I wasn't sure the water line was sealed properly. The two guys that did the work were friendly and explained every step of the work. They hand dug the site. They did a great job and left the job site exactly as it was before.

Michael Cousino, from Freedom LLC, worked extensively with the city to determine the nature of the leak and what the city (and even the Ohio EPA) expected to be done. His crew also made several visits to the site to plan the repair. When the time came to make the repair, the crew arrived when promised. They performed the work by hand instead of with heavy machinery to preserve the sensitive ravine area. When unexpected complications were discovered, Michael did a great job of keeping me updated. Some additional work and expense were needed, but he did his best to keep that additional expense to a minimum. I had never had this type of work done before, so I did not know what to expect. I could not be more pleased with the service and the quality of the work provided by Freedom Utilities. I would recommend this company to anyone.

There were some challenges with getting utility lines marked (correctly) so they could start work, but they kept me informed as they worked through it. They worked with me to identify alternative ways to address the problem, and were very helpful in explaining the available options to get the level of water pressure that I needed. Very pleased with their work, and with the price.

They were incredible. They did everything from digging the hole, fixing the problem, and then even doing the blacktop in the parking lot to fix the hole they dug. Completely turnkey. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional, did everything they said they were going to do, did the job in a timely manner, and they cleaned up. They took care of all the permits to do the job.

Excellent service , honest , and reasonably priced. It was a difficult leak and they worked beyond what was expected to find & repair. I would hire them again for any plumbing issue I would have in the future.

I only had 14 days to have this work done or the City would have shut off my water. I called Freedom Utilities on Friday afternoon and Mike Cousino came out the next morning (Saturday) to provide an estimate. I had four other companies provide estimates and his price was comparable to (or slightly lower than) the others .
As I rec'd the other estimates, they brought up additional questions that I hadn't known to ask Mike, and when I called with these additional questions he answered them very clearly and to my satisfaction.
They were able to schedule the work within two days of my hiring them (well within my 14-day window from the City). Bob and Dave(?) were running a little late, but they called to let me know so that was fine. They were very professional, very friendly, and got to work right away; it was obvious they were experienced and knowledgeable in doing these types of repairs. They were considerate of my landscaping AND *very* considerate/careful when coming in and out of the house to make sure that my cat didn't get out. Once the City water inspector came and approved the work, they cleaned up everything in the basement, refilled the hole in the yard, spread grass seed and straw to cover the affected area, and cleaned up the outside work area. Bob even replaced my garage light bulb while they waited for the City inspector to show up! (I'm too short to reach it)
All in all, they did a great job at a great price. I'd definitely hire them again.

I was scheduled to meet with them at 8:30 in the morning.  When I arrived at 8:15 they were already there and setting up. The crew was extremely professional and personable and I felt very comfortable with them right away.
Despite several complications; rain, numerous large rocks, (iffy time on when the inspector would show up) the guys were very diligent to make sure the job was completed to my satisfaction.  I had not heard of this company before and discovered them through my general contractor, but I will not hesitate to call them for any plumbing issues that I am uncomfortable handling myself. These guys were great!

The city shut our water off after 14 days (yesterday); we just couldn't get all the estimates and schedule the work to be done in time. I had signed a contract with Freedom but hadn't scheduled because they were booked up. I let them know about the water being turned off and they fixed the pipe at 7:30 this morning. They were quick (2 hours) and professional and the process went smoothly. I ended up tipping 20 percent because they had to go out of their way to help us.

I was very nervous about this job. I had just built a new garage and it was situated very close to the water line. Mike assured me his guys would work with the highest precision and the garage would be fine. He was right. His crew was fast, courteous and professional. And his price was HALF of his nearest competitor. When I questioned them both each had the same answers so I felt confident they would do the same work. I was not disappointed. He took care of all permitting and had the city come out to sign off and install the new water meter just as they were finishing up. I can't imagine it going more smoothly.

This was an awesome job, for which we shall remain forever thankful. Mr. Cousino’s prompt responses, at every step in the process, showed he understood the circumstance my family was facing and was interested in helping us resolve it. We appreciated that desire more than Mr. Cousino will ever know. To us, Freedom Utilities is THE BEST company in Columbus, Ohio, in this field of work! Mr. Cousino offers an excellent, more than fair AND reasonable price for the VERY HIGH QUALITY work his company performs, while utilizing specialized equipment (borer) to achieve it, and does so without charging the homeowner extra for its usage! He also includes concrete restoration work in his price, thereby providing increased savings to the homeowner! As if these awesome benefits were not enough, Freedom Utilities also provides the homeowner with TWO outstanding warranties to cover ALL of the company's work! From start to finish, Freedom Utilities is a TREMENDOUS VALUE for the homeowner! If we had gone with ANY other company for this new tap line installation, first, the job itself would have cost more upfront (as much as 1K-2K extra) then, we would have had a need to hire a tree company to cut and remove the large Oak trees (cost-prohibitive) to make way for the tap line to be installed at the spot where it needed to go, and finally there would have been a need to hire a concrete company (very expensive) to restore the section of sidewalk, all of which would have had the single detrimental effect of making this vitally important installation to my family’s future welfare just a dream.

We know you are extremely proud of your crew (and plumber!) and we can easily see why - the men represent your company very well - with integrity, talent/skill and professionalism! Freedom had been having equipment problems, but was finally able to schedule the work and complete it.
Difficult conditions but delivered the service and resored water service.
They had the proper equipment and enough personnel to do the work, even though they had to change the approach after starting the work.

They've done a great job of clearing up the piping issues we've had at the lab. The prices were quite reasonable.

I will use them again in the future. The gentleman who came out was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and fixed all our issues.

The excavation that was required to access the leaking water line was right where I had just completed extensive landscaping. As promised, Michael and his crew performed this repair with only minor disruption of the landscaping, and completed the repair. The price was substantially lower than the other quotes I received, but the service was professional and complete.

They were here quickly and worked with the city to obtain the permits.

Freedom Utilities was one of the companies to come out and look at the job and eventually won the bid. Due to two very large trees that were over the old sewer line, the decision was made to put a whole new line in. This change in plans was taken in stride, all permits and city inspections were done without any problems. They were polite and professional. The yard was taken care of afterwards and even when we experience a similar problem six months later, they came right out to make sure their work was not at fault, The sewer line was fine, but they went above and beyond by tracking down the other issue which was dealt with.

There was an underground electric line that went between the house and the garage, and it was broken in the process. They tried to fix it, but it later failed. I had to contact an electrician to get it fixed. Otherwise they did good work and I know that they did all that they were capable of.

They are incredibly good. The first quote from a different company I called stated that they would have to dig up the whole yard and replace the line. Freedom Utility said they would actually be able to fish out the old pipe and put a new one in without digging up the whole yard. They ended up not even having to replace the line because they found that they new piping had been connected to old piping and only the inside plumbing would need replaced. As a result of their discovery I only spent about 1/2 of what I was expecting to pay. They are incredibly honest. This is the best experience I have ever had with a service provider.

They were helpful in telling me that I could get insurance on my gas and water mains. They were nice and professional folks. Their tip on the insurance has already helped me out. They were very responsive as well. They got back to me within two hours.

They minimally disturbed the ground around the leak.

MIKE WAS EASY TO WORK WITH ON THIS PROJECT. HE HAD SOME GOOD IDEAS ON HOW TO BEGIN THE TWO PIPES BY USING A GARDEN DRAIN AND A RIP RAP STONE AREA.
