It went very smoothly. The workers showed up on time and was very polite. After the job was done, the agent stopped  and did a final view of the job. We then refer the company to three of our friends. There were totally 6 properties were being done by them. This was under the impression that we will receive $200 referral fee per job. It was clearly printed on their post card. However, up to this date we never received any dollar from them! My husband contacted to the manager, James. He gave us all kinds of excuses, such as we need to wait till all the jobs are done; boss's wife is having baby, wait for one more month; the company is no longer exist, he(James) is no longer with the Company.... My husband filed a complain to BBB. I would not call this a good professionalism.

With the recent storms that came through our area, I had noticed some shingles and siding from my old roof in my yard.  We also had water damage on our ceiling in the kitchen.  I called Five Star Renovations to access the situation and over the next week or so, Five Star, began the process of replacing the roof.  They were professional, fast, and made the whole process seamless.  Once the roof and siding were complete, they showed up for the kitchen fixing the ceiling with the water damage.  
Bottom line – Thank you for everything!  From your attention to detail, your follow up, the professionalism, and your wonder way of resolving matters. Five Star and their team did a fantastic job and went above and beyond my expectations. -Aaron

Recently I had my roof and siding replaced. I hired David Skinner with Five Star Renovations after receiving a recommendation from a friend that they do great work. I was impressed with David’s product knowledge and professionalism. David was very efficient with the installation and the products he installed greatly improved overall appearance of my home. After he finished I was so impressed that I also hired him to paint a few rooms in my house.  His company did great work and I’ve since recommended him to a few friends and family members.Keep up the good work.

I realize that I can be both savvy and clueless when it comes to certain repairs. I called Five Star because my roof was leaking and I needed to find out why and have them fix it...fast. My technician came out and had trouble identifying exactly how the leak was getting in, as my roof is pretty new and I had done some repairs. He did not give up. We tested the leak and he hypothesized on what he thought the problem was and why. He suggested a fix and left me with some light instructions (for free). 
Of course, in the end, he was correct and the repairs succeeded for no more than the cost of the my time and his. In the future I hope that I have some opportunities to pay this company the money they deserve for helping me out.

I did not watch them but they returned encouraging me to file a claim with my insurance company. Allstate came out here and said the damage was suspicious for being done deliberately and had several experts come out to look at it. I thought that notion was ridiculous but Allstate said the damage was consistent with damage done by a hammer or grinding a quarter into the roof Allstate paid for a new roof but they listed the claim as "suspicious mechanical damage not hail damage

A project manager from Five Star Renovations inspected my roof and siding (at no cost) for storm damage and told me that there was evident damage and my insurance would cover the whole thing.  I was wary at first, because I know insurance companies will deny til they die..but the project manager was able to meet with the adjuster from the insurance company and advocate for my full roof and siding replacement.  He also worked with my insurance company, to come to an agreed price, and did the work for that amount.  In all honesty, I don't write many reviews but these guys are good.  All my landscaping was protected and they were able to get my roof done in one day.  The project manager was on site throughout the day making sure everything was being cleaned and protected, and swept my yard with a huge magnet after the job was done to ensure no nails were left.  I've heard a lot of horror stories from my friends about contractors leaving nails everywhere, but these guys cleaned everything spotless.  It was actually cleaner after they left than when they got there.  The week after the roof was put on they came out and replaced my siding.  Everything looks great and it couldn't have been less painful.  Five Star took care of EVERYTHING!  (Permits, my mortgage company, insurance company, my home and me!)  I would refer this company to anyone, family and friends!

Five Star approached me on the fact I could have storm damage.  They inspected the roof and found damage to justify placing a claim.  My insurance company paid for the whole roof and I only had to pay a portion of my deductible.  They put the roof on in a day and everything was painless.
