation . They were able to schedule me in time to keep my rebates from the gas Company. They were such a pleasure to work with. The guys that came to do the work were very polite and proffesional and took time to explain to me exactly what they were doing. They laid tarps down to walk on and also wore booties when in the house. The job took 2 days to complete. My only regret is that I didn't pick them to do the job the first time.

The interior insulation work was completed nicely. The problem was they parked their truck in my yard, which got stuck, they then put pieces of wood under the tires, they left a HUGE mess in my yard for the entire winter. They did come out within the last month and fill the tire marks with dirt, grass seed, and hay. I received my first invoice via fax on 4/4/07 with PAST DUE INVOICES written on the front, then yesterday 4/10/07, they called to see if we were going to clear up our bad debt. I always pay my bills and in a timely manner, I do not feel 6 days is giving me the proper time to pay a bill. I was offended and I still am. I did not call them repeatedly to see how long I was going to have to live with the mess they made in my yard. Actually, they didn't even come fix it or contact us until we called them to see if they were going to fix it.

Tim came out and went over gale windows with me. He was on time, very nice, and answered all of my questions. They were able to put me on the schedule on the day I wanted. The installers did an amazing job. They as well were very nice. They were here for 2 days and did all the outside and inside clean up. You would never know they were here because they were so clean. I would and will use gale again in the future.

THE GUY CAME RIGHT OUT AND DID ALL THE WORK VERY PROMPTLY. HE DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP AFTERWARDS.

THE WORKMEN ARRIVED ON TIME, DID A NEAT and CLEAN JOB and WERE DONE INSTALLING EVERYTHING IN LESS THAN 2 HRS. SINCE OUR ROOF IS CHARCOAL GRAY, THE BLACK GUTTER CAP SYSTEM BECOMES VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE.
