There is nothing Gavin cannot do!! My wife hired him to mount our TV and install a floating shelf below. Gavin offered to hide the wires in the wall and to move the location of our thermostat, as it was now behind the TV set. After he was done with that he asked if there was anything else we needed: well we put Gavin to work! We have a Cape Cod style house and all four upstairs closets were oddly shaped with sloping ceilings downward. There were no shelves or closet units and we considered paying for an expert to come out and design a closet solution. Needless to say this was extremely expensive. Gavin not only designed the solution for each closet (and each of the four closets were different than each other), he gave us several options as to where to buy the materials and made us a "shopping" list. We have beautiful, functional and spacious closets now!! Gavin has a great eye for detail and a perfectionist mentality, from measuring and positioning to the type of hardware he uses (he often explained why he was using certain materials over others). He not only delivers on what you want, but was instrumental in working with us to find out exactly what we wanted without us being able to accurately describe it. He took great care to clean up after himself; plastering, sanding and repainting areas that needed it after his work was through. As if this wasn't enough, Gavin was in communication with us the entire time, as the total work start to finish was about a week. I really appreciated that aspect as I have had experiences with contractors that were vague with end dates and often left me calling them multiple times to understand when the work would be finished. Gavin was instrumental in turning our house into a home, giving great touches and really well designed and constructed solutions to really enjoy our new home!
