Footprints Floors of Columbus

Footprints refinished all of the wood floors in our 100+ year old house. They were amazing to work with from beginning til the end. They made repairs carefully matching the wood. They worked with us to get just the right stain and finish. The crew worked hard and the attention to detail was top notch. We would highly recommend Footprints!

They did any amazing job matching our original floors (60+ years old) and any issues were dealt with in a timely fashion. On the day of the install, Clint's team of specialists, led by Alberto, attacked the project with speed, professionalism and intent! They had the carpet fully removed by 9am, and had a team of six -- all with dedicated jobs (from cutting, to measuring, installation, and more) -- working at maximum efficiency! We had almost 500sq. ft. of new hardwood installed with perfection in less than six hours time! I can't wait to work with Footprints again in the future!

My experience was wonderful from the very beginning to the end!!! The project went so smoothly and was completed in one day! Everyone was prompt, professional and the project site was kept neat. We knew what to buy and how much so cost was kept down by not over buying. ( I was even told to give bulk pick up a call to save money on trash removal. ) Best of all the floors look great and the quality of work impressive. Would I hire them again? YES IN A HEART BEAT!!!

Awesome work and very informative

The owner Clint is very nice but his crews training were extremely sloppy and did no planning. They were tasked with 1000 sq ft of engineered flooring that was nailed down. Their initial lay was poorly done and resulted in over 2 inch off from square. They pulled up some of what they put down and was able to correct to about .8inches. numerous places with seems way to close, in some places right beside each other. They did not take care to make sure the Staples went all the way in and thus corners of flooring is sticking up in some places. I have a location where there is a gap wide enough that I can see the tongue. Clint once to attribute it to natural wood variation but these are milled boards. I have had two professionals walk me through how their issues could have been avoided. I myself have laid a floor previously and regret hiring them. The only reason I did not dog them more and demand they pull it all out and pay me for my wood (which I did at one point but they were reluctant) was that we were scheduled to move in just a few days.

Responsive, quality company and gorgeous floors. They did great work and were careful to clean up the project space (whole 1st floor) each night so our growing family had liveable space while they worked their magic during the day.

Caution! Purchased a new home remodeling the kitchen prior to moving in. Discussed having a new oven and dishwasher and they said we can move the fridge when we do the work. On the day of floor installation, they did not move the fridge and said they could not be responsible for any damage. I was at work and they left without doing the job. I moved the fridge and rescheduled as it was in the contract we would have all appliances out. Then in the contract, it said they would install the baseboard. The installation team did not have a nail gun to install the baseboard so it was not done. I asked if I could get a discount for not completing the contract. I was told the job was written as 1 line-item cost. Do not trust his word. If he is by the contract, should not he honor completing the job as contracted? If you value your time, keep looking.

Clint was hands on and Alberto did an excellent job on our luxury vinyl plank installation. I will call them again for Phase 2.

Clint and his team were able to schedule incredibly quickly for a laminate job. The work was very well done and in time, exactly as expected.

Clint was and is very Professional and takes pride in this company and his work. Definitely recommended him to everyone in my hi-rise building. Excellent proposal and no hidden charges or surprises. Don't find that in today's world.
